It's possible to censor the internet, yes. It's not shutting it down, it's simply removing and/or prohibiting access on certain sites. In Trumps idea, I think he wants to target mainstream social media sites such as Facebook, Twitter, etc.

Reality is nothing in that article makes sense. It quotes a guy's statement and then talks about IoT wich doesn't have anything to do with the topic of this thread. Not to mention no source is given. Do know what Internet of Things is?
