I'm going to go ahead and give a definition of genjutsu what you can do with it etc.(This is due to EVERY others training doing it so might as well do it now when i have time to spare)
Genjutsu translates to Illusionary techniques in Japanese.Like the name suggests it doesn't deal direct damage to a persons body it however targets their mind and their soul/chakra.Genjutsu do this by altering one or more senses.This can be done by placing your opponent in a genjutsu where they hear loud screeching causing head trauma due to the ear drums bursting then sending pain reflexes back to the mind going oh shit it hurts i cant take much more.However genjutsu is not just the act of hurting your opponent.It can be used to trick your opponent to believe their surroundings are different from what they are in reality.So you can hide someone/something as well as create fake obstacles altering the path that they may take.Which in turn will lower certain aspect of some jutsu being used.Eg using false surrounding to give the impression that all around them is ground when in reality their on/or under 5 feet deep in water either drowning or in the process of dying.
Genjutsu is rather easy to get out of due to it simply requiring usage of chakra in order to do so.It would be useless if your opponent were to cast a S rank jutsu to get rid of what they think would be weapons.When in reality all they would be doing is spiking their chakra and as such break out of the genjutsu.(Correct me if I'm wrong please)The other more "generic" way of getting out is too use a technique called "Kai" which is essentially just spiking your chakra to trigger a genjutsus release.In addition to this genjutsu need a constant stream of chakra(Once more correct if wrong please)As such you are unable to use any other jutsu.As such you should generally create other forms or ways to attack before using the genjutsu or do it off the bat and kill them the good old way with simple free form while their too busy dealing with the genjutsu(If of course you can cast and get within striking distance in time)
Using genjutsu against doujutsu users is significantly more difficult and unless your opponent who possesses such doujutsu such as sharingan(Which allows your opponent to see through genjutsu automatically) or the byakugan(Allows one to see chakra flow.A simply look at self would reveal foreign chakra within their system that's affecting them.From their its rather simple to get rid of the genjutsu by ways via above.Or by simply hurting themselves enough.Some doujutsu also allow their user to cast genjutsu regardless of regular genjutsu talent.These genjutsu are generally more potent and dangerous.

sorry sensei but i got bored and didnt want to study for a test which i actually didnt have too do today so yeh....
Well ive been on the site since 2010 actively partaking in rp since 2011 took about a 6-8 month break a month ago due to school but am back now until the foreseeable future.Ive got the basic 5 mastered learning ninjutsu from john(Belladonna)All i really wish for is to have fun.Thats why were all here isn't it? Ambitions about myself hmm well I would once I master the all the requirements for becoming a sensei apply for said position.As i don't really like seeing the amount of people who leave our rp due to the amount of sensei/senpais.And the fact that i want to become a teacher in the real world helps as well.Able it in totally different area's(Man Arts(Wood work) and Physical Education) But yeah theirs my ambition.

Chakra is ones inner energy.It is required for Most jutsu.Beside taijutsu and in some cases kenjutsu.It is channeled within the persons 361 tenketsu or chakra points.It is the moulding of ones physical and mental energy normally via handseals but their are cases where this isn't needed nor used.
Pure And Elemental Chakra
All shinobi have at least one elemental chakra affinity.Some have more or thanks to a bloodline limit can combine 2 elements to create a sub-element such as wind+water=ice or water+earth=wood release.In Narutobase however everyone has all elemental jutsu.And we have 2 affinities.A main one such as my lyanna's Water style which allows for 1 handed handsigns or my wind which allows for faster performing of the jutsu.Below is a elemental balancing thingy.
Fire (火, Hi) natured chakra allows for Fire Release (火遁, Katon), which is strong against Wind but weak against Water.
Wind (風, Kaze) natured chakra allows for Wind Release (風遁, Fūton), which is strong against Lightning but weak against Fire.
Lightning (雷, Kaminari) natured chakra allows for Lightning Release (雷遁, Raiton), which is strong against Earth but weak against Wind.
Earth (土, Tsuchi) natured chakra allows for Earth Release (土遁, Doton), which is strong against Water but weak against Lightning.

- To break from genjutsu their is 3 ways.With only 2 of those technically valid in our roleplay except for when their is more than 1 person on your side.They are
1st is from inflicting pain to ones nervous system causing your chakra to spike un-coniously breaking the genjutsu.It hurts yourself but sometimes it is the only way to break out of a genjutsu if you dont know kai
The 2nd way is to use the jutsu kai which is conciously spiking your chakra to break the control that the opponent has on your chakra.
The last and least valid in my point of view is having an allie inject their chakra within your body.Disrupting the enemies chakra flow within your body by the addition of another chakra .

Sitting down,Placing my legs in a Lotus stance.I place the palms of my hands together.Closing my eyes i focus on the pit which is my energy my life force.My chakra. Slowly I will it to spread outwards through my body.Pouring into every tenketsu available.

Proceed to forcing the chakra into my clone's chakra pathway(points to clone). Once the chakra is inside him, use it to disturb his chakra thus allowing you access to his senses. Now you can now make him see anything you like

Seeing priest turned into nathan pointing towards the clone.I immedietly focus on my own chakra willing it to cross the distance between the clone and myself.Before entering the skin through the clones tenketsu.I then cause my chakra to move in a different way to which the clones naturally does.Disturbing his senses.I focus it into his eye and ears aswell as his hands and feet.And wait for further instruction.

Standing a decent way away say mid range from you i extend my chakra towards your clone.Upon reaching you i have it flood into your brain.I then focus on what i wish you to see and using the chakra as a medium transfer said images to your brain causing you to see what i wish you too see.In this case due to the snow falling around us i simply have you imagine it going so fast you cant see a thing infront of you.I then use silent killing and dash behind your clone chopping its head off.

I'm not too sure, of the top of my head. But we will find out when I teach you more.

No questions other than if you were to make a kurama clan bio.Using their bloodline this would become real could you create them with the petals razor sharp?.And if one were to have genjutsu as a specialty wouldnt that eliminate the 5 handsigns?

As far as I am aware for your question about your clan, you'd have to be in that mode of theirs for any genjutsu to be treated as real, I can't be sure as I never really focused on that clan, and yeah I believe so.
