The question here is, can you be patient with me? :D

I believe you are pretty new to the RP although I'm sure you already got some ideas of how it all works or how it's supposed to work. Now, before we actually start, I'd like to cover some basic terms. Can you tell me what a ninja is, chakra, ninjutsu, elements?

Of course :D
Basic terms:

1. A Ninja-
A ninja (also called Shinobi) is someone who devotes their lives and abilities in achieving a goal they set out to accomplish.
They are dedicated to their work, whether it deals with the military power, manual labor or even acting as escorts or bodyguards.
Ninjas are expected to be loyal to their respective villages and to be protective towards it.
A female ninja is known as a Kunoichi.
Missing ninjas are ninja who left their village without the intention of returning and severing ties with the said village, often because they have committed criminal acts or to pursue other personal gains.

2. Chakra-
Chakra is the combined energy within a person. It is the combination of physical energy (Yang) and spiritual energy (Yin).
Most ninja have a natural affinity to one type of chakra, but they have the capacity to create elemental chakra apart from their own affinity.
Ninjas that high levels of chakra either have high levels of physical energy, like Tsunade or Ay, or they have immense levels of spiritual energy. Increasing spiritual energy is more difficult that increasing physical energy.

3. Ninjutsu-
Ninjutsu is the art of utilizing chakra to do scientifically impossible tasks, like walking on water, walking up a three, thus defying the laws of physics. Most of the time, the effectiveness of jutsus rely on the use of chakra and hand seals. The basic handseals are: Bird (酉, Tori),Boar (亥, I),Dog (戌, Inu),Dragon (辰, Tatsu),Ox (丑, Ushi),Tiger (寅, Tora),Snake (巳, Mi),Rat (子, Ne),Horse (午, Uma),Monkey (申, Saru),Hare (卯, U),Ram (未, Hitsuji).

More complex ninjutsu's entail medical ninjutsu, in which every aspect of chakra should be controlled and refined to perfection, in a medical ninja.

4. Elements-
The basic elements are Wind Release (Fūton), Water Release (Suiton), Fire Release (Katon), Earth Release (Doton)and Lightning Release (Raiton). The five basic natures are all connected to each other in a circle, each being weaker than one and stronger than another:
Fire is strong against wind but weak against water. Wind is strong against Lightning but weak against Fire.
Lightning natured chakra allows for Lightning Release which is strong against Earth but weak against Wind. Earth is strong against Water but weak against Lightning. Water is strong against Fire but weak against Earth.
Also, there is the kind of technique that can be classified as an advanced elemental technique; the advanced type combine two or three of the basics elements and creates a new one.
The elements can also be combined with taijutsu to create nintaijutsu techniques.

If I said anything wrong, please slap me with a glove lol

Nice, I love the mention of handseals which are of great importance in order to mold chakra. However, here are the somewhat "official" descriptions of each term which were explained to me by my sensei Scorps.

±± Ninja ±±
A ninja is someone who uses their full abilities in the service of his/hers beliefs, working to achieve a goal. This goal can be anything from peace to war, money, destruction, personal griefs or even revenge and can be shared with others or individual. Most ninjas are fighters and correspond to the bulk of the military force of the great nations. However, a ninja doesn't need to be a fighter. Even medics or a simple carpenter may, in times of need, use his abilities (medical knowledge or abilities in working with wood for example) to accomplish the goals he set to himself, following his beliefs.

±± Chakra ±±
Chakra is the energy that is formed through the passive combination of both the Physical and the Spiritual energies in a sentient being (every living being with a conscious mind has chakra). Physical energy corresponds to the vitality of the body and its own energy. Spiritual energy corresponds to the mind or spirit, and comes from the awareness and "soul" of each sentient being.

Some ninjas have high levels of chakra because they have great physical energy (like the Akimichi or even Tsunade) and others because of their spiritual energy (like the Uchiha and the Yamanaka). However, its much more difficult to increase the spiritual energy than the physical one, thus why all ninjas pass through intensive physical workout.

