As the animals are summoned, Nikodo turns towards them looking at each one. The distance between them was about 5 m and the sizes of the summon wasn't that gigantic compared to the really great ones. As Nikodo keeps his stance, he start forcing chakra into these beings, trying to aim for the basic muscles needed for movement, trying to force them not to move. As he continued adding more chakra gradually, the summons became more stiffer and it seemed like they weren't able to do any basic movement, either minimal ones like move their ears.
Usages are a ton. You can sue the restriction mostly in battles against the enemies summons. If you are in a bad position like about to get eaten or something like that, you use this skill limiting the movements of the summon directly and saving yourself in the last second. Another perfect usage is to limit the movements as you attack it causing it to feel the full impact of the jutsu. And yet another usage, is when the summon is about to shield it's master, the person who signed the contract whatever. You just limit it's movements easily.
Advantages are that with this skill you can have a counter for many cases of summonings. Smaller summonings you can take care of directly. You restrict their movements and kill them. Bigger ones you need a lot of concentration and later on when you are sure the beast is restricted you throw a barrage of jutsu, so as many as you can.
Disadvantages is that you need to focus on the beast you are currently restricting, so if you for one second think about something else the beast will move once again. Another one is that this jutsu can be broken by raw strength which you won't be sure that the enemy can achieve till you are sure of that.
My thoughts about this skill is that it is pretty basic in my opinion. I got no other thoughts. Just being able to restrict movements is similar to a very basic ability, It has a very useful usage but not many ways how to do it ect...
Ok, for the second skill I guess the only usages you can get from them are mostly forcing your enemy to be frightened to death so he calls the battle lost in the first place. It is most useful of course when he is 2 ranks below you, so he will be frozen and you can finish him off with a jutsu easily. Another usage might be to force the enemy to mess up in a jutsu or drop their weapon of choice, giving you a simple opening for at least 5 seconds.
Advantages might be the fact that you don't need either chakra, nor handseals, and in some cases it can be really effective. Pure killing intent sometimes in most cases can let you handle small inexperienced Ninja really quickly without needing to waste a lot of chakra.
Disadvantages are the fact that not everyone will be that scared from you. There are ninja who's killing intend is a lot greater then yours and if you use this skill they might just win from that chance and finish you since you aren't protecting yourself as you should.
I think this skill might save you a lot of hassle dealing with lower leveled ninja or ninja that have just began their training. You won't need to waste chakra simply overwhelm them with killing intent and slashing their head off.
