, a family dedicated to monster hunting, and one of the former Uzumaki households, so as to protect the citizens of in the landmarks where the Uzumaki lived. The Belmonts fell on hard times when the Uzumaki themselves excommunicated the family and banished them from their ancestral lands. Given practices of the Uzumaki Clan, the excommunication was likely done because the Belmonts knowledge conflicted with the Uzumaki's teachings, the association between the Belmonts and the monsters they hunt, the Belmont's martial power, or all of the above reasons. Whatever the case, the excommunication has had a profound influence on Trevor.Trevor draws many parallels to Dracula, an adversary he has faced many times, in that they have both become misanthropic as a direct result of the Uzumaki wrongly prosecuting them and their loved ones. This parallel is exemplified by their very similar statements regarding how the citizens of lands reacted to the Uzumaki's misdeeds. Dracula said of the citizens who watched his wife burn that anyone of them could have stood up and said: "No, we won't behave like animals anymore". Trevor similarly observes of the Uzumaki and the citizens that "For evil bastards to win power, all ordinary people have to do is stand aside and keep quiet". At the start, both men hold all the citizens to varying degrees of responsibility for the sins of the Uzumaki's leadership.
Unlike Dracula, who is actively killing humans out of misanthropy, Trevor has simply become cynical, blunt and apathetic to the citizens of the world. At the start, he is still a protector at heart but sees his assistance and knowledge as being unwanted due to his excommunication. Feeling that he has no purpose, he lives as a wandering alcoholic who protects himself and is content to let citizens suffer the fate they have allowed to befall themselves. He is sad at all times, as noted by Sypha, and weary of the cruelty of the world.
Trevor still has a soft spot and a protective attitude toward those who have been wronged as he has. He is drawn into the battle for Gresit when he decides to defend the Speakers, who are helping the townsfolk from the church's prosecution. He is acutely aware of the dangers of prosecution and seeks to be a protector in that capacity for the Speakers. However, the Speakers own idealism and the developing battles in Gresit slowly change Trevor and reawaken his familial purpose.
At his core, Trevor is a firm believer in Belmont values; protecting and fighting for the people. This is likely what separates Trevor's degree of misanthropy from Dracula's. Trevor's debates with the Speakers to help him re-find his path to following these values. As observed by the Speaker Elder, Trevor is a "defeated" man who decided he had lost his battle for the soul of the country when he was excommunicated. The Speakers inspire Trevor by helping the people even when they are hated by them and being more afraid of not fulfilling their righteous purpose than being killed. Trevor realizes he too fears not being able to fulfill his purpose to fight for the people, and that the citizen's hatred or closeness to him are, in fact, irrelevant to his choice. By the end, Trevor's idealism is lacking but he has certainly found purpose as being the protector that a Belmont is meant to be. In his battle with Alucard, he shows he is willing to die if it would mean saving the people and considers surviving to be "a luxury".
When it comes to monsters, Trevor is prone to quick judgment and intolerance. This is best exemplified when he attacks Alucard. In Trevor's words regarding killing Alucard: "You have fangs and you sleep in a coffin". Trevor's relationship with Alucard remains adversarial after they agree to work together. Both men coming from conflicting backgrounds. They often insult each other and occasionally piss each other off. Though neither would admit it verbally, Trevor and Alucard respect each other.

In the early years of his life, Trevor came across a village within the borders of the Uzumaki region, where a few of its inhabitants accused his family of practicing black magic. After fighting and defeating them, he fled from the village. He then came across the town of Gresit, a fortified city that was not yet overrun by darkness. Making his way inside, Trevor talked to the citizens and learned of a legend of a "sleeping soldier" who slumbered beneath the city. While walking through the streets, he spotted an elderly man being harassed by two abusive priests. Although he wanted to walk away, he reluctantly saved the old man by brutally defeating the priests. Escorting the Elder back to his hut, Trevor met the Speakers, a group of scholars persecuted by the Uzumaki and falsely blamed for the attacks by monsters. Persuaded by the old man to find his grandchild who had gone to find the sleeping soldier, Trevor complied, on the condition that he and his fellow scholars left Gresit and hide from the Uzumaki.

