Alright, so without going to the wiki, here is my definition of what Taijutsu is. Taijutsu is basically combat with the body, so using everything that just your body provides to fight. Which means using your hands to punch, legs to kick and etc. In the narutoverse, where chakra exists, the ninjas use chakra to further enhance their Taijutsu capabilities, that means using chakra to deliver strong blows like Tsunade and Sakura or graceful, yet deadly palms like the Hyuga clan. However, to perform Taijutsu, you don't need chakra although some advanced technique will require chakra and then there is the EIG where Taijutsu becomes awesome. The thing about Taijutsu is that it's literally the bread and butter of the shinobi, everyone uses it and requires no hand seals to perform so it much quicker to snap a neck than to launch a 10+ hand seal water dragon. Rock Lee and Might Guy were the best Taijutsu users in the series and yah that's all I know.

Bread and butter... I like that.
Taijutsu is, as you mentioned, usually split between the kind that requires chakra and the kind that doesn't. The kind that does is powerful, but you also can't combine it with Ninjutsu at the same time since, you know, you're already basically using Ninjutsu, also you can't use two techniques simultaneously. The kind that doesn't, however... that's where things get interesting in my opinion.
Now, snapping a neck is easy if you know what to do and on NB it gets easier still; a single good hit will incapacitate your opponent and, thus, that's the hit we're going for. That's what we fight for. We just need to make contact once to make things count.

The canon list of Taijutsu techniques is full of different stuff, but mainly you'll find basic techniques, many among them who do not require chakra. Consider how useful these are and their infinite potential if they're combined with good Nin techniques.

Now, first of all there's D-ranked techniques. They're the bottom of the barrel, sure, but there's still merit in knowing, analyzing and even using them sometimes... though I've never really made use of them in battle. There are better alternatives, but, eh, still. You know how it goes.

The kick, slap and punch techniques are sooooo basic, but with enough power their versatility shines through. You can slap, kick and punch in a million different ways. Anyway; pick out a technique and analyze it for me.

Sure thing.

(Dainamikku Entori) - Dynamic Entry

Rank: D
Type:Attack
Range:Short
Chakra Cost:N/A
Damage Points:20
Description:A taijutsu attack were the user does a jumping kick into the opponents face.

How could I not pick this technique, the famed and ridiculous technique of Might Guy and then later Rock Lee. As you mentioned these are the most basic techniques in the D Rank and this one isn't an exception. User first jump at their intended target, raises their most dominant leg forward and the other leg pulled back. So basically a jumping kick. The intended target receives the kick to their face. ;D

Dynamic Entry is nice, but there's also some danger to performing it. In performing a jumping kick you sacrifice your most valuable asset; your mobility. You cannot change direction in mid-air. An opponent has to only dodge your attack and then attack you while you're airborne to make your day a lot worse.
Still, these are the kinds of techniques that I'm talking about; no chakra cost, no rigid movements and no excessive amount of steps. You will only get to land one hit, if any, in this game. Flashy combinations will do you more harm than good.

Anyway, you've done as I asked. Now put it to the test. I want you to take one of these techniques on the list and explain a couple of different ways that it can be used. I've stressed versatility. Show it to me.

(Konoha Reppū) - Leaf Gale
Rank: D
Type: Attack
Range: Short
Chakra Cost: N/A
Damage Points:20
Description: This technique is a good example of how even simple taijutsu can become a pre-eminently destructive, lethal technique. The attack is a simple rear spinning low kick, but a strong enough user can send a large adult flying as if they weighed nothing. The goal is to throw the enemy off balance, and deal damage to the lower half of their body.

So basically this technique allows the user to do a rear spinning low kick, interesting part about it is that it can send a large adult flying "as if they weighted nothing". So this technique emphasizes the sheer lethal power it has, then goes on to mention its goal is throw an enemy off balance as well. What I got from this description is this technique can either be used to send your opponent flying, throw them off balance and you probably can kick some physical objects that come your way as well, like low ranked earth projectiles, kunai and other weapons.

Certainly, but be careful in using Taijutsu against Ninjutsu. Very careful.
But yes, it is possible to only execute the first part of a technique, though this particular kick has only one part; the spinning rear kick.

Now, before me move onto C-ranks; take one of the techniques (not punch, or slap, etc) and perform it. Take your pick.

(Konoha Senpū) - Leaf Hurricane
Rank: D
Type: Attack
Chakra Cost: N/A
Damage Points: 20
Description: A taijutsu where one launches a succession of high kicks and low kicks. Firstly, the opponent's evasion margin is restrained upon seeing the high kick, thus augmenting the chances for the low kick to hit the mark connecting to the rib cage area. So originally the high kick is little more than a feint.

Lance walks onto the plain grassy field, he plants both of his feet down onto the grass, his left leg was positioned back and the side of his right foot was facing his opponent. He pushes off his left leg, accelerating towards his opponent and then quickly jumping and spinning to extend his left leg to kick his opponent in the chest. Upon landing the hit, he does a sweeping kick towards his opponent's legs intending to get him off balance.

I'm gonna be honest, I couldn't really work out this technique well because the description is poorly worded. So I looked the fight this was in (Lee vs Kimimaro) and tried to imitate that while adding a little bit of my own flavor.

That technique is, indeed, a little opaque. The thing is that it only works if the opponent actually evades with a crouch or a similar movement. It's trying to compensate for that in the description, but really not doing a very good job of it.
Your first kick would probably push your opponent backwards, thus making your second kick very hard to complete without ending up in a very awkward position. Consider the effect of your actions on your opponent and his opportunities in your execution.

Now, C-ranks. Pick out a technique and analyze it for me.
