I am the type of guy who is cool as long as no bomb is hitting my doorstep and my business is flowing... It can happen across the street or wherever I don't care...I hate China! LOL
I don't know why they don't want to accept the arbitration made by UN, well in fact the Philippines made the appeal on the island as peaceful as possible ('cause I don't think we can have an all-out war, no proper military equipment - and by the United States' help, it might mean a world war).
Or they don't accept it 'cause in the first place, they knew the will lose. So they are aggressive in claiming it. Even as the process in court is ongoing, they already built their bases in the island and threaten any Filipinos who goes there.
BULLY!!!
They can be teach if whole world boycott them/impose a blocking act in worldwide scale. They not yet independent but still interdependent.tbh imo nothing wrong or right about this. They can press their claim with their strong military against weak countries. They are ****ing commies and expecting them to honor a deal or fairness is just ridiculous.
It is unlikely some one would sanction china. For US companies it would be too much for them to leave the cheap labor they are getting there. They can be teach if whole world boycott them/impose a blocking act in worldwide scale. They not yet independent but still interdependent.
Their technology still reliant on western tech/developed countries tech. If western world/developed countries are serious they can block any intellectual property access to China.
Take computer tech, the most crucial in modern world. Intel was the dominant supplier of CPU. Ok let say Intel/AMD stop supplying them in-turn they say they will develop their own CPU but they need CPU architecture. Who holds the copyright of CPU - ARM(UK), IBM(power semi), MIPS(US), DEC CPU architecture(US). China need to license it and pay the royalty to western organization. They cant claim all those above were their own or having the right to used it freely.
China cant claim anything and if they try to bring this matter toward world tribunal they sure will lost/in weaker end. Developed countries are reluctant to impose such act bcus they afraid they will lost one big market but China just representing about 1.2 billion population from 7 billion population worldwide. There exist large market outside China. I think greed help China thrived and thinking they can do anything and no one can stop them.
At one time when China is yet to open up their border, no such problem occurred and western/developed countries especially their companies/MNC still thriving worldwide.
I dont want to be racist/being regard as a racist but this is how whole world can teach China about manner and teach them they were not the center of the Universe.
They look strong bcus of their numbers but they are not alone, India also in billion club, western world also reaching to billion.
Intellectual right mean nothing to them but they can only sell their products inside China or face heavy lawsuit from Developed world if they try to sell it outside China and much of technology they have currently mainly in medium high-tech. But I doubt they can copy BMW engine and sell it like their own develop property to outside countries. It is unlikely some one would sanction china. For US companies it would be too much for them to leave the cheap labor they are getting there.
Intellectual rights means nothing, they can easily disregard them. also they are accused doing industrial espionage and they re engineer a lot of shit and they have stolen enough. [x][x]. They have the capacity to both develop and manufacture if it ever comes to that and they will be making a lot of companies who invented the technologies out of business.
Countries which are not near china have nothing to gain from supporting poor countries except US which keeps a naval presence in trade routes but even for them why would they risk a war with China? China also has supporters in the region like Pakistan and they investing in lot of countries, especially those who are in cross with countries they are bullying.
International community might successful pressurizing them but ultimately all these countries will have to have strong Navy to keep China away. China is commie nation. Their government does not have to care about public backlash or anything. They can do whatever they want. They do not see things in perspective as outsiders do.
I care about it because I live and was born here, and also these problems are not just 'diplomatic affairs' it wll affect you in any way, especially business. So whether you have a say on it or not, it will have a domino effect in the businessI am the type of guy who is cool as long as no bomb is hitting my doorstep and my business is flowing... It can happen across the street or wherever I don't care...
OTT: I don't use "We" on my country, it's a piece of land. As a businessman wherever my business shines that's my new home. I don't care much my country's diplomatic affairs personally enough to develop the "I hate such and such country" attitude...as long as the economy doesn't affect my cash flow...
There are very country proud guys here, e.g Narushima, SlimReaper etc. Good for them there's absolutely nothing wrong with that(my GF is the same). I don't share the same sentiment. I have a nomad attitude in life.
Chinese are the one who's not coming into terms whatever the diplomatic ways you talk to themThere are those who think the rule of law in international relations does not apply to great powers. I reject that view. International law is a great equalizer among states. It allows small countries to stand on an equal footing with more powerful states. Those who think that "might makes right" have it backwards. It is exactly the opposite, in that right makes might.
Yes, Philippines won the decision on papers. The question is, who will enforce it militarily?
China and the Philippines has a strong business relations even long before the Spanish Conquistador Fernando Magellan discovered the Philippines. War will bring nothing but risk to all Asian countries involved. Philippines should come into terms with China, perhaps start a joint exploration that could benefit both countries.
The Philippines and its people should be reminded that these are no longer the Chinese farmers they fought in the Korean War. Thus, a win-win situation should be the top most consideration.
The Chinese Foreign Minister said that the Philippine Government bribed the Arbitrators. The naysayer, blatantly announced to world that the Arbitrators were all Japanese.Chinese are the one who's not coming into terms whatever the diplomatic ways you talk to them
