In the state of Florida 10 day out of school suspension is the maximum punishment for highschoolers..that means he was 1 step away from expulsion..meaning what he did to get that punishment was bad..

you dont hear of AP students getting suspended from school and getting shot for a reason...
Also you dont wear a hoodie up in 85 degree weather in broad daylight in a heavily vandalized and crime active neighborhood...

The reason the law was changed was because Burglars were getting shot and suing the shooters for personal injury..even though they were tresspassing in someones house.

Marco Rubio being the gun monger that he is, changed the law so that someone defending themself in their own home is free from wrongful prosecution. Zimmerman knew that law and used it to his advantage after his face was repeatedly slammed into the concrete.

BUT he will go to jail because after that altercation he STALKED trayvon and shot him in the back of the head..which is Not defensible under CASTLE LAW..

I heard about that...

I live in orlando, 15 minutes from Sanford, not 1 protest here... the only people outraged are the Media Mongers like Al Sharpton looking to further their own media and political agendas, preying off the ignorant white folks who want to act like they care so they dont get labeled a racist.

The real culprit is Senator Marco Rubio who changed the self defense law a couple years ago in the state of Florida to the "Castle Law" which makes anyone who kills someone close to their home/inside their home and claims "self defense" free from persecution..Needless to say there have been over 200 unanswered murders the last couple years in the name of Castle Law.


Thats the story behind the story people refuse to recognize..
Also Trayvon was a little jit..fighting at school etc, unneccessary loss of life is always sad, but the media and black population are making him out to be the next civil rights martyr which couldnt be further from the truth. If he wasnt suspended, he would have been leaving school to go get skittles and watch the NBA all star game..not wandering through neighborhoods where he shouldnt have been looking sketch as f u c k.

Also Zimmerman called the cops over 400 times last year, the cops didnt want to respond right away because they assumed it was another one of his bogus calls, so blame the Sanford police department as well.

I live in Jersey, and there's shootings all the time here, and they are always on the news for 1 day with a quick 30 second segment and thats it. This is just media hype for ratings. In an election year. I think self defense laws in Florida are good, you should be able to shoot someone threatening you. Did this kid deserve to get shot? I can't say I wasn't there. For all we know he could have been trying to rob the guy pretending to have a gun in his pocket, or maybe he was completely innocent and shot in cold blood. Once some other big news trend hits this will be forgotten, like the other 15,000+ murders that happen in the US every year.

zimmerman disfollowed orders even though he was ordered not to. also, he wasnt even supposed to be carrying a gun.