Yin and Yang are based on this same concept. Yin is the basis of the spirit while Yang the basis of the body. In this i won't go into more dept because there are 2 things to consider: Yin/Yang manipulation in our RP is different from the manga one and both are more or less inacessible.

Chakra flows in a circulatory system inside your body, in a way that much resembles the blood circulation. This circulatory system has 8 small reservoirs that act as both storage but also chakra regulation. These are the eight inner gates. Along your circulatory system, small "portals" exist that enable you to expell chakra from your body. These are called Tenketsu and there are 361 of them scattered allong the body. When a tenketsu opens, chakra poors out of it. Its by molding the chakra that comes out of the tenketsu that you produce ninjutsu and genjutsu.

±± Ninjutsu ±±
Ninjutsu, or Ninja Arts, is the ability to, through the use of chakra, accomplish tasks that would be otherwise impossible to do. Ninjutsu are done by 2 stepts: focusing your chakra and molding your chakra. Focusing is using your will power to "will" a portion of your chakra to do something. On the other hand, molding is giving your chakra a set of characteristics that will enable you to produce the desired end effect.

Think of the chakra flow as our breathing. Normally, it happens passively, without any conscious intervention. However, when you need to you can use your will to control it. Its the same with your chakra flow. Its happens normally without your consicious intervention. However, you can focus your chakra and make it produce something.

Now, molding the chakra is done by two basic principles: Shape Manipulation and Nature Transformation. These correspond to the two broad areas that one needs to change in the chakra to produce a jutsu. Shape manipulation pertains to the ability to give your chakra a desired form while Nature transformation pertains to the ability to give your chakra a desired set of characteristics/properties. Sometimes, to better mold chakra, ninja use Handseals. Handseals are simply hand gestures that allow the ninja to more easily concentrate and mold the chakra into the desired technique.
Regarding elements, I will put a few words on my own. As you already said there are basic 5 elements and they can be arranged into a circle, corresponding to their strengths and weaknesses. Those elements are Water > Fire > Wind > Lightning > Earth. Each of these is a natural occurrence in our world and through intensive studying and practicing we became able to manipulate and even create them. In the manga and anime you see regular ninja with one or two elements as their main traits but for the purpose of our RP, it's allowed to have all five. Each element has it's own characteristics and there are strong facts as to why some elements are stronger/weaker than other.

Fire is a dangerous element, capable of burning stuff in the matter of seconds. It's a very violent element because of its destructive power. It's main trait is heat, which is the cause to melting and incineration. It's important for you to notice that fire requires oxygen to burn. Since oxygen is a part of the air we breathe, no air would mean no oxygen. The counterpart would be more air resulting in more oxygen and a stronger fire. However, there are a few scenarios for this and I believe your teacher will explain these to you in your training. It's weak to water because it's easily extinguished but it's strong against wind because it "eats" the air and the oxygen. It's neutral against lightning and since none are solids they pass through each other. Fire with earth is a good combination because it can harden mud or turn regular earth into lava.

Wind is the most versatile element in our universe because it's everywhere around us. Again, air is not a solid but using our chakra we can condense it into sharp projectiles, blades and such. One of its components is oxygen which makes the fire burn. The interesting thing here is the amount of wind (air) you put up to the fire. With a small amount you make the fire burn stronger and spread faster while with a huge amount of air you will put the fire out. Because it contains oxygen it is, unfortunately, weak to fire while being a natural insulator it's strong against lightning, capable of dispersing it and preventing its spreading. As mentioned it's a good combination with water because, for example, it gives a water projectile more thrust power and it speeds it up. This is also applicable to various ninja tools, so keep that in mind. Regarding earth, they're neutral but there can be some interesting usages. For example, picking up dust from the ground, small rocks or even making giants patches of earth float above the ground, and such.

Lightning is, again, a very violent and sharp element, capable of paralyzing and burning our opponents. It is considered to be the fastest of the basic elements. It's generated by its molecules being forced to move at a great velocity which causes it to be unstable to a degree. Lightning is weak against wind, as I already said, because wind is a natural insulator while it's very strong against earth, being capable of destroying it and crumbling into pieces. It's a very good combination with water because it electrocutes it, while it's neutral to fire because of reasons I already mentioned.

