This is a basic lightning technique that doesn't require any hand seals. It doesn't do much either. This jutsu just makes a ball of electricity in your hands. You can then launch the ball toward your target up to mid range. This is a simple jutsu to counter as any wind blast technique stronger can over power it easily. I don't know if there are any true ways to combine this with other techniques since it is just a ball of lightning, you could fire the ball of lightning into a water bullet to make a combo but there isn't really much else unless you try to be really creative.

Another technique that doesn't require any hand seals. This just creates a field of electricity around you body that can protect you from certain earth jutsu and also prevents the opponent from touching you. This is a good jutsu to use if your opponent is using a weak earth jutsu so that you can overpower it. But one this to keep in mind with this technique is that while you are using it, you cannot perform other jutsu. So it's simply use it once then end it. Plus because you surround your body with electricity the amount of techs you can use even if you can use any is several limited. Just use it for one purpose then end it imo.

- how you will use the technique offensively I would maybe use a simple water technique or use a normal water to drench them and having them get wet. Once they are, i can throw the ball at them to electrocute them, though i doubt it will have the potential to paralyze them.
- how you can defend against the tech This technique is a lightning technique that is C-rank, so defending against it would take any wind technique since wind is strong against lightning. I can use a stronger wind technique that is B-rank, to break the sphere of lightning apart and go through my opponent. I can get far from it by going into long range where it can't reach me.
- whether or not you find the technique useful or interesting Meh, pretty boring but i like the idea of it, its like a lightning rasengan!

I use nature transformation as i release it to turn it to actual lightning, and i use shape manipulation to shape it around my body and even it out.
- how you will use the technique offensively Okay i can use this technique offensively by using it against that C or B-ranked earth technique that covers your body with stones and earth to strengthen your taijutsu attacks. I could use this technique to pierce through the rocks and continue on to them. I can also mix it with taijutsu to deal extra damage by electrocuting them.
- how you can defend against the tech I would defend against this technique by using a wind technique C-rank or higher to cause damage. Because wind techniques are superior to lightning, they will take damage since the wind would easily overpower the lightning. I can also use a water technique to put it on them, maybe electrocuting them if i can.
- whether or not you find the technique useful or interesting I find this interesting and useful because if you use it in sync with taijutsu, each hit you make with tai will cause them to be electrocuted and can cause more damage then normal.

Descripton: By forming hand seals Snake → Upside down Tiger → Hands clapped together and running up a cliff face, the user causes stone and rock above him to become dislodged and rain down past him onto his opponents below by releasing a wave of electrical energy. However, this is extremely location-based and needs to be done uphill of a mountain for it to work.
I'm somewhat confused on why this is a lightning technique and not an earth technique, and I'm pretty sure there is an earth tech that does the same thing but I'll explain it in the lightning context. The user two hand seals then claps their hands together while running up a cliff. The user will then release the lightning into the ground as a wave which causes the rocks on the cliff to lose their hold on the cliff and loosen. The rocks because they are loosened will roll down the side of the cliff and hit the enemy at the bottom. Keep in mind that the location such as a cliff is important for this technique. There is no real way to combine this with other techs, to defend against it, strangely enough even an earth wall would work. There are many other ways depending on your necessities.

Nothing much except a lightning projectile. It requires no hand seals but does require you to channel and focus lightning chakra in your palm before you can release the bolts. The lightning is shaped into a horn then is released. The horn can be made to spread outward so that it can cover a larger range and attack more targets. To combine this offensively, I'd suggest using it with a narrow or specific technique to draw your opponent's attention to a single point, then using this broad attack to catch them off guard. A large enough wind blast should counter this no problem.

I gather a fair amount of lightning chakra in my body and channel it on my hands, then i perform the two handseals to mold my chakra in a certain way. I release that chakra in the side of the cliff and use lightning manipulation to change the nature of my chakra into actual lightning. I use my chakra to coat the lightning throughout the cliff side, hitting the rubbles and the ground loosening the boulders and rocks making them roll down to my opponent.
- how you will use the technique offensively This technique can only be used offensively in one way. By using this on the cliff sides with rocks and boulders you can have your opponent be crushed by these rocks and boulders and possibly even defeat them with that technique. I can also use this technique in conjunction with a genjutsu that will paralyze them so they cannot move or BoD so they won't see the rocks.
- how you can defend against the tech Defending like you said would be pretty easy, a simple Earth wall that is of a high level would suffice. I can also use an earth technique to create a trench or a lowered part of the ground in front of where the rocks would land, so they would not continue on to me and i would be able to dodge it.
- whether or not you find the technique useful or interesting Nah, it kinda sucks because you have to be in a cliff or near a cliff to use it, and most terrains in spars aren't in that certain terrain.
Question: I know this is a lightning technique but because rocks are the ones causing the damage, not lightning, can you use an earth technique C-rank to defend against it?

