Enduring through the mightiest of storms,
Seeking refuge within the softest of hearts.
True love seeks not to deceive with many forms,
Nor does it charm with Cupid’s darts.
Being patient, kind, and forgiving.
It watches like a guardian angel.
It surpasses all knowledge and stretches past even the living;
Keeping true, consistent, and unchangeable.
Don’t believe that love and lust are interchangeable entities.
For love and lust may tango, but that doesn't make them the same.
Surely they have two very different identities.
For love doesn't need lust in order to kindle a flame.
Like Aphrodite’s charm, lust loves only what’s on the outside.
Seeking to reel one in with bodily pleasures.
But love lusts only for what’s on the inside.
Gifting one with much greater treasures.
No matter how long the wait.
Love always finds its way.
Whether it is fate or date, love always finds its soul mate.
For true love lasts forever and it shall never betray.
