ok the story begins in a rather new light, two girls hunting down a mysterious fiend who is supposedly responsible for thousands if not tens of thousands of deaths and possesing many evil traits. however this isn't the case because we eventually find out that Vash(the main character) is so pure-hearted he puts goku, luffy, and Naruto to shame. After 10 or so episodes we find the plot of the show, which is Vash is being hunted by a evil organization that seeks to not only kill him but to torment him nad kill of humanity.

The good
What i love about this show is the comedy, if any of you love spiderman and his witty remarks i guarentee you will love this show and then buy it and then own countless figures from this show, because Vash is the anime spiderman(in terms of comedy) This being said i really enjoy it.

mind you this show isn't a comedy, it deals in many serious issues, from abandonment issues, moral to religious issues, and even very deep issues like depression and realism.

The animation is great and i believe that the type of animation used for this show was exactly what was needed, to solidfiy the dirty landscape and the poor humans that try to survive in the planet with two suns.

the bad
The main complaint i have for this show is the quick pace of the second half. the first half is simply comedy with some very deep issues mixed in, but then the second half smacks you on the head and nearly snaps your neck when you have 30 + episodes worth of information compressed violently into 12 or so episodes.

It was so hurried and rushed that I could barely make sense of what was going on, villians died in the droves and the history of Vash was so abrupt you were shaken, not to mention the ending wasn't really fulfilling if you like endings were there is a happy ending becuase this ending while kind of happy doesn't really give you with much.

the final opinion and score
I loved the first 5 episodes of this show, i would even give them a 9.5/10, for the laughs and seriousness and everything else, however the second half of the show really annoyed me. Even though i really did enjoy some bits I just found it rushed and forced.

in the end it was a good series but it quickly descended into a weird vibe were yes there was alot of potentional but it kept you mvoing at such a fast pace you didn't really have time to care about the problems that were there. I feel that if it was alloted about 20-30 more episodes this show would've been one of my favoiretes and defiently on the best animes in the universe, but since so much was condensed I can't award the series to high on my ranking scale and can only give it a 6/10.

Mind you if they had given it more episodes and extended the episodes and focused more on the problems instead of just having them appear and dissapear almost instantly then i would give it a 9.7/10 becuase in truth i loved the show, but I can't overlook the flaws
