As we know Kishimoto got his inspiration from DBZ. And now if we look at that universe, there are many planets that are unexplored, and have life on them. Now you might ask so what does that have to do with the Sage.. well in dbz there is a supreme ruler of the universe who looks after all 4 quadrants of the universe.

Well as we all know Sage was some special guy who defeated the juubi... now he appeared out of nowhere. So there is only 1 explanation. The SO6P, didn't die at all he just became old and left the planet. Why? Because he my friends is the

i would put my money on ANY super sayan at the level they reached in the BUU arc or even the Cell arc. actually they would mob the floor clean with Frieza until he starts to like it.
