That came off more as she won't be a afraid like the last time she saw Madara.

Naruto does love her, it's canon (and I do not support her with anyone in Naruto) and his big heart can get in the way. We saw it happen with Sasuke too.

I just wish instead of a "Naruto saves her, she worries about Sasuke caring because she doesn't trust him and wants to believe he's still good", could have been a teamwork attack instead. The moment I saw that scene I said "Kishi... what are you doing? You just increased the pairing wars..." lol

I am not doubting whether Naruto loves her or not. I am just really hesitant on saying which moments have emotional value. I go to pairing pages a lot and they try to find romantic value in literally everything. I don't get a lot of it and some of it seems a bit stretched so until its right in my face I take things at face value and don't read too much into them.

Kishimoto likes to hint stuff and this was just not the time or place for it, but he did hint the triangle again. Focusing on the fight instead would have been much better in my opinion.

I know he hints at it a lot, I wish he would hint that much about Sasuke. I still don't know much more about his motives than I did when he first came to the battefield. Anyway, it kinda sucks that kishi pumped up the Team 7 nostalgia so much and ended the moment so quickly and made it very lack luster.

I know, it was like he was trying to bring back the old days of Team 7, but instead of showing what all 3 can do now it was the same antics of the past. And he's keeping Sasuke's true intentions in the dark, making me feel like Sakura does. I don't trust him, I doubt his intentions and he is not the same anymore.

Yeah, I could begin to see how this was supposed to be like the bell test

As far as Sasuke there are only a few things I can say for certain about him.

1. If it were his current mind set. If he had to kill Naruto to achieve his goal he would do it.

2. Madara being indra as well is Kishi's way of giving a contrast between Sasuke and Madara. I think Sasuke is gonna have a one on one against Madara and that will lead to Sasuke having a moment of self reflection. Because of this Sasuke will have another character shift of sorts in which he doubts his own course and challenges Naruto.

3. Losing to Naruto will be what breaks Sasuke's current mindset completely

Can you show me the VIZ scan where she look at Sasuke and she says something like: "<he doesn't seem to care...> It's ok..."

Thanks!

You got even viz translations and you still could not interpret that right.

It is probably in reference as to how Sasuke doesn't even seem worried as about her being stabbed. Its nice that in the very next page it focuses on Sasuke's Rinnengan and how he was being preoccupied by Madara's shadows

People seem to overlook that it was in her plan to get hit. She has the regeneration on so a hit like that means nothing. That and the fact that letting Madara land that hit means he had no method of dodging her attack. Of course he had Limbo but its kind of cheating.

Can we just be happy Kishi gave her a moment to shine somewhat? I mean yeah, she got stabbed, but she had the guts to actually try and do something which is different from the roles he's given her in the past. She knew (unless she got ripped in half or something) that her seal would protect her from most life threatening hits and yes, she shouldn't have charged without knowing all details but the fact is...Kishi is giving a female some shine time! Lets be happy :)

i really don't see how this is supposed to contradict her saying she would create a diversion :erm:

She said she would create a diversion.

She charges in and Sasuke follows. Naruto does not because he does not want to see Sakura in that position.

It's possible Sasuke didn't give 2 craps OR (as was shown later in the chapter) he was attempting to defend her from the shadows that only his Rinnegan can see.

Without seeing it in flowing animation I really can't make the call because it looked like he could have chopped her in two but in the next page he's like "Grrr shadows!"

Either way, Sakura assumes it's because he literally does not care whether she lives or dies which may/may not be accurate. It's pretty clear from the scans that his mind was on watching Madara's shadows.

Her getting stabbed is really non-sequitur. As long as the 3 years worth of chakra in her seal holds out she's effectively immortal.

Sakura was trying to impress Sasuke only to Him. Indifferent to Him, She still loves and wants Sasuke. Were back to square one again.
