[Suggestion] Troll Meter

We need a certain Troll meter where people will report it and when it reaches a certain point they'll get banned.


Im tired of waiting for mods to ban trolls :I

People can also lower the meter. Just incase some jerk is reporting you for no reason.

The problem with this is that people will abuse it if they don't like someone.....

If enough people are reporting someone appropriately the troll will be on the mods hit list anyway. The mods keep an eye on people that are most likely to troll, then hand out bans when they become repeat offenders.

Also if an original post gets disliked enough it removes the text so you can't actually see the post anyway.

What if people report you for a reason when it wasn't even a reason to report someone?

For example, what if people randomly started reporting you if they disagree with you? Then you'll be banned for no reason. It's under the moderator's/administrator's decision what is classified as a reason to be banned and the pointless reports.

Plus what if people report you for making a thread in the wrong section? And more people report that thread than a thread that is a troll thread? Then someone will be banned for making a thread in the wrong section and the troll will not be banned, when troll threads are obviously worse than the wrong section threads.

I like the idea of this but I just can't see how it would work fairly.

They removed the dislike option. People abused it, much like they would this idea.

How about you just report the problematic members and the staff will deal with the rest.