Earth is once again a versatile element because we walk on it. Mostly everywhere you walk, you will be able to use earth techniques, which gives a great advantage against water users when battling without nearby water sources. It is a solid element with great crushing and piercing characteristics. It has a tremendous amount of applications thus why it has the most techniques. It's projectiles possess a great force because of their mass and it's proportional to the increase of acceleration. It's simple logic. The faster you throw a rock the more it will hurt, lol. Earths' main weakness is lightning as mentioned above, while it's strong against water because it can split water waves, redirect them, push them back, etc. Mass is the key. It's a great combination with fire because, as mentioned, it turns it into lava or in case you have mud, it hardens it. And as I already said, it has it's unique applications in conjunction with wind.

Now to the element of choice for this training session. Water is a liquid element and can be found anywhere in our world. I won't go into specific numbers but you're aware that a lot of stuff is made of water or has water in it. This makes it a very versatile element, the second most versatile actually. Water is strong against fire because of its extinguishing power, but it's weak against earth because it can't break it down and it only makes it wet. Note however that in some cases water turns earth to mud which can be useful but also a double egde. Regarding the other two elements, water is very good in combination with both. Lightning electrocutes the water while wind gives it more force and makes it generally stronger.

Any questions?

I understand everything. Reminds me of Chemistry and Geography class :)
No questions so far.
Alright then. What can you tell me about the water element chakra-wise? How would you theoretically use your regular chakra in order to create water chakra? I suggest walk over to the lake up to your neck deep, relax and focus on your breathing. Try to imagine the chakra flowing and the processes it goes through in order to "transform". Describe everything you feel.

*I walk over to the lake, and I go in the water, neck deep. I then close my eyes and I relax my body and I start to focus on my breathing. I start to think of the characteristics of water, all of its properties. As I begin doing this, I begin to feel as if the water and me are one with each other. I feel the freeness of the water as it flows and envelops my body; I feel stable.
I feel somewhat connected with the water, my chakra and water seem to bond, and I feel as if I can convert my chakra to water.
Lastly, I felt as if I can reshape the water to my will*

How's that?

Good, now using that I want you to exert some chakra through your hands. However, we will need something called a chakra paper. If you don't mind stepping out and drying for me, before doing. I don't want you to cheat. :p Now, a chakra paper is a paper that reacts to your chakra and it will show us if you really can manipulate water chakra. If you do, then the paper will become wet. You simply put it in between your palms while you sit down, close your eyes and relax.

*I step out of the water and stand in the open field, drying my skin for hours in the wind. Then after I'm finished drying myself, I realize I had a towel all along, and I hit myself with a rock. I carefully place the chakra paper between my palms and I sit down and start to relax and close my eyes. I start to slowly channel some chakra through my hands to my palms.
10 seconds passed, then 20, and I started adding more chakra and all of a sudden, the paper became dampened.
*Yay, it worked*

Haha, good good. :)

Now, just before we start with the techniques, there's one more important thing I'd like to point out. Each element has something called categories in which jutsus can be divided. They can be projectiles, balls, currents, waves, etc. Without further ado, I'd like to copy the content from the Method Training Guide made by Reborn because it's an amazing guide that will help us get through this training.

水遁
Suiton

Element Explanation
Water is a more or less passive element by nature. It flows freely and takes the shape of whatever it is contained in. I call it passive as it is a yielding element which goes and flows however the external forces and nature dictate it to. For example; still water will move and ripple at the slightest touch, a river flowing straight will move around a rock and take an alternate direction instead of just going through the rock. Wind can cause water to move in different directions. This is one of the reasons why water, a yielding element, is opposite to earth, an unyielding element. That rock in the bank of the river will not move for the water, it will stay firm. If the rock were to walk through the river straight, the water would go around the rock, not the other way around. This is a rudimentary understanding, however water itself can be very powerful and forceful. A large enough mass of water may disroot the rock if strong enough. Water may be condensed to a fine area and move at great speeds to cause a powerful impact. That is where variables come in, which is what any element manipulates, the variables of the properties that can enhance an element's potential. If you want to look at things in terms of balance, Taoism and philosophies behind water and it's general movement. Water is the Yin half, not forceful, yielding and water redirects energy instead of meeting it head on. The Chinese Internal styles of martial arts talk about redirecting your opponents force back onto them which is essentially a property of water (the redirection that is). Force is not met with force rather the force is allowed to continue until redirected suddenly, often times against even harder forces that are much stronger. An example would be if somebody were to punch you. They are traveling in one direction at a certain speed. You simply move out of the way while guiding the fist further in that direction, increasing the speed. Should there be a wall behind them, they make impact with that wall and most often hurt their hand.

