Perform it: I gather a lot of chakra and materialize it into the air right above my palms. With the large amount of chakra, i compress it into a single ball of chakra, resembling a Rasengan. I continue by having it rotate in all directions, allowing me to create a fast spinning dense ball of wind in the palms of my hand. With careful chakra manipulation, i make sure to have it rotate in all directions while maintaining its dense characteristics, and even all that, i would make sure they rotate within a small space so it would stay at the shape of the ball. (My clone doing that) Now the real me comes and puts my hand slightly above the rasengan and perform nature transformation to change the nature of that chakra into one of the basic 5's.
Fire- I guess by using nature transformation on a normal rasengan, it would create flames around the rasengan which would deal burning damage as well as the usual damage from force.
Earth- I think it would have earth particles floating around the rasengan... not sure, and the earth would deal extra force damage because of the sturdy properties of earth.
Wind- Okay, this is just pure damage lol. Tons and tons of damage including cutting and slicing damage
Lightning- Meh, not sure. possibly a rasengan with lightning around it or rasengan composed of lightning, this would be able to shock the opponent and possibly paralyze them
water- water around the rasengan, idk how it would be offensively but i think it would add to the density of the rasengan or the durability.
Offensive uses; I would use this technique like how i would use a normal rasengan because it is, generally, the same. I need to get myself to close-range with my opponent in order for this to hit. By doing that i would use a technique offensively, for them to defend like a wind blade technique. Once that is done i can use a genjutsu to paralyze them or use the water technique that creates a orb of water around them. And if theyre on water, id use the lightning elemental rasengan.
Defend against it: Using the element that counters the element that the elemental rasengan is using. I would also avoid getting too close to my opponent for it can be deadly and i would keep my distance if they try running towards me with a rasengan in their hands, because they can change its nature rather quickly. I could use nagashi if they are close.
