Why are you comparing them? Sasuke's prodigous doesn't extend that far but he was a prodigy nonetheless.

He still created his own jutsu at 15, a jutsu that far surpasses chidori, Kirin.

Being a prodigy doesnt mean you dont train. Everyone needs practice and everyone trains.
