[Doton] Training with Nathan

Will be using my John bio for this session.

'Twas a fine day, a fine day outside the gates of Konoha, John had received a letter from someone wanting to be trained by him. The only issue was that he would have to go outside and away from Konoha to train this person, he had no idea what this person looked like, but in the letter there was a location given. So, John headed for said location which turned out to be a area quite far away from Konoha, it was a plain field, with a lot of trees surrounding it, and a decent sized pond on the left of it. As John brushes through the trees, he doesn't see anyone there just yet. So he goes and stands in the middle of the field, grabs out a bottle from his right pocket and takes light slips from it.
I wonder what they look like. - John said to himself.

Elizabeth just sent out a formal request of training, she had heard great things of this particular sensei. With strength that could rival even sannin. She didn't know much of how her sensei would look like, or if he'd take heed of her location. Elizabeth continued walking out from the forest to an open field. She took off her aviator sunglasses and saw a man in the middle of a open field drinking from a bottle. She walked toward his direction knowing for sure this was the man she was looking for. Elizabeth stopped walking when she was directly in front of him.
"Escuse me, you must be my sensei? Am I right?"

Standing there drinking his alcohol, the effects of the alcohol do not affect him, John any more for reasons that won't be gone into it. He notices a youngish girl making her way towards her, she didn't look any older then 25, and no younger then 20. She walked up to John and spoke. Excuse me, you must be my sensei? Am I right?
John bent down and placed the bottle of alcohol down on the ground, and then bent back up and looked at the girl for a mere moment and then answered her question.
Hmm. It would seem so, my name is John Reese, John, or Mr. Reese will do. So I'm teaching you, earth (doton), would I be correct?

Elizabeth stood firmly, only slightly repositioning herself since she knew her sensei was looking directly at her. She frowned her face knowing he probably thought she was young and girlish.
The man finally said,
Hmm. It would seem so, my name is John Reese, John, or Mr. Reese will do. So I'm teaching you, earth (doton), would I be correct?
Elizabeth glad she finally knew what to call him bowed in respect and replied, "Yes, doton would be the field I am seeking training in."

Its user with enough skill can also go and travel underground i.e good transportation, and can be used in advantage for the user to set up sneak attacks or barriers i.e defensive attacks. Its relationship with other nature is its strong against water since it absorbs it and makes mud. Earth is weak against lighting because lighting strikes it and crumbles or destroys the earth. Elizabeth listened intently to Castiel's thorough explanation, she made sure to suck up any knowledge he could provide to her about earth. She got so caught up she didn't hear Castiel say,
"So, any questions?"
Elizabeth thought for a second and smiled replying, "No questions here...Castiel."

Castiel takes the small square piece of paper out of his pocket and then walks over to his student to hand him the piece of paper.
Okay, so what I want you to do with this piece of paper is quite simple, all I want you to do is try and channel your chakra into the paper and if done correctly the paper should crumble up into dust. Give it a shot!
Castiel then hands you the paper and takes two steps back, observing his student.

Elizabeth gets handed a piece of paper from her sensei and takes it from his hands. Elizabeth observes the paper after listening to Castiel's instructions. Elizabeth takes a deep breath, and closes her eyes concentrating on chakra within her. Holding the small paper, Elizabeth channels chakra from her body moving it towards her hands. And emitting it out into the small paper, the paper crumbles to dust in response from the chakra.
"Did I perform this correctly, Castiel?" Elizabeth asks once completed.

Castiel comments upon Elizabeth's current work then ask her a question. Elizabeth thinks carefully and replies, "I feel like weight has been lifted off my shoulders, since to gather a sufficient amount of earth chakra I had to compact my chakra."

Good, now we may begin with some of the techniques.
(Doton No Jutsu) - Earth Release Technique
Rank: D
Type: Attack/Defence
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra cost: 10
Damage Points: 20
Descripton: Creates small pillars of earth, small tools, and small shields of earth
Alright for a D-rank technique, I love it. It's such a great and handy technique. What I want you to do is use your newly created doton chakra and send it towards the ground, once it is in the ground. Use shape manipulation on the ground, the chakra should have merged with the earth, giving you small control over it. From that I want you to create a simple pillar in front of you, shouldn't be more then about 3 meters tall, once you have completed that I want you to gather up your doton chakra again. But this time in your hand, and use shape manipulation on the chakra again to form into a earthen kunai in your hand that you will throw at my clone.
Good thing about this technique, you can make a pillar for example underneath you to push you up into the air, or for an extra boost of speed if you explain it correctly.
All I would like you to do is perform it and ask questions if you have any.

Elizabeth hears her sensei give her a set of instructions. She nods as an answer and rubs her together hands before bending her knees. She places her hands on top of the fresh earth, she closes her eye's to concentrate. She feels chakra in her body begin to form. She feels it gather and quickly focuses, allowing the chakra to flow from her heart and out from her palms. Knowing the chakra intermingled with the earth, she gains slight control of the fresh earth. Elizabeth molds the chakra infused earth, then quickly thrust her hands up from the ground. Forming a sturdy (enough to Elizabeth personally) pillar towering just roughly about 3 meters above Elizabeth.
Elizabeth proud at her small accomplishment, smiles in glee. She remembers Castiel's next task for her and looks at her hands carfully. She feels chakra flow throughout her body and focuses at one place, her right palm. The chakra's property changes to that of doton properties. Elizabeth molds the chakra after visualuzing the shape of kunai. She emits the chakra out, and out materialises a earth kunai in Elizabeth's right hand. She grips the kunai's handle and aims for the clones heart, then swings the kunai foward toward the mute Castiel clone.
She watches as the clone poofs and looks back at the real Castiel.
"Is correct Castiel? Or did I miss something?"

A variation of this technique allows the user to create several staffs and launch them at the target, but with less accuracy.

Elizabeth smiled, optimistic about moving on and further advancing. Elizabeth walks over to a fresh patch of land, completely barren. She halts her movement and bend her knees with both hands touching the ground. She feels the dirt and scrunches up her nose from the smell.
Elizabeth clears her thoughts and channels raw chakra in her body from stomach. She focuses it toward her palms then begins to mold and fuel her earth chakra into the chakra allowing herself to manipulate the very minerals of the rock and extend the molecules outwards to either side of her hand. Once she using her hands to pull out the earthen chakra, soon after, the rock would be expanded and compressed into a 3 ft long staff due to her manipulation of the earth.
Elizabeth looking at the materialized earth staff and clutched in her right hand. She twirled it in the air and laughed happily while doing so.
