"Don't forget the concepts I just taught you about balance."
"I won't Sensei, thanks for the reminder though."

"Now, we will move on to a completely new topic. This next move is known as a feint. Begin by running at my clone to build momentum and power. When you get in range of him, aim a kick towards the top section of his body, then directly afterwards, kick with your other foot towards his rib cage, and proceed to finish him off with several more kicks of your choice."

There was a few ways you could perform this technique, but I would perform it the following way.

I decide that the best way to do this will be to run in at the clone and leap up, right leg outstretched as though I was going to kick him with it and proceed to twist in the air at the same time. As I land I will land back towards him and on one leg (my right leg as it was the leg I faked with, and due to my spin, I would land on my right leg first.) I will most likely fall forwards, and due to this I will pull my right arm out to stabilize me and stop me falling of balance. As soon as I am nicely grounded I will proceed to do a reverse kick with my left leg before it touches the ground into his rib cage. (This would all happen within seconds) This should shock him, allowing me time to finish him off with a 180 kick.
*Note* I decide that my non-dominant leg be the one to do the reverse kick as my right leg being the fake, will land first, grounding me nicely and helping me remain stable. If my non-dominant leg were to be the leg to stabilize me when I landed, I can imagine myself actually falling off balance.

Well, time to put my thoughts into practice.

I run at Sensei's clone.. I feel myself gaining a lot of momentum in the process. When in range, I leap up and stretch my right leg out nice and long as if I was going to kick the clone in the chest or face. As I do this I twist my body.

As I twist towards a position where I am no longer front on with the clone, I make sure my right foot misses the 'intended' target. Gravity brings me down, my right foot landing on its toes and I lean forward, reaching my right arm out on the ground to stabilize myself. This is all done before my left foot can touch the ground, and once done, I force my left leg backwards in a reverse kick into the clones ribs.

To follow this kick up, I finish the clone of with a 180 kick before it even has time to react.

-poof-

The clone disappears, leaving me breathless, staring at nothing but the forest that had been behind it.

"Okay Sensei, how was that?"

No words. No words at all. To be honest, I wondered for a moment if the student could teach the teacher...
Nonetheless, I clapped once more, working through my mind to come up with some appropriate advice. "Great running began! Running allows for great momentum if you also stomp down with your dominant foot AND then punch. Especially if you use your weaker hand, it makes up for the lack of power due to your stable footing..." Of course, I did note the fact that he pulled the feint off really well - even remembering to utilize the dominant leg for the main kick. "I'll be even more specific here. If you ever played those old retro games where you have to either duck, jump, or reflect projectiles coming at you to kill a boss, it's like that a bit with the feint. If you aim towards the head, your opponent would most likely duck to avoid it, and if you aim towards the bottom, your opponent will also jump to avoid it. Either way, you should be able to follow up if you can predict his actions.
Furthermore, breaking his rib cage could sometimes cause instant death if the bone pierces the heart. If you simply break it, then it would cause labored breathing and shortness of breath, which greatly impacts your opponent's physical ability as the lungs will not have enough oxygen to send it to the brain and the muscles..."
Oh shit, I probably went on too long...
Rubbing a hand behind my neck sheepishly, I went ahead to create another clone before Broly. "For this next move, take advantage of gravity by first allowing your body to be propelled backwards..." With a hand, I gestured a backwards movement. "Then, with a surge of chakra, rise back up with your dominant leg and take advantage of the momentum by delivering a hard kick to my clone, sending him into the air. Single kick, single leg."

Description: A taijutsu where one launches a succession of high kicks and low kicks. Firstly, the opponent's evasion margin is restrained upon seeing the high kick, thus augmenting the chances for the low kick to hit the mark connecting to the rib cage area. So originally the high kick is little more than a feint.

orry about the late reply.. I was on vacation. And the first sentence of your last post .. that may appear in my sig sometime xD

. . . . . .

I nodded and took in all Sensei's advice. Good advice.

"For this next move, take advantage of gravity by first allowing your body to be propelled backwards...Then, with a surge of chakra, rise back up with your dominant leg and take advantage of the momentum by delivering a hard kick to my clone, sending him into the air. Single kick, single leg."

This technique was hard to grasp my head around. I was confused as to how I would be propelling backwards in the first place. I guess I was going to have to wing it.

I sized up Sensei's clone.

