Transplanting eyes.

Ok we all know there are a few people wit transplanted eyes in naruto. The whole uchiha clan can do it, Kakashi, madara, sasuke, Danzo and a couple more. But transplanting a eye means taking yours out and placing the new eye in. So what if itachi gave sasuke he's eyes and sasuke gave he's eyes to itachi they would both have EMS right?
So instead of killing your bother you could just give each other there eyes

You need 4 eyes for 2 Eternal Mangekyou's so in this case one of the two will see nothing cuz he doesn't have eyes.. xD

They're eyes need to fuse together, I think. That's why both the big brother and the younger brother's mangekyou eye design, when transplanted, forms together into the new eye creating a new eye design consisting of both the previous siblings mangekyou.

How in the heck, if the new eye fuses with the old, did Madara accidentally come across this discovery? (I see how this would have to be since it would have been too simple to just have siblings swap eyes and you wouldn't have a story) Do you think he was all "Forgive me!" ripping out his brother's eyes and then in his agonized stupor started slapping his brother's eyeball against his own and somehow one swallowed the other like a fetus would absorb a twin in the womb?

Perhaps Kishi avoided this step on purpose to keep the comic from getting stupid, in the same way that Micheal Crichton skipped a few steps in his explanation for dinosaur cloning when he wrote Jurassic Park. He couldn't figure out how they would even make dna and then get it in the egg so he said he skipped it.
