Look at the Manga page below... specifically referring to the Treasured Tools of the Sage of the Six Paths that Tobi has in his possession:

Karuma (who lived with the Sage himself) says:

"They have the power to strongly seal away anything. WHATEVER GOES IN CAN NEVER COME OUT, NO MATTER WHAT..."






...does anyone see where I'm going with this...? How in the world is Tobi able to utilize the beings inside of a "sealed" container, unless it is able to reverse the effects of the sealing technique...? And does this apply to all sealing techniques? If not, why???


Last note. When the Raikages had the Purifying Pot, after temporarily sealing the 8 Tails they were always able to eventually "unleash" the 8 Tails when it was time to try and turn it into a Jinchurriki again. How is this possible if Kishi originally implies that anything sealed can never be unsealed?

Clearly... if you EVER were to make a thread about the Hokages being used in the war, YOU WOULD GET FLAMED TO DEATH. Why? Because everyone on this site agreed that those people sealed could NEVER be unsealed, hence no one being able to bring them back to life via Edo. This was never assumed, that any soul "sealed" could be unsealed at any moment. So yes, me and everyone else on this site LITERALLY ASSUMED you could not be unsealed from this type of jutsu. #ImJustSayin

Excellent questions.

My guess is that they were not sealed, just contained, so they can't escape - that's why the pot is always shown with chains around it. Alternatively it's possible that they were sealed, but the seal did not have the power of the So6P.

i agree with you. if someone been seal into those things they cant released them self only a skillful user who knows about the pot and bottle purposes can undo the damage its just as simply as that. you people are taking everything word for word now(serious). what had surprise me was that the RIKAGE or his teleportation technique girl (the secretary) said that the pot is differ from the bottle if someone speaks it records their voice immediately and seals them instantly why did TOBI or so called MADARA UCHIHA went the long way he could of just seal everyone right their and then, but I'm wondering either kishi trolled him or madara just doesn't know about that purpose/use of the pot of truth.

tobi actually has the items so therefore if have the items themselve u can control what they seal.


The fox was talking about getting the souls in general matter like trying to reivive them or summon them or what ever.

But if u actually have the items themselves u have control of what gets sealed into it so therefore u have control what goes out as well.


why do u think tobi went out of his way to get these items?

pretty sure they say it in the manga..

the only sealing jutsu that seals the user AND it's target *forever* and cannot be undone is the... cant remember the name.. demon god jutsu or whatever. the one minato used on the fox.

3rd used that on the 1st and 2nd. they cant come back. same for 4th. besides tsunade all the other hokages are in that seal. so they will never come back.

i cant say ive read about being able to undo other seals, but now it's looking like you can. dunno why everyone is getting so worked up about it, i sort of expected it lol