I guess if I ran in at the clone , then jumped high towards him, high above his head.. then as I am coming down just in front of him I could do this chakra surge just as the toes of my left foot brush the ground, rise briefly up again with my right leg, strike him in the chest hard, sending him flying. Then I would land with both feet nicely on the ground. Seemed a simple plan in my head.. but I knew actually performing it would be a different story.

I feel nervous for this technique. I have a horrible feeling that I will perform it wrong.

-sigh-

I guess I will learn from my mistakes.

I run at Sensei's clone, fast.. like the last technique I can feel myself gaining a lot of momentum. When in range I push of hard with my right leg and leap into the air. I fly towards the clone , at the peak of my jump I am well above his head..

I begin to come down and I measure that I will land right in front of my Sensei's clone within kicking range. I come down quickly ... but I have to time my chakra surge ..

Not yet.. nearly.. nearly.. NOW

I send a surge of chakra to my right leg, just as the toes of my left foot touch the ground. I push off the ground with my toes and with the combined surge of chakra this causes me to be propelled back upwards. I aim my chakra surged right leg at the clones chest.. upon contact the clone goes flying into the sky then..

-poof-

It vanishes.

I land back on the ground and look nervously at my Sensei..

"Did I do that right? If not.. please give me a demonstration.. verbally the instructions were hard to understand "

"You did perfectly, " I responded. "I can't really explain it with words, but this move introduces the concepts of body weight and gravity, working much like...a metronome. There was probably not a need to jump above my clone, as you can simply mimic a falling statue, then pull all your weight up at the last minute to strike my clone."
I shrugged. "Well, the next few jutsus are a set of jutsus that mainly utilize the palm. They may seem very easy, but can serve you good purpose in battles."
And yet another clone was created. "Alright, instead of knocking my clone up into the air as just did," I began. "Concentrate on the ground instead. Strike him down the the palm of your hand so that he crashes into the earth beneath him."

Description: This technique uses the entire body as a spring, by amassing power through taking a posture where the back of the body falls down. With this powerful taijutsu, the user kicks just above the head. Because the power of the kick from the ground is instantly converted into a blow, the enemy hit with this attack will be launched high into the sky.

Yeah, I guess it can be hard to describe these things in words. Thanks for the additional advice sensei, I guess it is a technique that can be performed various ways, I mean hey, my way managed to pull it off.

"Well, the next few jutsus are a set of jutsus that mainly utilize the palm. They may seem very easy, but can serve you good purpose in battles. Alright, instead of knocking my clone up into the air as just did, Concentrate on the ground instead. Strike him down the the palm of your hand so that he crashes into the earth beneath him."

Okay this sounded interesting. You could really approach this technique in a number of ways.
You could do a run in at the clone and leap up high and come down with your palm straight on his chin. This will blow him of balance and hurtling towards the ground as it forces his head back. Alternatively, you could run in at the clone , get really close, leap upwards a little bit and strike the clone with your palm just under his chin. This will cause his head to snap backwards the force enough to push him up momentarily and off balance which will then cause him to fall backwards onto the ground. You could also just stand in front of him with a good stance and strike him under the chin with your palm which will have the same effect ~ But less force behind the strike.

I guess this technique was a flexible one then. I mean it could be used in so many situations. But what was my situation. . .

I look towards Sensei's clone. He is standing a few good yards away. So I wouldn't be doing the stand and hit approach. I could jump do the wild run and leap from above.. or the wild run and upwards strike from below. Both would send him to the ground..

I remember my Sensei's words..

"Concentrate on the ground instead. Strike him down the the palm of your hand so that he crashes into the earth beneath him."

If I really wanted to send him crashing to the ground.. I would have to do the jump from above. It wouldn't have to be that high though, just enough force to really knock him down.

I stretched my right hand quickly, This would be my striking hand, before I begin to run at the clone.

I approach it fast. My momentum is well built up. When I am within a range, I jump - not my highest - just a jump where I was well enough elevated that I would come down on the clones chin with my palm hard enough that he would fall back.
As I am in the air, as predicted, the clone lifts his head a little to watch me. This leaves under his chin wide open. I'm there before he can put his head down. I am going to land a little bit behind him on his side, so this would all work out well. My right arm is already outstretched and my fingertips are folded against my bottom knuckles, my palm flat and ready. As I am coming down, nearly on the ground I strike him with my palm straight on the bottom of the edge of his chin. The force of my strike and the added weight of my descent coming downwards causes the clone's head to snap back hard. His body follows. And soon he crashes onto the ground.

-poof-

He was gone.

I stand up, as I had found myself landing in a crouching position.

