You can form two crystal blades on both your hands which can aid your close combat prowess quickly if you do the technique amidst fighting giving your opponent little time to react to them. Also the size of the blades is a standard ninja tanto which can be useful to block smaller weapons

It is only as strong as a normal sword which is no strong at all which can be easily shattered which might sway a few to not use this technique.

- Combinations/Elemental usages
using wind techniques to further improve the blades sharpness and piercing power, especially allowing them to cut through solid rock or other dense materials.

- How to counteract the move
Could either move out of short range so they cannot reach you and therefore not a problem, or use an lighting technique to shatter them making them useless while damaging the opponents arms

- What your opinion is on the move.
It would compliment you in close range to the opponent making them think to switch there plans at the last moment which can be handy, but they are only as strong as a normal sword which is not helpful as they could be easily shattered which puts you at a great disadvantage

Alright next one is a bigger crystal shuriken. Same concept as last time only you will use more chakra and focus on thickness and size while projecting your crystal chakra. Notice what these bad boys are capable of and although they are harder to actually throw in numbers you can simply make them in mid air and rain them towards an enemy. Likely only three at a time though.

Bigger and stronger makes this technique slightly more obvious but better as this can slice through normal metal with ease unlike the last technique, also being to make more then one helps as well but not clearly the amount you can make in the first.


- Negative points of this technique
Being larger then normal shuriken its more easy to spot and then notice what you are doing which could lead to the opponent countering you easily or even putting you on the defensive which no one wants.

- Combinations/Elemental usages
Again just amplifying with wind techniques as there isn't much Varity with this technique just a larger version then the last one.

- How to counteract the move
Use a lighting technique that will shatter the crystal making it useless or what will work just aswell but more uncommon use sound that will shatter the crystal and put the opponent on a great disadvantage

- What your opinion is on the move.
Its basically just a larger version of the previous technique and it is more noticeable to the opponent so in my opinion It is worse then the first as the first can be used more discreetly

True easier to spot but they are also a white/blue colour of crystal which reminds you of ice so people could defend the wrong way thinking they are ice. Just because a jutsu is crystal does not instantly mean they would know it is, leaving the enemy the need to decipher this.

Anyways moving on right?????

So this next jutsu is reminiscent of yamato's wood usage where the arm becomes a source to use for your jutsu. Using your Crystal chakra you will carefully and delicately begin encasing the hand/arm up to your shoulder in crystal. This does not mean you are changing your hand to crystal but rather coating it. I don't see this as a useful range jutsu more so a close range extending it into the enemies head while using taijutsu proficiency.

You can make a large lance on your arm which can cover mid range from you which is very useful due to the lance being very long which is unusual for a weapon, ontop of tis it covers your full arm up to your shoulder which can be a sort of protection

- Negative points of this technique
You cannot move your wrist or fingers which is a huge disadvantage with this technique as if you mess up with it you basically cannot maneuverer your hand/wrist to block an incoming attack of your opponent

- Combinations/Elemental usages
Also again just amplifying with wind techniques as there isn't much Varity with this technique just a larger version then the last one, which would increase the piercing power of the lance further and more damage to the opponent.

- How to counteract the move
Just dodge the lance that is incoming by either blocking it by coating yourself if some kind of armour which would prevent it from damaging your skin and injuring you.

- What your opinion is on the move.
I wouldn't personally use this move very much as I don't like taijutsu anyway so I would have no need in using this technique anyway, but as long as you don't miss then you wont be left at a huge disadvantage.

Alright so the first one below here is the same a the other shuriken except that it is only made in the air and you project them towards the enemy. You start by co drain the particles in the air around you and form about fifty shuriken, you can launch these from all different angles. Also if your within short range and have time you can build them surrounding the enemy and will them to crash down on the enemy.

This is a better jutsu which I like because it can be used multiple ways. You can make a trail of spikes rise up and either impale the enemy or surround the enemy binding them tightly where they stand. You will simply mould your crystal chakra across and up from the ground in a zip line fashion and proceed to do either method of killing or binding. Be very careful with your description.

