Trivial facts:

-Every member of the Monkey D. family has a mark on the left side of their face (Luffy, Sabo and Garp have a scar whereas Dragon has a tattoo).
-Jozu's "jewels" are made of diamond
-Ace has the highest shown bounty
-Oda created the 11 supernova on a whim
-Oda originally intended Zoro to be the bodyguard of Buggy and not a Straw Hat
-Mihawk has only been shown laughing twice throughout the entire series
-Shanks, Mihawk and Franky share the same birthday
-Roger's "moustache" is actually his long nose hair (Oda said this in an SBS but it was probably just another a joke)
-Originally Sanji's name was supposed to be Naruto
-Throughout the whole series Sanji has never been photoghraphed properly
-Sabo as a kid was voiced by the same person who does the voice acting for Naruto
-Doflamingo is taller than the admirals

Just for the hell of it and to inform you guys of something you might have not known. If you know any then feel free to share them.

Brook was 88 upon their first meeting.. it's how many tagents there is on a piano.. as a pianist I found that funny! For really odd reasons.

The reason why Sanji is not called Naruto, is in fact, at the time Sanji was just to be introduced, Naruto had just been picked up by shonen jump, and Sanjis name was changed, litterately last minute, to avoid name confusion. Had Naruto come out any later than that, Sanji would have been called Naruto.. it's a last minute alteration.. one I am pretty happy about, because Sanji just sounds so smooth, lays well in your mouth. Naruto does not, sounds more spunky.

The first idea Oda had for a first mate, before changing Zoro into being the Mugiware swordsman instead of a buggy body-guard.
Was in fact, a large, round bellied botanist with a laid back attitude and good sense of humour.. also this character was to be called Usopp... years later, the Usopp we ended up having DID in fact become a sort of botanist using massive plants in his arsenal, as supposedly, the original Usopp was supposed to do as well.

... all the boobs in one piece has increased at least 10 percent sieze after the time-skip...

Don't know about the last one, I made that one up, but I wouldn't be surprised.. Nami whom began as a tomboy type character, she sure.... well... urhm.. She developed.

Naruto had JUST been picked up, as Sanji was about to be introduced into One Piece, shonen had not started to publish the manga yet, but they had picked it up, therefore the name change.


Also, Naruto is actually also those swirlie things the Japaneese eats with their ramen. Hench, the joke about Naruto loving ramen so much, with Narutos in it.
AND for Sanji, it's both a food, and a food with swirls in it like his eye-brow, so it kind of makes sense for him, in a pretty funny way.

Still I am glad Sanji became his name, it just sounds cooler some-how, even though it also means some-thing food related... though I can't remember what for the life of me right now...

IDK where you heard/found these but some are just wrong.

Sabo isn't part of the Monkey D. family let alone the D family.
Zoro was always meant to be a crew member(see image below)

This picture is from One Piece Green and shows that Zoro was always a member and his look has changed very little from then until now.

Now I'm not the best(or even good) at reading Japanese so maybe someone can help settle the confusion.

In this pic of "Zoro" as a member of buggy's crew it has something written over his head, I imagine a name.

Yet they have what appear to be two different words written abhove the charactcer. Can anyone tell me what both of those say above the character that looks like Zoro.

The Straw Hat's Jolly Roger appears on a cannon ball in Ruroni Kenshin
SH' symbol also appears in Scott Pilgrim(the comic not the movie)

Whats surprising in that pic in fact is, that most of those early characters actually came true. Only Robin and Franky aint on that pic, that shows oda already had the crew imagined. Do you think those 2 dudes on the left side will be introuduced as crew members?

I think the tall man may, as he is a botanist and was replaced by Robin a historian. Where as the midget was a shipwright and was replaced by another Shipwright. I heard people(someone here) say the botanit was supposed to be Usopp but in the original crew pic Usopp's image is already there so idk about that.