"Okay, Sensei, how was that? Please tell me anything I can improve on and if I did it wrong, please correct me, I must admit, my was was rather random".

You actually quoted me. >_> Dang it.
---
I winced slightly as the sound of my own clone's neck cracking reverberated throughout the area. Not like my clone was alive...but I couldn't help, but feel for it, ya know?
Broly was heaving slightly, however, there was a smile on his face - a smile that indicated yet another great execution, and I wasn't short of agreeing. "You did perfectly well," I told him, nodding. "But, remember that not everyone situation in a real battle allows you to get a head start in running - in fact, this jutsu, since it is close ranged, fast, yet strong, can very well serve you better than a jump, insta kill. For example, if you know that you are going to be utilizing the ground for some move such as Swamp of the Underworld, or even a spike, you can strike your opponent down and leave him immobilized or stunned just in time to be hit by said jutsus."
Another clone was created then.
"Same concept," I repeated. "However, this time, you will not be hitting my clone into the ground." I looked up, waving a hand in the air. "You'll strike not with your palm but with your first in an angle so that you hit his abdomen, sending his into the air."

Haha, if you're against it being quoted, I will remove it xD

. . . . . .

"You did perfectly well."Sensei told me, nodding.
:hooray:

"But, remember that not everyone situation in a real battle allows you to get a head start in running - in fact, this jutsu, since it is close ranged, fast, yet strong, can very well serve you better than a jump, insta kill. For example, if you know that you are going to be utilizing the ground for some move such as Swamp of the Underworld, or even a spike, you can strike your opponent down and leave him immobilized or stunned just in time to be hit by said jutsus."

"Yeah Sensei, you have a great point. Thanks for the advice, I will remember that."

I watched as Sensei created another clone.

"Same concept," Sensei repeated. "However, this time, you will not be hitting my clone into the ground." He looked up, waving a hand in the air. "You'll strike not with your palm but with your first in an angle so that you hit his abdomen, sending him into the air."

"Okay Sensei, I will try my best."

I preferred the closed fist strike over the open palm strike, so I was kind of looking forward to this technique. I remember what Sensei said about the jumping, so I guess I would start close this time - best to start practicing fighting from a range of distances I suppose.

I walk up to Sensei's clone so that I am about a foot away from him.

I study the situation closely. The aim of this technique was to send him up into the air. I guess this technique was pretty manageable then. I would take a step in towards the clone,I remember Sensei saying something about stomping, so when I place my foot down I will stomp it down. At the same time as I stomp down, I will bring my arm up, fist balled straight into the upper half of the clones abdomen.. I assume that the higher up the abdomen I strike, the better chance I have to send him in the air. I imagine he will actually jump up slightly on his own when I punch him as a natural reaction. This should help me send him into the air in combination with my own power punching him upwards.

Okay L, enough analysing, you always get carried away.

I look at Sensei's clone in front of me, and then over at Sensei. If he 'felt' the other clone get beaten, he will certainly feel this one.

I lower my stance and ball my right fist up. I take a step with my right foot in towards the clone, my stance still low, my arm bent, coming up towards the top of the clones abdomen. I stomp my right foot hard on the ground, at the same time my right fist connects with the clones abdomen. The force of the stomp causes me to drive my fist into the clones abdomen harder than if I had not stomped. As my fist drives into the clone, the clone jumps up as predicted as a reaction to the punch. He won't be touching the ground anytime soon. My fist drives hard into the clones abdomen, who is now suspended in the air.
As it drives deeper, my stance grows taller, my legs straightening up - my left faster than my right (my left leg is my back leg atm and was not that bent to begin with anyway) , my bent right arm also becoming straighter. Soon my right leg is straight and my left leg is also straight, my left foot hovering just above the ground behind me, my body leaning on an angle towards the clone. My right arm is also straight and as a result is not as deep in the clones abdomen as it had been. However, the clone is higher in the air. My left foot starts to move down in front of my right foot as the clone disconnects from my right fist and is jolted high into the air. As my left foot touches the ground the clone is at its peak of accent in the sky and ,

-poof-

He vanishes.
*note all the above happens in normal speed, I described it in parts so it seems like I am not going as fast. Just imagine it all happening as once motion* xD

"Okay Sensei, what do I need to improve on?"

Naw, I'm not, it's just funny. xD
---
While there was quite that calm look in L's eyes, I could not deny the vigorous passion I sensed behind it - within seconds, the performance was over, the painful grimace on my clone's eyes burned into my mind as I merely nodded, once again reminded of the rather...might I say, terrifying talents this student had.
"Okay sensei." He turned to me, that same questioning, innocent gaze back in his eyes. "What do I need to improve on?"