Method System
Method 1: Basic Projectiles
Method 2: Streams/Water Sources
Method 3: Water Manipulation
Method 4: Alternative Releases (Water/Oil/Syrup)
Method 5: Specifics (Body Liquid)

Method 1: Basic Projectiles

Alright these techniques involve creating projectiles like shuriken or kunai. Shuriken and Kunai are examples of projectiles and are not limited to that scope. When you hear and think of projectiles, you think of objects that you launch or project towards your opponent. They're something that leaves your possession and treavels towards your opponent. There is nothing different when it comes to suiton projectiles. All you're doing is launching water at your opponent as you would any other projectile. Now, with water and any other element that uses projectiles you tend to use a lot of shape manipulation. Reason is, is because you need to make the projectiles strong enough damage your opponent (pierce them, knock them back with blunt force, etc). Water or any other element at its base is just raw unformed element. By using shape manipulation you form the shape of the projectile you want. As well, you also compress the element to a degree which allows for a certain density which is always good. With these water projectiles, you will be exhaling them from the mouth. You will first inhale and focus the chakra from your core and channel it up into your lungs and mouth. You will then exhale; the chakra you gathered in your lungs helps propel the water, and the mouth is the point of release. You use shape manipulation to then form the water into whatever shape you need it to be, whether it be a ball or something more advanced like a shark. The water is also compressed in a tight container (the boundaries you create by shaping it) therefore when it makes impact with the target they'll generally receive a blunt impact that knocks them back, has the capability to knock the wind out of them, bruise them, maybe break bones or damage the organs and cause shock. Also, if fast enough and small enough, the density from the tightly compressed nature and the speed may be able to pierce like a bullet. Using other mediums of release for projectiles, you would simply channel your chakra into a different location and then follow the rest of the procedures of releasing the water, and shaping it for the desired effect.

Advantages to Method

Techniques in this category are quick releases, designed to attack in short to long range scenarios against big single targets, with normal movement speed. Just like projectiles, once they leave your hand it frees you up to attack again with more projectiles or even other types of techniques. Techniques in this category allow for you to launch several shots in succession in most cases allowing you to barrage your opponents from several different angles possibly or use them as a distraction or ploy to force them in directions that would be beneficial to you. Large enough projectiles will make it difficult for your opponents to avoid, but not impossible. There can be issues with visibility, allowing you to block your opponent's vision while you plot a sneak attack. However visibility aspect is a double edged sword in most cases. You won't necessarily be able to see them unless you have sensory abilities. These techniques are better used in closer distances to disable both the ability to dodge and counter but also to make full use of the speed of these projectiles. The closer you are, the less time they have to hit the opponent.

