Okay, as a genin you can only learn upto D-Ranks so once we finish those we'll wait until you rank up.

Tell me everything you know about water, against which elements is it strong and against which is it weak? Also take a look at this thread; and tell me against which KGs water is strong and against which it is weak.

Water is strong against Fire and it's weak against Earth.

KGs water is strong against: Storm (in some cases), Dark Release, Blast, Bugs, Sand, Sound (in some cases) and Paper Ninjutsu,

KGs water is weak against: Dust, Kaguya jutsus, Scorch, Boil, Steel, Ice, Crystal and Wood.

Water is one of the 5 basic elements and is mainly used by Kirigakure ninjas. Water is extremely versatile and can be used to attack and defend against many jutsus by either the user manipulating already existing water sources or releasing it from their mouths like Kisame did against Team Gai.

Excellent.

Let's move on to the first technique;

Rank: D
Type: Supplementary/Attack/Defence
Range: Short-Mid
Damage Points:20
Description: Creates small waves of water,small blasts, and small shields of water.
Note: Doesn't require a water source but can be used to manipulate existing water.

For this technique I want you to gather your water chakra and channel it outward to materialize water out of nowhere by using the moisture within the air. After succesfully having created the water manipulate it to form a small wave of water to knock my clone off it's feet -creates a clone- then go through the same process but instead of creating a wave shoot a blast of water from your hand to damage the knocked down clone further.

*I gather my water chakra and channel it outwards, using the moisture within the air to materialize water out of nowhere. After doing this, I manipulate the water further so that it forms a small wave which heads towards your clone as it travels on the ground and it hits your clone's feet, knocking your clone down onto the ground by making it lose it's balance. As your clone is on the ground, I then channel more of my water chakra into the palm of my right hand, using it to materialize water which I then blast off towards your clone who is already hurt and on the ground because of my first jutsu. The blast of water would hit your clone and cause him some damage whilst making him extremely wet (lol)*

Good job, though when using it in an actual fight don't expect to do much damage with a blast of water as the power behind a D-Rank is kinda puny.

Next up;

Rank: D
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short/Mid
Chakra Cost: 10
Damage Points: N/A
Description: This displacement technique creates a thick mist to spring forth by lifting up some water from either a pre-existing source or expelled from their mouth, then goes in and out of sight at will from within the pearly-white realm. The mist's thickness is controlled by the amount of chakra kneaded into it. It can't fool the Byakugan, but, due to the mist being created with the user's chakra, any Sharingan and Rinnegan-user will see the mist coloured by their opponent's chakra, which will effectively hide the user from the dōjutsu.
Note: Can be created through releasing from mouth or manipulating a nearby water source.

For this jutsu you can either lift up some water from a pre-existing water source of expel it from your mouth. Gather your water chakra within your mouth while mixing it together with your saliva. Then proceed by expelling the water chakra and materialize but not into regular water but instead materialize it into a thick mist which then spreads across the battlefield. This mist contains your chakra at all times and effectively hides you from the opponent, try it out on my clone by depriving his vision and then once you're infront of him make yourself visible and stab him with a kunai.

Name a disadvantage and an advantage of this technique and tell me how one might be able to disperse the mist quickly.

*I gather my water chakra and channel it all towards my mouth, mixing it in with my saliva and further manipulating it so that the water particles are broken down to form a mist. I then exhale, releasing the mist from my mouth. The mist has my chakra within it so I use that to spread it out across the field, covering everything nearby. I use it to cover your clone's vision so that he no longer sees me, whilst his vision is shut off due to the mist, I run towards him and stab him with a Kunai, though, I only become visible to him as soon as I reach the area extremely closer to him, whereas I would know where he is due to my mist*

Advantage is that my opponent cant see me, but I can know where they are because the mist has my chakra (i think) and if I can't, then I have my dogs (i'm an inuzuka) so I can sniff him out.

Disadvantage: The opponent could perform a move, and i wouldn't know? and he can use wind to blow the mist away.

The jutsu allows you to actually know where your opponent is as it is indeed your chakra, I must admit I'm not entirely sure but if we take a look at the Manga Zabuza was able to spot Kakashi in the mist while Kakashi couldn't see him. Keep in mind that the Byakugan is able to see through the mist while it effectively blinds any other doujutsu.

Next up;

Rank: D
Range: Short
Chakra cost: 10
Damage Points: 20
Description: A technique that utilizes water to create a sword. The sword can be wielded in the normal fashion, allowing the ninja to cut and stab like with a normal blade.
Note: Doesn't require a water source.

Hold out your dominant hand and gather your water chakra within that hand and gradually release it outward, using the moisture in the air to create a source of water in the palm of your hand which you then have to shape into the form of a sword and finally harden the water so that the sword becomes tangible, allowing you to cut and stab with it.

Name an advantage/disadvantage of this technique aswell as in what kind of situation you might use it in a fight.

*I hold up my right hand and begin to gather and focus my water chakra there. As my water chakra is gathered there, I begin to release it out of palm and outwards whilst using the moisture in the air to create a sword made of water in the palm of my hand. I then focus more water chakra making the water sword dense, allowing it to harden and become tangible, allowing me to cut and stab with it.*

Advantage: If you don't have a sword, you can simple make one.

Disadvantages: It's weak so it can be cut and destroyed by other jutsus.

and I'd use it in a sword fight or a close range situation.

Excellent!

Next up;

Rank: D
Type: Supplementary, Defence
Range: Short
Chakra cost: 10
Damage points: N/A
Description: The user will manipulate their water chakra and releasing it from their arm which is held outwards infront of them and they then create a shield of water that can aide in defence against projectile weapons and close combat techniques.

Alright, for this technique I want you to hold one of your arms outward and gather water chakra within it. Then channel that chakra outward and form a shield composed out of water on your arm, the shield remains in position like a regular shield the only difference is that it's made out of compressed water.

Perform it and state atleast one advantage and one disadvantage of this technique aswell as in what kind of situation you might use it ^^

*I hold my arm outward and gather water chakra within it, using the water chakra to materialize water and shape it to become a shield made of composed and dense water, allowing me to defend from things.*

Advantage: I can use it to protect against Kunais and weak fire.

Disadvantage: A wide jutsu could hit my legs since the shield only covers my arm and upper body (I think)