Snapped out of my state, I found myself bumbling for a moment. "There's nothing needing improvement right now," I responded. "The only thing would be that the move you just learned was basically a potential pre-attack to another one. My clone definitely poofed from the force of your move along, but a real opponent wouldn't, you'd probably hear crunching of bones, jaundice, and then liver failure, nonetheless, when he is in the air, he is also vulnerable to your upcoming attacks, and also, to the effects of gravity, so you can utilize it much like a chained attack."

And of course, a sensei's chakra seemed to be infinite, so another clone was created. "Continuing the series," I said. "This next move is rather simple...or somewhat simple. Just pretend you are Obi-Wan, ready to use the force..."
I coughed.
"Erm, pretty much, form a palm aimed at my clone's chest, striking him in a perfectly straight angle."

Haha, I won't exploit your creativity again so don't worry xD
But in the meantime, I have to somehow match your witty replies xD It is rather long this time, so I understand if you resort back to your once a month reply routine ;-)

. . . . .

My Sensei was giving great advice, and I was trying my best to absorb all of this. However, I was feeling rather dizzy ..

I collapsed in a heap on the ground. However, Sensei seemed not to notice this at all and begins giving instructions for the next technique. He creates a clone as his chakra appears to be infinite, he seemed to have forgotten that my energy was not. We had been training intensely for a good 3 hours now..
He begins to compare the technique to Obi Wan and the force. I was so far out of it, for a second I thought this technique would allow me to use the force. It takes a moment after Sensei had finished giving instructions, for him to notice me drifting between consciousness and unconsciousness on the ground.

He raises an eyebrow.

"L what on earth are you doing ?"

I couldn't believe he was so oblivious. I manage to stay conscious and I answer his question.

"Well Sensei ..," It was awkward to speak to him from the ground, my cheek pressed into it making my face look slightly distorted. "It is all well and good for you to train me and simply instruct me what to do, however, I am the one who has to physically train. It is actually tiresome after 3 hours you know .. I can't do anymore .. I need .. I need .. some cake."

Sensei seemed to ponder over my words for a moment, before he nodded.

"Okay L, I guess you are right. I tend to forget to give my Students training breaks. We can head back to the main village now and get some cake to eat or whatever you want to re-energize yourself. But when we get back we shall continue on with this technique, sound good?"

Sound good ? Did it ?I suddenly recovered from my collapsed state and was on my feet ready to go to the village and get some CAKE !

Sensei begins to question my sudden boost of energy and begins to suggest that maybe I did have enough energy to perform just one last technique. I ignore this accusation and simply tell him to hurry up and I bound ahead of him to the Village's square.

. . . . .

Once we get to the main village we seat ourselves in a cafe and I ask Sensei what he would like and I go up and take the orders.

"Hi there, could you please give me that cake.. and that cake .. oh and that cake.. and this one.. " I tell the clerk, pointing at a dozen or so cakes through the window of the cabinet where the cakes were. I raise an eyebrow as the clerk begins to take only one slice from each.
"Ummm, excuse me. I want the cake, as in all of it please." I say that a bit too sassy and this prompts the clerk to give me an annoyed glance, but nevertheless, he does as I say. I then have to remember Sensei's order. He wanted a slice of chocolate cake, but I had just taken the last of the chocolate cakes for myself. He wasn't having any of mine, so I guess I had to order him something else. I scan the cabinets that had suddenly become empty. I spot a cake I had missed out and no surprises as to why I had, it was vegetable cake. Sensei could have that one.
"Oh and give me the vegetable cake too please."

I go back to my table where Sensei was and we wait for the cakes to be delivered. When they do come, Sensei goes in to reach for my chocolate cake. I swipe his hand away and tell him, that there was no more chocolate cake for him, I took the last one. However, I tell him that lucky for him, he had a nice student like me to take the initiative and get him another cake. I place the vegetable cake in front of him, and he seems turned off by the lettuce pieces that were poking out from it.

He says he will pass on the cake and for some unknown reason, stares at me angrily as I devour my helping.

You must be registered for see images

When I am done, and we go to leave the cafe, Sensei seems shocked that he was paying for the $1K bill. I thought it was obvious the whole time, I don't have money for so6p sake !

