Appearing in a puff of smoke Guy would notice a man stepping from it. He was young, handsome, and wealthy and for some reason he came to the training with two guuuuuuuuuuuuuuuurls, one underneath each arm. Using one of his arms to take off his shades Kagura smiles at Guy after flipping his luscious red hair out of his face, sparkles being seen in the air as he does so. "So, tell me all you know about the lightning element. What properties does it carry, what are its effects on the body, what forms have been seen in the manga, who are some prominent users, what are its strengths, its weaknesses, etc...."

Lightning is one of the basic five elements involved with nature transformation of chakra. It is strong against earth, but weak against wind. The properties of this nature is that the chakra is vibrated to extremely high frequencies in order to have stronger piercing damage and faster movement. When used on the user, the user can effectively increase their speed and reflexes by augmenting lightning throughout their body. Alternatively, the user can use this on himself or others in order to paralyze or stun the target. One such reason for performing a technique like that on yourself would be to dispel a genjutsu. Now when it comes forms of the nature, there have been several. One, which is extremely powerful is black lightning. Now there is actually two types of black lightning. One derived from a KKG, where some users are Darui and the Third Raikage. The next is senjutsu/curse mark/rikudo chakra infused to the element. Sasuke Uchiha has shown examples of this type of form. Additionally, lightning can be both natural or from the user. Kirin, a technique that uses pure lightning from storms, is effectively stronger than normal lightning as the speed is not dependent on the chakra of the user. Lightning can be shaped still, rather than being a stream. Some examples are the chidori which utilizes shape transformation to keep it steady and more advanced Raikiri. Prominent users of this nature would be Sasuke Uchiha, Kakashi Hatake, and the 3rd and 4th Raikage. Lightning release is also common amongst Kumogakure ninjas.

"Good good. Black lightning isn't a KG. It's a special ability that can be utilized by few. Also lightning can be utilized in various forms and in various ways. It can be released unfocused, focused, or even in solid like states forming structures. I have even seen lightning style utilized through special rocks from the ground. It is a very cool and creative style, and now it will be one you can utilize too." Swinging down my hand a kunai slides out from my sleeve into my hand and I throw it at Guy and it travels fast. "I want you to channel your chakra into the kunai and throw it at that tree in front of you. Your goal is to make the kunai pierce into the tree and exit the back. Hehe, the thing is you wont achieve this with normal chakra so you'll need to transform its nature to that of lightnings. As you mold your chakra you need try to make it as sharp and thin as possible. It needs to vibrate. If you don't get it on the first try then use your own kunai till you get it."

Might Guy grabs the kunai thrown by his senpai and listens to his instructions. When he finishes, Guy holds the kunai tightly in a fist and screams.
"YOSH! Right away sir! And if I don't get it right the first time, I'll do 1,000 upside down jumping jacks after our lesson. And I'll add 500 for every time I miss!"
Might Guy then gives his signature smile and thumbs up pose. He turns to a tree and begins focusing his chakra into the kunai. He concentrates further and further and then suddenly drops the chakra after a quick shock went through his hand. Determined, he tried once more, this time surging the chakra through the kunai and throwing it at the tree. As it is thrown, Guy smiles confidently. The kunai goes hits the tree and goes through... and stays stuck on the tree.
"Uhh... But of course, I only did that to force myself to train. Ha ha ha! Now let's try one more time!"
Guy then tries once more and small sparks begin to appear on the kunai. He focuses more and more on it and the sparks begin to become more controlled and flowing. He then throws the kunai and it goes straight through the tree.
"Woohoo!"

Realizing which lightning techniques have solidified structures and which ones are just unfocused currents can be the difference in countering an earth jutsu wrong or not regardless if it's weaker as an element. "Alright!" I said enthusiastically. "I'm going to explain these jutsu you and I want you to follow directions and listen closely."
Explain one jutsu in your own words and perform another. Fill out this template for the remaining jutsu.
In order to perform this jutsu you must mold your lightning chakra at certain parts of the body, primarily limbs and mouth, and upon releasing it you will be able to create small bolts of lightning sent towards the target.
Molding your lightning chakra in your hands you will then slam them on the ground as you release the chakra creating a surge of lightning that travels across the ground to their targets feet where it will then shock them.
Swinging your arm horizontally across your body while releasing lightning chakra from your palms, you are able to release a wave of lightning bolts at the target that will pierce into them upon contact.

Guy nods and begins moulding chakra in his hand. He then slams his open palm to the ground and sends a stream of lightning chakra straight towards a tree branch in front of him. The tree branch revives the shock and jolts slightly from the electrical pulse.
"Incredible! This is a great technique to use against opponents who are racing towards me. A problem though is the technique has to travel through a medium, being the floor, so it is totally useless in the air. I have a question though, do I have to use my hand to slam into the ground? Can I use my feet instead, such as if my arms were somehow unable to be used?"

"Nope, once the jutsu says slam your hand then you must slam your hand, no exceptions. You did good on performing the jutsu and all but I wanted you to explain another one not the same one you performed. Since it's your first mishap no worries, but read the instructions carefully next time, because even in battle, key details are important to a successful counter." I then touch a seal in my jacket that summons a scroll that I throw over to you.

After performing three hand seals you can use this jutsu to create an electrical current from your hand that spreads to great distances as it travels. This lightning current can travel in the air and as long as you are still streaming it you can use it to hit multiple targets or avoid counters so the jutsu is very versatile.
After placing your hand on a medium, or aiming your hand at your opponent you will be able to release a wave of electricity powerful enough to deliver small shocks to the opponent. This jutsu is very cool and versatile because of its characteristics when used with water.
A cool jutsu that can be used to attack and defend at once if used to defend against taijutsu, but other than that this jutsu allows you to create an electrical armor that surrounds the body electrocuting anyone who comes in contact with it. I wouldn't use this armor to defend against solid objects other than earth tho since the electricity has no solid propertise.

