[Suggestion] *********** translation.

I would like to bring something into the admins/mods attention.
I would like to suggest that NarutoBase take the translations from ***********.

I don't know what kind of deal is with MangaPanda and I am sorry if I stick my nose where I shouldn't but my suggestion is done on the following reasons:

1. *********** translations are better, from the grammar point of view.
2. Given the better translations, people would better understand the newer chapter.
3 Because the translations are better, it will decrease the number of spamming threads about the confusion and, as well other translation and not only.

Given today's example, where MangaPanda's translation was crap, sorry to say it, this made people to come with numerous threads on the same subject because of the confusion.

As well, afterwards numerous threads were done to let people know about the *********** translation. After people made once again, numerous threads to let other know about the wrong translations and about the fact that what Naruto has done was not use a new jutsu.

So, I fairly believe that by taking the *********** translation, incidents like these will not happen, the spamming threads about the above mentioned confusions will not exist and this way, admins/mods will have lesser spam to delete, leading to saving some space for NB.

This was a fair suggestion. Hope it won't be minded.

LE: IF you're talking about the Ino/Hinata combo, the subject was just to show a team-work between two Konoha 11 members, not about Naruto's jutsu or anything like that.
And I ensured before if there was a thread done on the subject.

I would love to see this happen. No matter how many times the *********** link gets posted in the predictions thread, people still rant about the wrong translation. Normally the translation isn't too far off but today's snafu with what Naruto says at the end is gonna spawn many ill-informed threads I fear

Mangapanda is the first one to come out with the translations each week. *********** is like 4 hours late to release the manga. As such we use the scans from mangapanda. So far whatever has been mentioned by other members in this thread is bull-crap.

The thing we can do is, use the mangapanda translation in the immediate aftermath of release and switch to the better *********** version for the rest of the week. But this will mean more work for Versuvio.

We used to get our stuff through ***********, but that all changed due to legal reasons.

Can we just do with what we have now? Makes things a lot easier so we can get our manga on time.

Yeah, the translations they do put people on confusion all the times so the forum gets crowded with many threads because of that confusion.
Then the come again with the newer threads so on and so forth...

In my opinion, this would mean less work for the mods as they won't have to keep closing threads after threads to keep NB clean.

Since then, NarutoBase hasn't been using their chapters. However, in the odd case, NarutoBase has used ***********'s pages; for example, NarutoBase used their release for chapter 594. This was due to Mangareader being seriously late with their release.

As for all the other assumptions in this thread about paying/contracts and what not. Ignore it. It's not true.

Just like -S- said, there were some legal issues some months ago, NB had to find an alternate source and i guess they just didn't swap back. Anymore questions like this just PM an admin.

Yes we all know that MS has simply the highest quality scans and one of the best translations. However don't forget that a while ago MS stopped with scanning because not only were they the best, they were also one of the fastest and as a result almost everyone used their scanlations. MS didn't really like that, so they stopped scanlating completely. After a lot of pressure they decided to start scanlating again, however only 12 to 24 hours after another group already scanlated it. We can't wait that long. In any case we will have to upload the earliest version as we really can't afford to wait that long. A bad translation is still better than nothing.

Then of course we still could re-upload the MS version when it comes out and remove the earlier version. The problem with that is that we then actually go against the wishes of MS. A few weeks ago one of the admins had done that, but as a reaction someone made a thread complaining about it, that we couldn't do that.

So we are stuck. A few weeks ago people complained that we used the MS version, now people want that we use them =/ Yes I prefer MS far above all the other scan groups, but I'm also not in the mood to get into a potential conflict with MS.

We will se what we can do.