He ends up rightfully paying for the food, but starts verbally abusing me when we leave. He says things like,
"$1000 Dollars on CAKE ?!.." "You have a serious problem!" "If you knew I was paying, it was rude to take so many!"
I couldn't understand him on that last part, I didn't order many cakes at all.

He then storms off ahead of me as we walk back to the clearing that we had been training in. He tells me that I am the worse student he had ever taught, he hated me, and that I was lucky that he wasn't dropping me from training. He continues his verbal onslaught as we walk, his back towards me as he was ahead of me.

That is when I get an idea.

I remember Sensei's instructions from earlier.

"Erm, pretty much, form a palm aimed at my clone's chest, striking him in a perfectly straight angle."

I also remember what he said about me only striking a clone.

"My clone definitely poofed from the force of your move along, but a real opponent wouldn't, you'd probably hear crunching of bones, jaundice, and then liver failure . . "

Well, how about I don't perform the next technique on a clone, how about I hear this crunching of bones for myself. . .

I think of something that would make Sensei turn around and reveal my right palm, nice and flat and begin running at my Sensei.

"Hey Sensei, you know your girlfriend, I'd tap that. LOL oh wait, Actually I already have.. "

That did the trick. Sensei, clenched his fists and clicked his neck left then right. He then proceeded to turn around saying,
"That's it, you are going to see a real Taijutsu master in action .. "

However, as he turned square on to me, it was too late for him to be following through with any threats. I strike him in the chest square on, with my right palm, my right arm perfectly straight. The force of my strike was increased due to my initial run up. And as I came in for the strike, I had pushed off hard with my right foot so that my right palm drove into his chest with greater force as well.

Everything is going in slow motion, my right palm has struck Sensei's chest and my Sensei seems stunned by what is happening to him.

* I want to see what you will do now that you have been struck, so I won't say whether my Strike was countered by you or not, you can continue the story *
xD

>_> This is nothing like my personality, haha, but it was a great read.
---
It was quite the unexpected strike, but already angered from L's previous actions, I hardly felt it. Not to mention, he had just started Taijutsu, so his physical attacks still needed a lot of work. Using my non-dominant hand, I raised it to grab L's arm, gripping it tightly as I dragged him forward, striking his chest with my right shoulder as I released my grip at the same time, sending him a couple feet back.

I clapped loudly for attention. "Alright, time to exercise all that sugar! We're not resting until we've gone through another slew of Taijutsu! With all the cake you've somehow managed to consume, I'm sure you've got enough energy to last you a whole month."

I formed a clone, gesturing at it. "Do to him exactly what I just did to you with my shoulder."

@bold- I didn't know you'd take it so literally haha. But seriously, there is no rush for my training. Reply when you can, I saw how many people you train (o_O) I am one of the more patient ones, as long as you are still training me, it doesn't matter how long you take to reply, I'll learn in the end xD

. . . . . . .

Sensei, didn't need to clap for attention. The pain in my chest at the moment was more than enough to get my attention. I rub my chest which was in agony as I listen to Sensei, it seemed he forgot that although my attacks didn't have that much of an effect on him, his did.

"Alright, time to exercise all that sugar! We're not resting until we've gone through another slew of Taijutsu! With all the cake you've somehow managed to consume, I'm sure you've got enough energy to last you a whole month."

I couldn't speak, so I simply nodded. I watch then as Sensei creates a clone and says,

"Do to him exactly what I just did to you with my shoulder."

Well, all I have to do is recall what Sensei did to me just moments ago. Grab the clones dominant hand, grip his hand tightly as I drag him forward and come in at him with my right shoulder; at the same time releasing my grip and sending him backwards.

I wondered how I was going to go about this technique given these circumstances though. It wasn't like the clone would let me grab his hand in this situation. I decide that I will simply run at the clone, then jump into his chest with my shoulder. The momentum from running then jumping along with the fact that I use my dominant shoulder to strike his chest, should make for a devastating strike.

So I do just that.

I run at the clone, building up speed and momentum. When I am within jumping distance of him, I push off with my right foot and fly towards him. As I am about to come into contact with the clone, I thrust my right shoulder forward, striking him in the chest sending him backwards.

-poof-

He vanishes. During this whole time, I had forgotten about my own pain in my chest. But now that I had performed the technique, it was back.. I massaged it hastily and decided to ask Sensei a question, a question whose answer will hopefully prevent me being struck with such a technique ever again ..

"Sensei, what do you think would be some good counters for this technique? Both Taijutsu counters and Ninjutsu (incl. element etc) counters?"
