walks onto the training ground, hoping he would meet the man that would help him hone his battle skills in order to become a better shinobi. The man who is going to help him is unknown but what is known is that he is a legendary shinobi, his strength known by all and his name causing fear the moment it was heard, who was this man?

Re: Battle training with LoK

No need for RP, it'll just be icky.

Anyway, this is the first time I've ever done battle training or anything close to it, I believe so I'm not exactly sure how this should go. Either way, it'll be a learning experience for us both I guess...anyway, I suppose we need a starting point. Tell me about your fighting style and how you generally fight in battle. I'll go first to give you an example.

I'm first and foremost a close range fighter, though I still enjoy Mid range battling as it's the customary form of fighting these days and most fights rarely leave mid range. By being a close range fighter, I excel in hand to hand combat, a main part of my battling style. I often try to find ways to enter close range in battles, such as using jutsu that attack the enemy from behind to prevent them from retreating backwards, and generally always keeping a forward movement in fights, even if walking to gradually close the distance. In addition to being a Close Range Fighter, I am what I call an "adapter", meaning that although I have a specific list of favored elements, I generally adapt to the bios I choose to RP with as to what I am going to use. For example, I love Water jutsu greatly, as well as Earth behind it. However, my Madara bio is a Fire specialist, and in order to be more like him, I adapted my style to include prominent use of Fire jutsu and Wind as well, despite these being my two least favorite elements (I actually prefer basic ninjutsu over fire release).

Most of my attack methods rely on brute strength instead of strategy, something I can acknowledge. As you probably know, I like to use more overpowering methods of battling, whether it be due to large speed boosts or through outrageous boosts to elemental attacks. While I tend to use these methods, I'm still able to form decent strategies, although these strategies often times are based on overpowering methods.

By being a close range fighter, I'm able to severely cut down the damage an opponent can cause to me by interrupting their opportunities to use Ninjutsu most times by using taijutsu to attack them before they can mold this chakra, though of course nowadays, everyone has at least one jutsu that requires no handseals and allows them to attack one as they use taijutsu, one of the main drawbacks of being a close range fighter. The other drawback is of course, the range. It's often times not easy to enter close range when one is known to be a close range fighter, which sometimes makes the game funner for me, trying to force them into taijutsu fights. By increasing the distance between us, they severely limit my taijutsu arsenal in the process and forcing me to rely on Mid range to long range attacks.

Mid range is fun because it's a mix of long range fighting as well as closer ranged attacks. Attacks take a bit more time to reach them than short range but still quicker than long range. For mid range attacks, I prefer Wind and Lightning jutsus as they are both very fast and travel quickly. In addition to this, using them one after the other is a good combo though you also have to be cautious at times, due to the possibility of them using Fire to counter the wind and in case of certain jutsus, the lightning and fire passing through one another. Mid range is also ideal for starting plans and setting traps, which is what I prefer to use Earth release for. Due to all fights, or most anyway, taking place on earth, we're able to use that ground for good traps, though most only use it for the Swamp jutsu. Earth is good for containing your foe and preventing them form moving much, and if combo'd with Wind jutsu, you limit their chance for defeating the earth as they would have less time to counter the incoming wind which is strong to the lightning. I prefer to use fast acting earth jutsus to injure the legs of the opponent, slowing them and preventing movement much, the D rank Earth pillars is great for this as well as several other C rank earth jutsus.

Long range, i don't favor for many reasons. For one, it limits my range of attacking with my preferred means, Taijutsu and other close range attacks. For 2, it also prevents the usage of most (if not all) Genjutsus, which we can talk more about later if needed. And 3, it's generally used for Defense, giving one time to device a good plan and method of attacking, though I do not recommend using Long range for projectile style attacks, due to the long time it will take to reach one. For me, Long range is best for using jutsus that cause widespread damage that you could potentially harm yourself in, such as Mountain Smash or the S rank Fireball Shower jutsu. I'd only use it to regroup and give myself a better chance to get on the offensive, and begin to close the distance as soon as possible.

Er....Idk what else to talk about until you write about your own style, and be thorough as it will help you understand more about yourself as well.

Re: Battle training with LoK

:| You *******, you made me write a wallie and you never replied
I'm so sorry about that but still no double posting u_u
Loooooool. Train me sensai. I will write wallies for you.
~_~

hmm I can't write a wallie like you did but that's only because I haven't battled as much as you so please don't hate me even more >_>

Anyway I can't really say what kind of fighter I am, for now anyway, but that's also down to me battling so less. I enjoy close combat more than mid range fighting because I'm some1 who gets bored easily so throwing attacks back and forth isn't something I enjoy too much and I trained for kickboxing in RL for quite a few years but nothing official so I guess that's the main reason I enjoy close range fighting. Ofc I lack the needed 'firepower' to fight the more experienced members due to them possessing CFS's which grant them boosts and stuff so I guess that kind of discouraged me from taking on Taijutsu spars as frequently as I'd like but I plan to change that soon, hopefully.

