She clearly identified as a girl from a young age, so I imagine it's unlikely that she'll regret this "decision." In all reality, it seems she never decided but was born with that mentality.

It's a personal choice for the girl. There's nothing wrong with it, though I do think that actual surgery shouldn't be allowed until the child turns eighteen.

Reading the comments in this thread gave me a headache

I am happy that she was able to become the person she wanted to. People shouldn't have to live their lives dictated by others beliefs. It will only lead to unhappiness and misery in the end of the day.