- Positive points of this technique
Very good can hit multiple opponents at the same time and it cannot be dodged as the shuriken go all directions, being made around Guren it will also prevent people from reaching her in close combat.

- Negative points of this technique
Can all be shattered easy by a sound technique or a widespread lighting attack as only a few will be stopped if it is small and focused, Also you can be potentially limiting your view on the opponent as the large amount of shurikens will be blocking her view.

- Combinations/Elemental usages
you could use a wind blast that resides from you which would push all the shuriken outwards faster and with more force making them harder to counter.

- How to counteract the move
You can either make a barrier which will prevent the shuriken from reaching you, also if you have sound you can just shatter them or just alternately just use a focuses lighting attack to shatter the crystal

- What your opinion is on the move.
This technique is the best of the shuriken techniques so far as the sheer amount of shuriken made in a couple seconds and the area it can cover is large also because they can be created very quick they are more subtle then the others aswell which is a bonus

(Shoton: Omiwatari no Jutsu) - Crystal Release: The Gods' Crossing Technique
-Positive points of this technique
Very good surprise attack which is very large, which makes them easier to dodge if they are fast but can impale they and cause a summoning an intense amount of pain instead of an ordinary spike. Also you get the option to aim the spikes to trap the opponent from moving.

- Negative points of this technique
Being large the opponent will be able to detect them quicker and evade them easier then normal spikes but normal spikes wont do as much damage.

- Combinations/Elemental usages
Cant really think of many as earth would be pointless as you just make the opponent aware that your attacking from the earth and using wind to enhance cant happen as you wont be close enough to coat the spikes as if you was risk being impaled because they are so large.

- How to counteract the move
Use a lighting surge that is strong enough to shatter the crystals or use lighting to coat your whole body so that you have a shied to prevent the crystal from touching you and shattering when it does.

- What your opinion is on the move.
Very useful for trying to capture your opponent as you have the option to do so, you could even impale the arms/legs of the opponent with a spike and then bind them with the others so it be harder for them to resist as they induce more pain to themselves but the fact that you can use it different ways is it own benefit

Alright next up is the useless techniques and I say this because you would never have time to use this in a fight without people meta gaming you so...
You start by building up your crystal chakra and project it in front of yourself or behind your choice, you will form a mirror out of crystal that is similar in shape to a snowflake. This mirror is suspended in mid air using your chakra because most of the jutsu she can do either manipulate from mid air or can hover to some degree.
Once the mirror is formed you chakra will project your image out from the mirror acting as a gateway to form crystal clones. In the anime there was handsigns involved but really that would hinder this even more. I could always make a simpler version but I don't use clones often.
If your incredibly good at CQC then this would be useful for its creativity of placement and mixture of sneaking up behind the enemy.

Not much use to it as it is only made for making some clones which there is already a shadow clone technique and they both shatter after one hit anyway so neither is more durable to any extent

- Combinations/Elemental usages
There is none that I can think of as it is simple a medium for another technique


- How to counteract the move
Destroy the mirror with a sound or lighting technique as it is still made out of crystal

- What your opinion is on the move.
I think this move is basically useless you can utilise them and as you stated are good or decent at close combat so basically useless for me and I wont be using often until I learn taijutsu.


(Suisho no Bunshin) - Jade Crystal Clone
- Positive points of this technique
You can make three clones from the mirror and can deceive Byakugan users which is better then your normal clones but crystal clones can only use crystal techniques up to A rank and nothing else.


- Negative points of this technique
Not only are the crystal clones can shatter in on hit like an average shadow clone but they cannot use anything but crystal up to A rank which


- Combinations/Elemental usages
You can use more then three crystal techniques in one time frame which will make the opponent really hard to counter it with one technique Also either you or a clone can run and engage the opponent in close combat too put him even more on a disadvantage.

- How to counteract the move
Destroy all the clones at the same time with one powerful technique or immobilise all of them making them easier to dispatch, or simply kill the user making the clones disappear.

- What your opinion is on the move.
This is better then the previous technique but that being said needs the mirror for it to function so it requires a pointless technique to set up and wastes one of your moves doing so for a clone that can only do A rank crystal techniques and be shattered in on hit I wont be planning on using this much.