As some1 who enjoys close range fighting, I also tend to like Kenjutsu, combining it with Taijutsu to create some cool attacks. I've been working on a Taijutsu based CFS recently along with some CJ for both Tai and Ken so I will be more involved in Tai soon, hopefully eventually going for a Taijutsu based BT.

Even though I see myself as more of a close range fighter, as you said, mid range is the default range for most fights so naturally we go along with it. I guess it isn't so bad and most if not all of my fights have taken place in a short-mid range so I guess I've gotten caught up in it as well lol. When fighting in mid range, I've limited myself to sticking to the 2 elements my bio specializes in, something I've picked up from you, unless I really have to use another element which hasn't been the case yet. I've also got a bad habit of being to cautious in my fights, often defending and just doing a basic attack instead of really attacking my opponent when I have the upper hand in fights, something I'm hoping I change in order to become a better RPer overall.

Long range isn't really my thing or any1s for that matter so there's not much I can say about it, probably just to escape certain jutsus by retreating to long range but that isn't something I see myself doing tbh, I enjoy trying to come up with new counters even if I don't have the necessary means to go head to head with powerful members.

I guess that's it for now and it kind of turned into a wallie lol

Re: Battle training with LoK

Okay, so you prefer taijutsu and close range over distance. That's good to know. Now, what elements do you prefer using and what KGs/HAs do you prefer or would use in the future if you were able to?

Anyway, I decided to come up with a list of categories and stuff to go over as it will make this easier and better on both of us.

Basic Categories:
-Ranges
-Battle Types and their Advantages/Disadvantages
-Elemental Interactions and Combinations
-Genjutsu Defense
-Timeframe
-Innerworkings of Battling
-Close Quarters Combat

Advanced Categories:
-Custom Creations
*CJ
*CFS
*CE
-Fight Planning
-Ninja World RP Tactics

We'll handle the Advanced Topics after we go through the basic categories, which you can choose from, there is no set order. My last post talked about two of the first categories, but we can go more in depth with each of them now. :)

Hmm... well my favored elements are Water and Earth but recently I've been wanting to try out a Water and Lightning combo as my specialty (which I plan on doing with my new bio).

Naturally the Sharingan is my favorite KG (Obito being my favorite character and all) but I'd also like to try out Wood, Scorch, Ice, Dark (which I have permission for) and probably the Akimichi clan techniques in the future.

I have an understanding of it but I'd like to go over Elemental Interactions and Combinations if that's okay with you.

Hmm, So Water + Earth, good choices, those are my favorite elements with lightning at third ( canon fire and wind are horrid ). A Uchiha who loves Taijutsu, Water, Earth and close range. Sounds familiar lol.

Okay, Elemental Interactions, something fairly simple. Let's hope I can explain this well. We'll begin with your favorite elements.

Water is a very versatile element, capable of besting all others if used correctly. For example, it obviously defeats Fire, but vortexes of water are able to combat the powerful surges of wind that Wind release creates, and it can be used to neutralize and spread an electric current through the water as it goes outwards. It can also be used to overcome earth jutsu, though this is more unique. Most Earth jutsu rely on brute force and cause impact damage. While Water is weak to Earth, massive waves of it can slow earth projectile jutsu down to minimize damage, and they can also be used to alter it's trajectory. A trick I used to use against incoming earth jutsu that I learned from Izuna was to use Hand of Waves or now, Water Pillar Thrust to burst myself into the air at angle to avoid the earth jutsu, or to create a pillar of water under the projectile to slightly alter it's course by pushing it upwards. While it'll continue it's path, it's actual course will have altered, causing it to miss it's target. Ofc logic always plays into effect with how water interacts with Earth, and one think I would like to point out is that despite some Earth jutsu having high ranks, it doesnt increase the "rank" of the earth itself, meaning that, for example, an A rank 1 meter projectile ball would be made of the same earth and density of a C rank 1 meter projectile ball. The difference would likely be the force behind the earth and it's purpose and not the actual earth itself. This means that in some cases, low ranking water can actually be used to "beat" high ranking Earth jutsu by altering it's course, though this is just one way.

Now, I want you to, as detailed as you can, write a post about how Water interacts with each element, and how it could overcome each and how it's weak and also strong to each element. I also want you to write how it can be combined with each element for combination purposes.