"Forgive me sensei! For my foolishness, I'll be sure to climb a mountain using my feet only and no chakra control! And I will get it right this time!"
Guy then nods and gives an intense look.
"Now this technique is an all range multi-targeting type attack. After performing three hand seals, this attack releases a stream or streams of lightning chakra that can be directed towards targets. So long as the user keeps the stream going with their chakra, the attack continuously occurs. The stream of chakra can also be manipulated to avoid obstacles or allies, essentially making for an attack that will land."
After finishing his explanation, Guy then performs the next technique in the scroll. He places his hand in front of him and begins to mould his chakra. After he is ready, he releases the chakra from his hand and a wave of electricity shoots out. It heads straight towards a rock formation and shatters it after it hits. Guy makes his signature pose after the successful attempt.

"Lightning wouldn't cause the earth to shatter like breaking glass, it rips through it and tears it up. Also with the lightning armor you got it backwards. If anything it will take energy based attacks as well as taijutsu and earth, but be careful with other non earth solids. Now, on to the next." Taking out a next scroll I toss it over to Guy before giving further instruction. "Use the template for these two."

After performing 2 hand seals and clapping their hands once near a cliff of some sorts the user will be able to cause the stones and rock in the earth to dislodge via electrical energy and crush anyone underneath it. This jutsu requires location and strategy placement.
Holding your hand in front of your body you will channel lightning chakra into it causing it to grow yellow before releasing bolts of lightning that spread outwards from the hand in the shape of a horn.

A cool technique that revolves around the basis of using one's lightning chakra to clone their sword. After channeling your sword with lightning chakra you will cause it to levitate in front of yourself where it will then multiply into two copies. The swords stay levitating around the user who must continuously channel chakra into them in order to maintain control.
A cool omnidirectional ground technique. The user will channel their lightning chakra to their hand to the point that electrical bolts start to emit from it. The user then slams that palm into the ground causing an electrical energy to discharge omnidirectionally in a short range radius.

Guy then looks at the earth pillar in front of him. He takes out a sword that was laying around and begins molding his lightning chakra into it. The sword then releases a duplicate sword from it, and another one as well, making a total of three swords. Guy then continues to focus and makes the three swords spin in a circle like pattern. He then shoots each of them at the same time towards the earth pillar his sensei made and cuts right through it.
"Yes!"
Guy then looks at the second earth pillar. He gets near the pillar, standing about 5 meters from it. He then molds lightning chakra in his left hand, generating small little bolts of lightning on his forearm. He then viciously slams his palm into the ground which causes a circular wave of electricity surge around him. The wave manages to hit the earth pillar and causes the pillar to crumble due to the electricity weakening the earth.
Guy then gives a hearty laugh from his successive performance.
"Haha!"
"Oh! Ok!"
Guy then looks at the earth pillar in front of him. He takes out a sword that was laying around and begins molding his lightning chakra into it. The sword then releases a duplicate sword from it, and another one as well, making a total of three swords. Guy then continues to focus and makes the three swords spin in a circle like pattern. Filled with a sudden burst of youthful energy I watch Guy intently before giving him a awesome thumbs up with a passionate wink. "You did well Guy. Good job." I then walk over to a rock and sit on top of it before continuing to speak. "We are moving pretty swift with this element. You must have a natural thing for it. Geez, we are already on B ranks." I say as I summon a scroll before throwing it over to Guy.

After giving you the scroll I discretely ease away from you as you read it, and I waited for signs that you had finished. "Think fast!" I said before waving a few hand seals and expelling a large wind projectile that resembled a spear towards you. "Use a jutsu to defend, explain one in your own words, and use the template for the other."

Another cool technique that shows you that lightning is able to be utilized defensively. This barrier isn't a physical one so certain solid techs or ninja tools can still pass through, but energy elements will clash against the lightning currents. When you are against faster opponents remember this technique if they ever rush you.
A cool technique that shows you a little of ration's versatility in terms of structure. This technique allows the user to create a half shaped dome that carries physical and paralyzing properties. The dome is pretty big and the user and enemy will still be able to see through the tech.
A simple nintaijutsu technique utilizing lightning. The user will concentrate their lightning chakra into their first, generating a sphere of pure lightning around it, which unleashes an electrical explosion upon contact.

Guy grabs the scroll and reads through it. After reading it, he puts it away and sees an incoming wind projectile similar to a spear. He quickly thinks to himself. Hmm, the first technique said it can't block against physical attacks. If that's the case, I'll stop this attack with an attack. Guy then molds his chakra and creates a half shaped dome of lightning. He then sends it forward so that it clashes with the wind spear and stops it.
"Wooh, that was a close one. Excellent teaching method sensei! Such quick movements keeps me on my toes. All this action keeps my youth alive!"
"Right, now about the other technique. This technique lets you mold your chakra into your fists. Allows the user to create several controlled lightning strikes within mid.range of the user. The technique is first triggered by releasing an electrical discharge into the sky via hand or weapon, and the lightning strikes are fast.
After performing 5 hand seals while releasing their lightning chakra into the ground, the user is able to shape and erect 4 big pillars around the target forming a square like barrier. They then release a barrage of lightning that paralyzes and shocks everything within its radius.
After performing 5 hand seals the user will generate a large amount of lightning in their hands that they will then release in an unfocused manner that passes through any conductive materials making it a versatile attack. This move is ideal to use with the appropriate tools like ninja wire. It'll allow you to capture, paralyze, and damage your target.