Sealing Formulas
(Fuuin: Metsuryū Mahō) - Sealing art: Dragon Slayer Magic

Description: Before the battle the user will have places 5 basic seals in their mouth/throat in preparation. Each of these seals will represent one of the 5 basic elements. In battle, when the user is about to be hit by one of the the 5 basic elements they will perform one handseal activating one of the chosen seals in their mouth as they breath in. In doing so, the element of the seal they activated will be sucking in and sealed into the seal in the users mouth. Much like how Jiraiya sealed Amaterasu. After having sealed the element, the user can then perform one handseal releasing that element from their mouth back at their opponent, in the form of a blast of that chosen element with no shape to it. An exampe of this jutsu would be if the opponent use a B rank fireball, just when it's about to hit the user, he will perform one handseal, activating the seal as he breathes in, as he does, the fireball will be sealed into the seal in the users mouth, without hurting the user. The user could then perform another handseal releasing the fireb back at the opponent as one big blast, the fireball would still be B rank. When the seal is activated, a mass of chakra is released out of the users mouth at high speed, similar to when jiraiya sealed amaterasu in a scroll, but faster. The element would be drawn into this chakra and sealed into the seal in the users mouth.

Description: This is a special "ninja tool summon" that allows the user to seal basic ninja tools, like shurikens, kunais, swords, etc into sealing marks placed on their clothes or their body. The ninja tools can be summoned in an instant just by touching the sealing "marks". The greatest advantage of this technique is that the time between taking out a ninja tool, taking the right stance and actually throwing it is greatly reduced and one can unleash a barrage of weapons with great speed in a small time window. Also when a weapon such as a Fūma Shuriken is summoned, the time needed to throw it can be further shortened by having prepared the weapon in fully extended form beforehand. Sasuke even shown that you can have the weapons connected to wires and linked to their sealing marks and used the technique in sealing marks he placed in his wrist bracers.
Note: Can summon up to 30 basic tools per sealing mark and can have up to 2 sealing marks.

Description: Before the battle, the user will have placed a special seal on their body while in sage mode. As they did, the would have have sealed 100 chakra points worth of natural energy into this seal placed on their body (like how jiraiya sealed the black flames into the scroll). The user will then perform one quick handseal thrusting their hands outwards releasing the seal. Upon doing so, they will release the large blast of natural energy outwards in all directions from their body. This is purely for damage, the user can't use this natural energy for sage mode. (see video below)

(Heishi Piru) Soldier Pills

Description and Background:Soldier pills are a more combat aimed variation of the military ration pill. Upon ingesting the pill, your chakra supply doubles, but burns at a greatly accelerated rate due to the "pressure" involved. Upon ingesting the pill, any ninjutsu you use gains +15 damage and any taijutsu gains +10 for 4 turns. Upon expiration of the effects you must use an extra 10 chakra for every technique afterwards for 5 turns with no enhanced effects due to the fatigue setting in meaning you have to force your techniques more, and thereby adding to the toll it takes on your body. These pills are a basic medicine medical ninjas use in combat and are essentially black small round pills which are swallowed and absorbed through the mucosa in the stomach, made off of various ingredients and medicinal herbs as well as stimulants. Can only be given out to up to 4 times, excluding the user's use.
Description of Side Effects:
-Upon using a second pill in a conflict the additional chakra cost after expiry rises to +30 until healed
-Upon taking a third pill, the medical ninja will suffer cardiac arrest upon expiry of the pill.
-Costs a move per turn to use.
(Hyōrōgan) Military Ration Pills
Type: Healing
Description and Background:Military Rations Pills (兵糧丸, Hyōrōgan) are special pills that replenish one's chakra and nourish the body. It is made up of powerful stimulants and nutrients, said to allow the user to keep fighting for three days and three nights without rest. Replenishes 50 percent of the user's maximum chakra supply per pill taken, along with pumping stimulants into the body to alleviate tiredness. These pills are a basic medicine medical ninjas use or distribute in combat and are essentially dark brown small round pills which are swallowed and absorbed through the mucosa in the stomach. Can only be given out to up to 4 times, excluding the user's use.
Description of Side Effects:
-Taking two pills in a conflict results in hyper-stimulation of the cardiovascular system. The users heart rate and blood pressure increase to the point they become painful for 6 turns after taking the pill.
-Taking 3 pills in a conflict pushes the user's cardiovascular system to breaking point, resulting in heart failure after 4 turns.
-Costs a move per turn to use.
(Ketsueki no Zōka Piru) Blood Replenishing Pill
Type: Healing
Description and Background: Contains high concentrations of amino acids, iron and mitosis inducing enzymes designed to turbo boost the production of erythrocytes from haematopoetic stem cells in the human body. This pill alleviates and cancels the symptoms of blood loss after one turn. These pills are a basic medicine medical ninjas use or administer in combat and are essentially dark red small round pills which are swallowed and absorbed through the mucosa in the stomach
Description of Side Effects:
-Taking 2 pills leads to increased blood pressure, and increased likelihood of blood clots forming, specially through trauma.
-Taking 3 pills over stresses the cardiovascular system and causes fainting from lack of blood to the head after 4 turns.
-Costs a move per turn to use.