Alright similar to making shuriken your going to make let's say 20 Crystal needles about 5" in length, these are made by forming them in mid air and converting the water particles surrounding you into needles. You need to really focus on the needles and sharpness to achieve this jutsu. Then you can will them at your enemy with extreme prejudice, scatter them in bunches or a full burst shot.

You can form a large amount of needles out of water molecules in the air with them hitting the opponent with pinpoint accuracy also depending on how you made them spread out or in a bunch this makes this slightly versatile on how you may want to use it. Also it has quick speed aswell.

- Negative points of this technique
Still being easy to destroy either by a sound technique or a ration technique though it would have to be widespread as you could keep them wide so a focused attack wouldn't destroy most of them and still getting through maybe to pierce through the opponent.

- Combinations/Elemental usages
using a wind technique to push the crystals needles faster to close in faster onto the target and making have more power which would pierce through them better.

- How to counteract the move
I would use a ration technique as I don't have access to any sound techniques so I would only be able to shatter the crystal with a ration justu or I would blow the needles back with a wind justu.

- What your opinion is on the move.
I like the element of surprise this can give you as if the opponent is running towards you and you can form the crystal needles which fly really fast will give the opponent little time to react and possibly kill them by hitting something important like a major organ or restricting there movement by hitting a muscle that will pain the opponent when he moves.

Alright so moving on the next jutsu is useful to minimal degree which is why I made a better version of it in my customs. You will encase yourself with a very thin layer of crystal chakra which has benefits against blunt force trauma and gives a boost to taijutsu as well. The armour is only slightly noticeable. Basically using the tenketsu on your body you can release and precise portion of chakra to encase yourself. This armour only slightly decreases manueverability, likely less then earth armor.

Description: This jutsu allows Guren to become encased in a thin sheet of crystal to protect her from blunt force trauma. This armor can also aid Guren in performing stronger physical attacks, i.e. her punches can break normal human bone easily. The crystal is transparent and can only be noticed by light reflecting off it. It affords no protection against Nin-jutsu and slows Guren down to one rank below her ability.

- Positive points of this technique
You become very resistant to taijutsu attacks because of the crystal armour which is also very hard to spot because of it being transparent
so the opponent can barley spot this until too late, also the crystal armour being able to easily break bones with minimal effort is good as the opponent wont last long in a taijutsu fight with the armour active.

- Negative points of this technique
The armour gives no protection against ninjustu attacks which is very bad as just about everyone will be able to pierce through the armour, also the armour slowing down your speed by 1 is also a downside.

- Combinations/Elemental usages
While the armour is equipped using crystal techniques becomes easier as you can make them appear from off your body as the crystal is already there, also using anything that can aid you with attacking in taijutsu is a big help as it will further damage the opponent.

- How to counteract the move
Use any ninjustu techniques most likely ration as this would pierce through the armour and the user also more effectively or use a genjustu to restrict there movement making them slower as they already lost a level making you quicker if you are the same speed as them.

- What your opinion is on the move.
My opinion is that the move is good if you are in a tight spot with taijutsu but only in this area, or if you are going to attack with taijutsu as the no protection against ninjustu heavily weighs down the amount of protection you can get from it, but I will still use it often as it is a nice technique to have handy in most situations.

Good seems you get the concept. Moving along next up is a very useful juts I which I have used a few times. Using your crystal chakra you will construct a dome of crystal which only surrounds the enemy not encase them. The dome is however big you want to describe it within reason, and is incredibly durable minus the weaknesses of Crystal that is.


The next jutsu requires three hand signs and you can form a crystal dragon which you can use to fly on top of or you can create two of them to clash the enemy from the sides. This jutsu was shown in the anime able to Crystal water being directed at guren and reverse it looping it around her in Crystal form of the dragon. This was when kakashi used a water dragon jutsu I believe against her and she forcibly overpowered his jutsu taking hold of it and making it her own jutsu but in Crystal form. When using two dragons you can jump from dragon to dragon if your enemy pressures you severely enough.