You require a sword for this technique but you do not need to perform any hand seals. It's simply a channeling technique that allows you to channel lightning chakra into your sword then use your chakra to levitate the swords. Then it is similar to shadow clone technique for objects as it creates two additional copies of the swords and you use your chakra to make the swords spin and control them to go toward your target and cut them with lightning. Not really much you can do to combine this with, and since you have to maintain the lightning, you can't perform this tech then follow up, you would probably need to do something first then follow up with this tech. Defending against it with almost any wind jutsu would work.

The user will then land slamming their palm onto the ground causing the electrical energy to become discharged sending out bolts of lightning into the ground and around them up to 5 meters.
Simply focus lightning into your palm and your forearm then slam your palm into the ground. The lightning will spread through the ground sending bolts of lightning into the ground short range around you. This is mostly useful to enhance taijutsu to add lightning chakra to one of you palm thrusts or to attack an opponent that might be underground beneath you. To defend against it simply get out of range. That is the simplest way.

- how you will use the technique offensively I would use this technique offensively against a kenjutsu user, since i myself haven't gotten too far in kenjutsu. Also, this technique can be used against shadow clones or any kind of clones to at least weaken them because if they make more than one clone it would be hard for the user to face against all of them. I can also use this when someone is under a genjutsu, having three of the blades come at different points and angles so once they release from it it would be hard to see the hidden ones.

- how you can defend against the tech Defending against this technique would be easier. You can raise the ground you're in with an earth technique or lower it so you won't be struct by the bolts of lightning, and/or you can use the B-rank wind technique to punch the ground to push yourself up and the lightning wouldn't stop it because wind is strong against lightning.
- whether or not you find the technique useful or interesting I find it both interesting and useful because the damage it does is not that bad and it can be preformed quickly.

- how you will use the technique offensively I would use this technique offensively when my opponent is within short-range, and as you said, during a taijutsu fight. If i quickly release the chakra in my palms and attack them with my hands during the taijutsu battle, they would be caught off guard. I could also use this technique to attack someone who is hiding behind an earth defense C rank or under, so it would continue on to them. Also, it is a great way to keep them far away from you.
- how you can defend against the tech Defending against this technique would be easier. You can raise the ground you're in with an earth technique or lower it so you won't be struct by the bolts of lightning, and/or you can use the B-rank wind technique to punch the ground to push yourself up and the lightning wouldn't stop it because wind is strong against lightning.
- whether or not you find the technique useful or interesting I find it both interesting and useful because the damage it does is not that bad and it can be preformed quickly.

As i release the chakra i perform nature transformation, i use that to transform the nature of my chakra into one that is piercing and zappy. (if that's a word o_o) With nature transformation i am able to change my chakra into actual lightning. I use my chakra to coat it around the lightning and shape it into a wall in front of me.
- how you will use the technique offensively Well no offensive uses whatsoever.. So defensive it is. I would use this defensively against earth techniques like projectiles. If i create a wall like this the earth will simply go through and it will crumble into pieces, which would be effective because lightning is strong against earth. Here's a weird idea, maybe if there's a technique that comes from the ground (stone spikes) i can have my hands faced down on top of the ground and when the earth needles/spikes come, it will turn into crumbles after hitting the wall of lightning.
- how you can defend against the tech Because this is purely defensive, i think you won't really have to defend against it. But if you want your opponent to stop this technique so they can't defend against the earth projectile, i think i would start off with a wind technique like wind blade. One of my personal favorite lightning techs because one could say that this is one of the few original lightning techs. There used to be a time when lightning actually had very very few jutsu. And most people just used the same lightning jutsu over and over. And this happens to be one of them. The concept is simple becaue you just gather lightning in your hand, shoot it into the sky, then you make it drop down. It cannot be time delayed and basically strikes as soon as it goes into the clouds. One of the reasons that tech is not used much is 1. there are much more lightning jutsu obviously and 2. because it is easy to defend. You can move out of the way, or you can block the lightning in the sky with a wind tornado. There are no true combos for this and its sort of a stand alone tech used to gauge an opponent.

If i use a water technique it would be likely for my opponent to defend with an earth technique, and because lightning is strong against earth, the lightning would easily pierce through the earth after the water technique fails.
- how you can defend against the tech I could use an earth technique to either lower the ground that my opponent is stepping on and/or raise the ground that i would be on so that we won't be at even pavement and they will miss. I could also defend against this technique by using a wind technique, like you said, to break through the lightning. Maybe hurricane fist, because i can punch the bolt and continue on ;3
- whether or not you find the technique useful or interesting I find it very useful as it does not need any handseals to perform and can go up to long-range.