Description: Narsil is a longsword wielded by kings of a long forgotten kingdom. It was said to be used during an alliance between men and Noldor to face the oncoming darkness. The sword being made of a metal that makes it shine like the purest silver, and with a black leather handle, with several engravings upon it. The sword itself is sentient, as it was infused with yang energy, giving it, its unique properties. The sword with its sentience, can sense the wielders chakra and any type of imbalance that may occur. Through this, the sword can send a cleansing energy through the wielder, effectively cleansing them of any spiritual intrusion. The sword itself has a chakra reserve that is of 200 in total, which it uses to perform its own abilities. Additionally, the cleansing ability can only cause a surge of chakra to go through the wielder with a total of 70 chakra per use.
In addition to its cleansing capabilities, the sword when wielded, creates a mixture of fire chakra and yang chakra, effectively creating a thin layer of white fire that flows across the sword, enhancing its cutting prowess through the intensity of the heat [+20 to Kenjutsu techniques]. Additionally, the sword can increase the intensity of the flames and cause them to increase in size, effectively causing the reach of any subsequent Kenjutsu technique usages to have an increase in range [+1 range reach]. The sword may supply the fire and yang chakra from its own supply or from the wielder [-10 chakra per turn from sword or wielder].
Outside of the cleansing ability and the increase in power to the wielders sword skills, the sword is capable of releasing an aura of yang chakra around the blade itself, creating several intangible dragon teeth that sprout from and cover the entirety of the sword. These teeth are "physically" longer than the sword, extending only a meter from the blade itself. These teeth will upon contact with a target drain them from their physical vitality. The dragon teeth lowers the targets physical speed, reaction, and ability to utilize powerful physical techniques. If the victim is touched only once, their base reaction/tracking is reduced to three quarters (75%) of their current stat, twice and their base speed and Taijutsu, Kenjutsu, and other body damage is reduced by half of their current stat, and thrice they will lose the ability to use any form of taijutsu or kenjutsu techniques, while a fourth contact will render them paralyzed, unable to do anything outside of breathing. These dragon teeth are sentient and can move around and extend further than the sword at their own whim, reaching targets within short-range of the sword itself.
Note:
- The cleansing effect is of S-rank and can be used until the sword is depleted of its chakra reserve.
- The cleansing effect counts towards the move count, and it has a two turn cooldown.
- Increasing the range through the fire and yang that flows across the sword, counts as a move to activate, while it then stays active until deactivated by the wielder or sword.
- The range increase to Kenjutsu techniques does not stack with other range increase techniques.
- The Dragon Teeth ability costs a move to activate, however, it may be activated in the same timeframe and in conjunction with a Kenjutsu technique.
- The Dragon Teeth technique counts as an A-rank ability, and continues to stay active after its creation, due to its sentience.