- Positive points of this technique
This technique is good as you can target who you want the dome to surround which is beneficial as you can also do it around yourself or an opponent, also that the dome is strong to the attacks both internal and external to B ranks which is a nice touch to the technique.

- Negative points of this technique
There isn't many to try and pick out the only one I could mention or seem to think of is that It can only take B ranks and a C ranked ration/sound justu as it is weak to lighting and sound

- Combinations/Elemental usages
Only using an earth or crystal technique from below if your using earth or a crystal technique from the dome which surround the targets or target.

- How to counteract the move
Id use a lighting justu that was highly focused and decent rank so it wouldn't just penetrate the dome but maybe pierce the user aswell on blind instincts'.


- What your opinion is on the move.
The technique is a very useful technique if you need to interrupt your opponent or by yourself some time for a technique to be set up, this technique is a versatile compared to most the previous techniques in my opinions expect the needles.


(Shoton: Hasho Koryo) - Crystal Release: Tearing Crystal Falling Dragon
- Positive points of this technique
You can create two dragons which is more useful then the one, also since the dragon/dragons are crystal elemental wise they are the strongest of the dragons that are physical like wood and earth but is weak to lighting, also having two dragons gives you versatility.

- Negative points of this technique
Not really any that I can think of expect the obvious that its weak to lighting and sound as it is really nice technique

- Combinations/Elemental usages
you can launch an attack as the dragon is about to hit the opponent which would result in a combo attack in pretty much the same timeframe giving the opponent little time to react and use one technique to counter both.

- How to counteract the move
I would use a lighting technique that is long ranged to get the dragon and aim for where the user is standing to destroy the dragon/dragons and hopefully damage the user at the same time putting you on the offensive and taking control of the battle.

- What your opinion is on the move.
I like this technique because of the usefulness in situations that it can get you out of, like dodging an technique and attacking the opponent at the same time which flips control of the battle to your aswell.

Good seems you understand both of these nicely. Moving on this next one I have never actually had to use it but if I ever battle Moofy I likely would. Think of this as a wheel that you ride in as you use your chakra to propel you across water giving movement to the wheel. Basically enhances your speed on water I would say one 1 Faster then your regular speed on water. It basically only works as a ride to increase speed for evading jutsu while being sneaky with weapons as well.

The wheel cannot function as an attack or defence against techniques which is bad as you cannot really use this wheel much only to dodge small scale techniques.

Using wind to boost the speed of the wheel to get around on water quicker, couldn't really think of any on this one

- How to counteract the move
Use a wide scale technique which the wheel cannot dodge in time and then the user will be stuck with no options but to abandon the wheel.

- What your opinion is on the move.

I suppose it is pretty cool and unique but it wouldn't be much use in a battle as you cannot attack or defend with it which is the primary stages in a battle I don't see myself using this technique much.

So next up is an offensive type which can also be used for blocking. You will send out crystal chakra from the ground which will rise up creating a large string of Crystal thorns. These are a few meters in height and will run in a straight line towards the enemy. You could also use them as a wall of Crystal thorns to block some jutsu' from getting to you. This can be made on practically any surface.

This is good as the thorns can constantly grow towards the opponent also being several meters high it will block the sight of the opponent and yours aswell of course, this can mask your movement for your next attack.

They only grow one direction which can be bad as the opponent can easily move to another direction out of the path of the thorns.


- Combinations/Elemental usages
Not any I can think off you could use an earth technique to immobilise the opponent beforehand

- How to counteract the move
I would use a technique to quickly move out the way of crystal thorns which can only move in one direction which would counter the move.

- What your opinion is on the move.
I like the technique and I reckon I would use this a lot to kick off a battle as no one likes people spamming S ranks on the first move.

Next up is a trapping method of crystal jutsu, this jutsu can be used at multiple ranges.you will do the handsigns and place your hands on the ground sending your crystal chakra through the ground. Directing it to the enemy, then you will have spikes rise up all around the enemy completely immobilizing the enemy with the spikes. The spikes themselves are at least 10 meters as this was able to subdue the three tails. These will also protrude up from different angles ensaring the enemies.