- how you will use the technique offensively I think this would work well if my opponent is using an earth technique like a wall to defend against it. They wouldn't really see me releasing it and if i can get it over the wall it would hit them. If theyre vision isnt being blocked, i would release it and once it gets in the air, i could perform a genjutsu (BoD) so they wouldn't see it, making them get hit. :3

When it reaches the pillars, i perform nature transformation to transform the nature of my chakra to that of lightning, which turns it into actual lightning. I manipulate the lightning to have it shoot bolts of lightning from the pillars.
- how you will use the technique offensively I would get them while using BoD, the genjutsu to completely take their sense of sight away. Afterwards i perform this technique and by the time they figure out they are in a genjutsu and release from it, the pillars would already be up and possibly even have the lightning chakra in it. I would use the water technique that summons water 10 meters above my opponent so when the water and lightning attack my opponent, it would cause much more damage.

I would perform this technique when the wall of defense is covering my movements and I would have this technique simply go underneath the wall of earth. This will catch them off guard when they see lightning go from the ground at short range and because lightning travels fast.
- how you can defend against the tech I would defend against this technique by raising the ground that I stand in. If I do that, the slab of earth I raised would most likely be completely destroyed, but I won't get hit. I could also use hurricane fist so that I can aim it at the lightning to slow its movements and push myself out of the way.

- how you would perform the technique in battle I raise my two fingers from my left hand high in the air and begin channeling and concentrating chakra into it. I use that lightning chakra from my fingers to draw in the normal lightning in the clouds, since it has the same properties as my chakra because of how I performed nature transformation. When I draw in enough lightning I use my chakra to shape it into a bold right near my fingers. I throw it off to my opponent, shocking them.
- how you will use the technique offensively I would use this technique offensively to zap my opponent while they are distracted. I could use a water technique beforehand to completely soak them and then electrocuted them with the lightning I gathered. I could also trap them in a genjutsu to make them be paralyzed, so they cannot move and they cannot defend against the technique.
- how you can defend against the tech I would use a wind technique to neutralize the lightning technique because wind is strong against lightning. I could also use the four pillar bind to trap them in four slabs of earth and electrocuted them before they can tether enough electricity in the air.

- how you would perform the technique in battle I gather my lightning chakra in my left hand and slam that hand into the ground, releasing the chakra stored into the ground. I perform nature transformation to change the nature of my chakra into the properties of lightning. When this happens, I direct the lightning towards my opponent whole it is underground. When it approaches my target, I use my chakra to split the lightning and have it jump up in the form of lightning tendrils, which easily shocks and pierces my opponent.

An interestingly simple technique. All you do is create a field of water beneath the opponent (I believe this technique will create the field of water, then you add lightning to the water). I don't think there are many underlying secrets to this technique and it is best used stand alone unless you want to create a specific situation. To avoid it just avoid the water source first, if you avoid the water source, the lightning should have no effect on you.

You focus lightning chakra and turn it into a whip. Lol? Is there anything more to this. One thing I would like to mention about this technique and other lightning techniques is that back when there were a few lightning jutsu, each one served its own purpose, most of these new lightning jutsu perhaps just do the same thing over again or at a higher rank.

I perform nature transformation to transform the nature of my chakra into the fluid-like properties of water and have it appear right under them, creating a swamp-like small body of water. I then add more chakra, releasing my lightning chakra into the surface and underneath the water. I perform nature transformation once again to transform the nature of my chakra into the properties of lightning, and the lightning fries my opponent.
- how you will use the technique offensively I would use this technique offensively when my opponent is running towards me. If i use this wihle they are running it would obviously stop them from getting any closer and i would be able to attack with the lightning and shock them. I could also use this technique offensively by using dropping lid right after so if they try to get up, the lid will push them down.
- how you can defend against the tech I would defend against this technique by creating a trench or a deeper part of the earth so that the water would be drained out. I can use hurricane fist to punch the ground that is close to me and angle it so that it would lift me up or i could use an earth technique that is a high rank to lift myself up from the ground/water.
- whether or not you find the technique useful or interesting Kind of boring and its really easy to evade D:

After doing so, i release the chakra in the form of lightning but i add normal chakra to shape the lightning. I shape the lightning into a long whip and slash dummies with it.

I could also use this technique offensively by repeatedly whipping my opponent so that when they try to form handseals, it would be incredibly hard when a whip of lightning is repeatedly slashing their hands.
- how you can defend against the tech I would use a wind technique to slash through the whip to stop the normal flow of lightning chakra from the whip, and it would result in the whip disappearing. Maybe if i use a water technique to wet the whip at the part where my opponent is holding it at, they can get electrocuted but i doubt it would do much damage. I could also defend against this technique by staying out of range or moving a lot since it would be hard to aim.
