Immediately after being instructed to do so I nodded and began channelling raiton chakra within my right arm, I saw as the electrical bolts of lightning began generating around my forearm and knew it was time to move on to the next step so I swiftly slammed my palm onto to the ground releasing the said chakra into it, thus causing a discharged release of lightning bolts spanning over a 5 meters radius around myself.

After performing the Ox handseal I hold my hands out in front of me and begin gathering Raiton chakra within them. Once enough chakra hsa been gathered, I release my chakra applying nature manipulation to generate actual lighting and shape manpulation to create a wall of lightning in front of me.
I then begin channeling more raiton chakra within my body before releasing the chakra as lightning all around myself, this done with nature manipulation. I was also able to shape the lighnting as a dome around me using shape manipulation. Once this was done I looked at my sensei.

I am sorry that I didn't manage to reply before this however I had some issues with my laptop.. Let's get going onto the next set of techniques which are connected to Lighting Release. The first technique is a technique incorporated with upper body taijutsu movement. Essentially user would gather raiton chakra within their fists before releasing it from the same whilst applying basic principles of chakra manipulation, nature and shape to cause for creation of a lighting sphere. Once the sphere lands it would burst creating a localized electrical explosion.

Applying basic processes of chakra manipulation they would cause for four pillars to arise from the ground with lighting bolts at their peak from which a barrage of missiles will be released.

Once again I begin to channel lightning chakra within my fists. Once this was completed I release the chakra within my fists whilst using nature and shape manipulation to convert the chakra into a sphere of pure lightning around my fists and unleash it as an electrical explosion once I hit a training dummy.
I begin the next technique by gathering chakra within my hands and then raising them into the air, sending an electrical discharge into the clouds. This allowed my to manipulate the chakra I had sent into the sky and created lightning stikes wherever I wanted,and so I did. I willed the lightning to strike a pile of dummies that had been lying close-by (at about mid-range).
I then gather more chakra, begin performing the Ram → Boar → Dog → Bird → Hare hand seals and once again using nature and shape manipulation I convert my chakra into lightning chakra and release it into the ground around a training dummy, in the shape of a rectangle. I manipulated the chakra a little more, making it cause four pillars to rise form the ground around the dummy and unleash a barrage of lightning bolts to the dummy inside. I watched as the dummy turned to ash and then looked at my sensei with a smile.

This first technique requires quite a few of hand seals, Rabbit → Dog → Boar → Ram → Rat, and once performed user will release previously gathered raiton chakra from their hands either in an unfocused manner or further into a conductive material such as water to increase its potency. Something like this, for us mortals, can only be used in combination with summonings, clones or allies, whereas Darui is capable of doing it in the same time-frame. Keep in mind that this can increase damage of water techniques by +20, which is a great plus. It is pretty cool. Straightforward on the other hand however.

In vicinity to the target user can make the current split into multiple tendrils as to attack from separate angles a single target or attack greater amount of targets at once.

Once again Akasha walks off into the woods and another man walks onto the training grounds. I laugh to myself as I flashback to the time she taught me Katon release. I look at the white haired man and give him a warm smile before speaking.
"Ah, you must be Akasha sensei's new senpai. Alright, let's finish this shall we?"
I start by creating a clone of myself , performing the Rabbit → Dog → Boar → Ram → Rat hand seals and gathering lightning chakra into my hands. Once completed, I have my clone perform the "Water Release: Hand of waves" technique, whereby she would produce a fairly powerful jet of water from her hand. Simultaneously as she does this, I release the raiton chakra I had gathered from before into the jet of water.

Here's a little summary of how I do training. It may be a little different from Akasha's. Either way we'll accomplish the same. Once we finish the B-Ranks we're going to have a small spar which I'll use to see how well you have come to understand Lightning Release and the techniques we have learned so far. Then we will go through the A-Ranks and S-Ranks and I'll give you one final spar before I officially allow you to access the S-Rank techniques outside of training and mastery over lightning.
When it comes to the training itself I'll certainly RP with you if you'd like. If not that's totally fine. Completely up to you. But for the techniques I really want an open discussion about them. I want to hear what you think, how useful it is, anything interesting the technique may employ (some techniques are entirely boring so that is also a valid point. Don't feel you HAVE to find something). I know you can read and so can I. So summarizing the technique isn't a personal favorite of mine. You're welcome to perform them as you'd like, though. When I first give you techniques I won't really give you much information. I'll want to see what you know. And don't be afraid to say 'I don't know' or just be unsure. That's why were here and not in a real spar where you can lose based on a simple knowledge mistake or something like that. And I really want to emphasize asking questions. Ask anything you may want to know.