Disadvantages to Method

Though quick in release, once projectiles are released you have no control over them. It's generally the same in every case with projectile based weaponry minus attachments like wire that allow you control. However in the case of chakra based projectiles like these, after exhaling exit from the point of release there is no real control over the projectiles. The direction you've launched is where it will go and it could be very easy to avoid them with basic techniques that could move you out of the line of fire, like Earth Release Technique or the popular hurricane fist into the air. There is the problem of the rapid fire projectiles. As said previously, as you're allowed to fire multiple shots from certain techniques, yet they don't all have the power of that particular rank, their collective power combined = the rank of the technique as a whole. What this means is, as you divide the projectiles into several shots, they considerably get weaker allowing for your opponent to exploit the weakness. Some techniques may converge at a single point (usually the target) so that they may not be able to avoid harm by just attacking individual shots, there is still that possibility. Those who try to cover a wider range with more projectiles will leave themselves at a disadvantage. The opponent can protect just their frontal or the area of where they're attacking by using weaker attacks protect against individually weaker fireballs or fire projectiles. Another big disadvantage is this method is that these techniques aren't very prone to combos with other techniques, especially those of other elements. The projectiles are generally so compressed and dense that they explode on contact, preventing them from melting or heating earth that could be used in a combo with them. The sheer concept of a projectile makes it less prone to be comboed with wind or lightning as the projectiles would require insane precision to be comboed with a wind or lightning technique. Projectiles aren't also very usable with water for the same reason as earth as the projectiles would simply "rupture" and not deliver its effect due to the small time in contact with the combo technique. The main disadvantages are that projectiles are fast yes, but less versatile in combat and for the most part, easy to defend (Credit to Scorps).

Method 2: Streams/Water Sources

This method involves creating constant streams of water as well as creating water sources. What I mean is, the techniques in this method continuously releases water and/or creates such a large mass of water, it provides a suitable water source for you to use other Suiton techniques that do need a source of water. Now what this would mean is, you have to constantly fuel the techniques with your chakra in order to keep the on pour of water coming out or else you will not be able to create the streams or the large masses of water. These techniques don't generally require a large amount of shape manipulation. Some techniques do however most are just you creating a mass of water or stream of water where you would, therefore, simply pour your chakra into the technique and create an unfocused wave of water that travels towards your destination. These techniques also provide you with a wider and, potentially longer, range of reach to your opponents. There is also the granted advantage of control over the technique. As opposed to projectiles, where you release them and their self-sustaining nature takes over and there is no further control from the users, most of these techniques allow for you to manipulate in different general directions to allow you to hit your target even if they move out of the immediate range.

Advantages to Method

As stated, these techniques give one a greater range of control over the technique seeing as the user will be constantly pouring their chakra into a continuous stream. As the technique is being released it can change the original path you have and make it go other places in the event your opponent tries to avoid it or blocking it with an obstruction. Another major advantage is the fact that some of these techniques are capable of creating water sources. With a large enough technique from this method creating a water source it opens up several more techniques in the element that requires a water source. This, of course, only applies when there isn’t any water already available to you.

Disadvantages to Method

The biggest disadvantage to this method is that, like all streams, these techniques prevent you from using another technique while this technique is currently active. The reason is, these techniques require you to constantly fuel them with chakra and thereby drawing your focus into them for the duration of the technique. If somebody goes for a different angle which requires you to defend, you’ll likely have to end the technique pre-maturely.

Method 3: Water Manipulation

Alright, so we've covered techniques that come from one's own body, creating projectiles, streams and even our own water sources. Now we're onto techniques that require the usage of an existing source of water. This method focuses on using water from a water source and manipulating it to form the techniques we want. When going about using these techniques, you expel the chakra from your body into the water source as opposed to the previous methods where you'd manifest the chakra itself into water. There are a few exceptions I believe, within this method, however most of these techniques require a water source in order for you to use them. Now, the properties of these techniques vary. There may be projectile type techniques or continuous techniques that require you to constantly focus chakra in order to use. In essence, these techniques may exhibit qualities of water techniques in previous methods but the unique thing about this method would be that you'd need a water source for these.

Advantages of Method

TBA

Disadvantages of Method

The main disadvantage to this method is the fact that these techniques require a water source in order for you to use. Unlike the last method where you are capable of manifesting large masses of water out of nowhere and even creating a water source, these techniques require a medium that is outside your constant realm of access. In battles where you do not have the pre-existing source of water you become incapable of using these techniques or become forced to set yourself up with a technique that provides you a water source.

