Hai hai! O_O

I like to search for different types of arts on the internet, basically browsing for images. xD As for my current NB ambitions I would like to become a great scorch user and swordsman! For that, I need to work on learning kenjutsu and things that can complement it. And I also need fire and wind.

Taijutsu is basically hand to hand combat, as explained during Team 7's first bell training with Kakashi. So it's when you only use your own body to fight. If you use any kind of weapon, then it is no longer called taijutsu. Taijutsu also relies on the user's physical condition and training. If we take the example of Lee and Gai who have exceedingly worked on strengthening their body, it is obvious that they can achieve greater things in taijutsu compared to your average ninja.

Types/forms of taijutsu I remember from the anime:

- Gai/Lee: Their form of taijutsu has escalated to a level far superior to that of an average ninja. They could be considered the ones who use taijutsu to its fullest potential. So without relying on ninjutsu at all. As for how they achieve that, they put themselves in intense physical training on a daily basis and even carry weights on themselves to make the training more challenging. They can also use the inner gates that severs a ninja's limit.

- Neji/Hinata (hyuuga): Although they don't deliver powerful punches, they focus on damaging chakra points in a ninja's body by releasing a powerful, yet small and precise amount of chakra into that enemy's chakra point.

- Raikages: They enhance their taijutsu with lightning which could be considered as a combination between taijutsu and ninjutsu. Though I believe the lightning serves mainly to improves their movement and reaction speed.

- Endurance is the ability to endure and withstand incoming attacks. For example, when receiving a powerful punch head on. It could also be referred to as "resistance", how much you can take before you break.

- Strength is basically how much power you put into your offensive attacks. In case of taijutsu, the power of our punches and kicks.

- Stamina means how much you can keep on doing a certain physical (or maybe even mental) activity. For example for how much time you can keep running without loosing your breath, etc.

- Balance, in terms of taijutsu, probably means the ability to know how much speed and power you need to put in one of your attacks so that it'll become efficient. For example too much speed with no power might cause self-harm, while too much power with no speed might just lead to you not landing your attack the way you wanted.

- Stance is probably the most important thing in taijutsu. It the way you stand and position your limbs so that you can respond as efficiently as possible to incoming attacks while also allowing you to counter attack. Stances also helps you to increase your defenses and helps you to lower your chances of falling to the ground where you might get at a disadvantage.

Gai uses a style called Strong Fist, which involves delivering very power taijutsu attacks on his enemies to destroy them. They're so powerful to the point that they can break bones. Gai hones his physical strength quite regularly in order to use the art of Strong Fist to its fullest potential.

Advantages:
- Gai receives tremendous speed by training in this style
- He also receives a good amount of physical power which makes his attacks more powerful an allows him to receives blows from enemies without being much hurt

Drawback:
- To deliver so many powerful blows leaves Gai at risk of harming themselves
- The style of fighting requires him to go through excessive physical training so he can recuperate him strength and stamina after continuous attacks

Neji's fighting style is unique to his clan and is called gentle fist. As I said previously, they damage chakra points, and I forgot to add that their attacks can also damage organs.

Advantages:
- Not much physical power is required
- Despite not causing much damage to the outside, they still damage the chakra system and some important organs which could sometimes actually be more dangerous than damage made on the outside

Drawbacks:
- The style is basically useless if they do not posses byakugan to locate the enemy's chakra points
- A high level of precision and chakra control is required for those attack, could also add speed in order to precisely attack their desired chakra points

I would say it is range, because if you cannot reach your enemy, then you won't be able to damage them. Ninjutsu attacks are very frequently used out of range from a taijutsu attack's reach. So we could say that taijutsu's weakness is ninjutsu, but I prefer to say that it's range.
