Appearing in flash of blazing flames, I step forth as I stretch my arms and crack my neck as if I was warming up. The terrain was mountainous and bare which was quite ideal for the training that was about to commence. Watching my student I smirk before beginning to talk. "So, tell me all you know about the lightning element. What properties does it carry, what are its effects on the body, what forms have been seen in the manga, who are some prominent users, what are its strengths, its weaknesses, etc.... Tell me all that you now."

The Lighting Element, otherwise known as Raiton is element which manipulates lighting created via chakra. It has the properitesi to shock, electrocute, paralyze, sometimes induce heat, and basically fry people if they are wet. Lighting Release makes up a multitude of other elements in the anime such as Storm Release, Dark Release, Swift Release, and I think Black Lighting. The most prominent users are most likely the ones from Kumogakure such as Darui, A, Third Raikage, and Sasuke and Kakashi are good with lighting as well. Its weak to wind because I think wind doesn't allow it to form or whatever but its strong to earth cause its able to cut through earth with ease. Chidori, Kirin, Lighting Armor are examples of jutsu that utilize lighting and yeah thats all i know so far. Lol

"Nicely done and well put. With lightning you must remember that it can be created primarily in a focused or unfocused manner. Focused lightning tends to be more precise and can sometimes carry hardened properties while unfocused lightning tends to be more spread out and radial carrying paralyzing qualities. Oh, and wind is an insulator to lightning, meaning lightning can't conduct through it and that is why ration is weak to wind. Are you ready for training?"

"Lol, don't worry about it. Lightning is neutral to lightning so I guess you'll have to use that." I said jokingly before summoning my students first training scroll before throwing it over to him. "I want you to try out each method of my training. One method for one jutsu."

In order to perform this jutsu you must mold your lightning chakra at certain parts of the body, primarily limbs and mouth, and upon releasing it you will be able to create small bolts of lightning sent towards the target.
Molding your lightning chakra in your hands you will then slam them on the ground as you release the chakra creating a surge of lightning that travels across the ground to their targets feet where it will then shock them.
Swinging your arm horizontally across your body while releasing lightning chakra from your palms, you are able to release a wave of lightning bolts at the target that will pierce into them upon contact.