Method 4: Alternative Releases (Water/Oil/Syrup)

This method will be easy. Basically these are techniques that create a different substance than the water, however, they still fall within the category of Suiton release. They are liquids that possess different properties than ordinary water, for example: Oil and syrup. Oil is a flammable substance, one wouldn't use this to combat fire but rather fuel it, and with syrup you create a much stickier viscosity of liquid that doesn't necessarily flow as fast as water but it gives a more adhesive property to it.

Advantages to Method

They don’t follow the traditional rules for suiton techniques meaning the techniques have a fairly new set of rules that govern them. This is both an advantage and a disadvantage. It is an advantage as you become capable of using these techniques in situations where you may not normally be able to because of an elemental weakness or some other occurrence.

Disadvantage of Method

As said above, the fact that these techniques don’t follow traditional suiton rules also comes as a disadvantage. Though you may be able to use these techniques in situations where you normally couldn’t at the same time you may become vulnerable in another situation where you weren’t previously with other water techniques. For example; you wouldn’t use an oil rain technique when your opponent is spewing a fire at you. Oil augments fire and even though it’s still “water release” it is a disadvantage.

Method 5: Specifics

Basically, these are techniques that don’t fall within the above listed categories. These techniques may possess similar qualities to the techniques in some of the other methods, however, for the most part they are more unique in their abilities and aren’t classifiable in this system together in other methods

Advantages of Method

Advantages are dependent on the individual technique

Disadvantages of Method

Disadvantages are dependent on the individual technique

Alright xD
Sorry for the late reply, had to get my eyes tested, thank you very much :rage:

*I begin concentrating my water chakra from my core and then I slowly start to tunnel it into my lungs and then my mouth. I slowly start to exhale the water chakra and I dispell it from my mouth. It comes out in the form of a missile, or so it seems, and it lands a couple meters infront of me*
Did I do it right?

I need to stress out the importance of shape manipulation. When you become a master of all five elements and a sensei and what not, it won't really matter to your description, but right now it does. I need you to focus on shape manipulating your techniques until it becomes a second nature to you and until you realize that it's the most important part of the technique. You can gather a B ranked portion of chakra in your system ready to burst, but if you don't focus correctly, with the correct handseals and shape manipulation, it can be any technique from the B rank list: a projectile, a wave, a bubble... So, do it once more and focus your chakra into a bullet as you exhale it.

Okay!
*I begin concentrating my water chakra from my core and then I slowly start to tunnel it into my lungs and then my mouth.I perform the tiger handseal, to help mold my chakra. I try to manipulate it into a water bullet using shape manipulation. I open my mouth to release the water bullet and I apply more chakra to further mold it into a perfect bullet. I spit it a couple of meters infront of me*

How's that?

You shape manipulate it as you release it. If you were to spit a water wave you couldn't shape manipulate it in your lungs. And the bullet you just created, I have a feeling that you're thinking of an actual bullet size, but the ones we're doing are much bigger. So to wrap this up:

I start slowing down my breathing, clearing my mind and focusing on the next technique I'm about to perform. I start stirring up my chakra through my circulatory system and I have it flow steadily, mimicking real water and its properties. As I do so, I start gathering it in my solar plexus, the main center, and I have it grow and accumulate. Through the process I perform several handseals as a hoax to cut down on the molding time and to mold more chakra for a stronger technique. Upon gathering the necessary amount, I forcefully push the chakra from my plexus towards my mouth and as I release it I shape it into a half-human sized water bullet that quickly races towards the nearby tree and cuts it loose at the point of collision.

Back in my day, we were tortured until we got the descriptions as our teachers wanted. Today, I don't stress about performing the techniques because a lot of them are repetitive. This is why they were divided by similarity. However, if you can't perform a whole group correctly, how am I to expect you to perform each of them too. So get yourself together and impress me.

*I sit down and I begin concentrating, relaxing and slowing down my breathing rate. I begin gathering my chakra and I make it flow freely, imitating the characteristics of water. I start focusing it in my center and I start to expand it. I weave the necessary hand seals to help mold more chakra, to better the technique I’m about to perform. I begin forcing the chakra towards my mouth and as I release it, I start to manipulate into a large water bullet that races to a nearby oak tree, and smashes the tree in half*

~I suck at this :T_T:
