It reminds me of FFX. Where a chosen guardian becomes the Final Aeon for their summoner and is used to defeat Sin only to become the next Sin. It's a never ending cycle...until Yuna broke it. However, Sin still manages to return even without the use of the Final Aeon in FFX -Will-. I call BS.
