[Photoshop] Tried something new!

so i tried making a vertical sig(i really dont know why)
so here it is:

You must be registered for see images

cnc!!?
its nice. but it could use some work. needs some gradients for flow, and to get rid of the purple at the bottom. that big purple area has become te focal, and is distracting forom the main part of the sig. also, its a little over-sharpened.

but the concept is good^^

and thx for the comments guys
you could make a new layer, set it to darken, and use a soft black brush with an opacity of... mabye 25 or 30.

also, when you oversharpen like you did here, the sig loses all of its flow and 3D feel. its like flattening a sig. Sharpening is not something to be used all over a sig. only a little bit in places which you want to be clearer. other places, like backgrounds, and non-focal foregrounds should be blured or left alone.

oh i do that step with the burn tool it gives the same effect right?
so i edited it and removed the sharpening

um, the burn tool just makes it more intense...

but the sig looks better now:). without the sharpening, it looks a lot better, and more 3D. a little bit of sharpening on the face, and a little bluring in the background would be nice, but dont bother making another version for that small detail^^