I receive three scrolls from the man and begin to carefully analyse them. Once that was done, I stand up and begin with the first technique. I first raise both my hands into the air whilst charging them with raiton chakra, then using nature manipulation I release the said chakra as lightning energy towards a pile of dummies. I then move on the second technique where I begin by channelling more raiton chakra within my palms. Using nature and shape manipulation once again, I release the said chakra, forming a lightning rope that I proceed to use as a whip on some training dummies. I then begin my the last technique by channelling some lightning chakra within my right hand, Using nature and shape manipulation to release it as a lightning hound. Once I was done with that I turn towards my sensei and begin speaking.
"Well, all three techniques are pretty cool and quick to perform seeing as they require no hand seals at all. So with the last two techniques I noticed that they are both connected to the user but the difference between the two, and correct me if I'm wrong, is that with the second one, the user is holding the lightning rope and is able to constantly manipulate it. With the third one, the user is is not holding the lightning but it is still connected to him via a lightning bolt. In my opinion, I think it's because this is a type of stream technique that requires the user to constantly feed it with lightning chakra in order to keep the hound's form. They require your constant maintenance meaning that you can't break your focus for other techniques of the same nature or different without some highly specialized techniques. Good job! I then move on to my next technique which was pretty simple. All I had to do was create a clone of myself like I normally do, but this time it had to be made of lightning, and so I did. I begin to channel raiton chakra within me before releasing and shaping it to look like me, thus creating a lightning clone of myself.

"Uh ... ... ..."

The clone can only use lightning techniques and only u to B- rank. The last technique is also very simple, requiring one to simply insert some lightning based chakra into any blade thus making it *air quotes* sharper, making it easier to cut through things. None of the techniques require any hand seals thus making them quite easy and quick to perform.

The last technique is also very simple, requiring one to simply insert some lightning based chakra into any blade thus making it *air quotes* sharper, making it easier to cut through things. None of the techniques require any hand seals thus making them quite easy and quick to perform.

Really sorry for the hold up.
Once again I receive three scrolls from my teacher and begin to carefully analyse them. I begin the first technique by performing the ram hand seal and gathering some raiton chakra into my right hand. I then raise that same hand into the air and release the said chakra thus causing for an electrical discharge to be triggered, shocking some training dummies. I then proceed to take out two large shuriken and channel some raiton chakra into them. Once done I throw them at some training dummies, aiming just to pin them down and making sure to maintain a connection with the shuriken through a electrical cable. The cable delivers a shock to the dummies. I then move on to the technique I read on the last scroll. I begin channelling some more raiton chakra into my hands after which I quickly and simply release it as a purple electric current that knocks back some more training dummies the were laying in front of me.
It is exactly as you said, the three techniques I just performed are very simple to perform. With the first one the user simply has to perform the ram hand seal and then raise his/her hands into the air, after that the tech pretty much does the rest. With the second technique the user can either choose to use two large shuriken or two windmill shuriken and then charge them up with raiton chakra. The user can now throw them at the opponent pinning them to the ground or a tree or whatever and shock them. The third tech simply requires one to channel chakra into their hands and then release the said chakra outwards as an electric current.

Description: The user manipulating their chakra generates a plasma barrier around them to serve as a defence which protects them from incoming attacks, even from something as wide-ranged as the Quicksand Waterfall Flow. However the user cannot use other techniques besides lightning release or physical based techniques while sustaining the technique. The user can rush at their opponents even if the barrier is active and use it to ram against them. The shield can be used offensively, by discharging the electricity in the direction of their choice in a wave resulting in using the energy of the barrier and ending its effects.
Note: Technique remains active for 3 turns.
( Raiton: Kaminari no Shōgeki Ame ) - Lightning Release: Lightning Shock Rain

I quickly read through the scrolls and begin with the first technique I had to perform. I begin by channelling chakra all around me and then begin manipulating it to form a plasma barrier around myself. I then released the plasma shield around myself as an electric wave by discharging it outwards towards a pile of dummies. Once that was done, I once again begin to gather chakra withing myself before channelling it into my hand as a condensed ball of lightning chakra and throwing it into the air above myself. The orb stayed in the air a few seconds before releasing a continuous rain of lightning bolts all around me.
"I'm guessing that's the last of the B-ranks? Both really good techniques, I really like the first one. Without the use of any hand signs, the user is able to create a barrier of protection around themselves. I don't really mind that the user is not able to use other techniques that aren't lightning based, I mean it's better than not being able to use anything at all. Another cool thing about the tech is that you can use it offensively as well by discharging the barrier outwards to your opponent. My question here is, could you discharge it inwards to shock yourself out of a Genjutsu for example? Because that would be neat. Anyways, on to the next tech. This one is also very cool because it allows the user to attack more than one target at once, the only problem is that the opponent would be able to counter it before it came to that due to the fact that it hovers in the air for a while before releasing the many lightning bolts. Other than that, I really like both the techniques.
