My goal is to be a great shinobi. One of a shinobi's most valuable assets is his use of ninjutsu. With proper ninjutsu training I'll have a better understanding of how to use my elements to their fullest potential, use weapons with a better skill level, an even be able to avoid attacks or keep myself hidden from my enemies who wish to do me harm.
Your answers are very similar, as you both acknowledge Ninjutsu as more of a foundation, and you are somewhat correct. With the introduction of this type of Ninjutsu, it is a basic term that also contains the basic five in it, but what you must keep in mind that this Ninjutsu is about the manipulation of pure chakra. Such an example of this would be what you said, such as cloning and summoning contracts. It is the fundamental, whereas you focus on manipulating raw chakra in conjunction with Ninja Tools, which I feel is very much underestimated these days. So, I want to talk about Ninja Tools a bit, if you don't mind. Generally, there are no restrictions regarding Ninja Tools, so use them as much and as creatively as possible.Literally was just on your profile Sensei
There are a few reason I want to learn Ninjutsu. The main being it is the basis of a Ninja. Ninjutsu takes in to part all the things a shinobi needs, his skillset. One cannot be a great shinobi without having great ninjutsu skills (unless you're Naruto). Another is that in order to become the Suiton master I intend, I need to complete ninjutsu. Ninjutsu is needed to master an element because it teaches you how to make clones out of that element (i think) and other stoof.
Shurikens or throwing stars are the second most commonly used ninja tool, generally used for throwing, and sometimes stabbing or slashing. They are sharpened hand-held blades made from a variety of everyday items, such as needles, nails, and knives, as well as coins, washers, and other flat plates of metal. Shurikens are mainly a supplemental weapon to the more-commonly-used sword or other various weapons in a samurai/shinobi's arsenal, though they often play a pivotal tactical role in battle.
Again, you both speak more of physical aspects, but Japan also covers the fact that both of the weapons mentioned above can be charged with chakra. This includes streaming lightning or even fire through threads like what Sasuke did, are both great ways to use Shurikens. Windcan definitely enhance these weapons as well. There are different types of shuriken, Windmill (collapsible) and a giant one, and ofc the basic ninja ones. They have 4 points normally and shaped kind of like a star. They too can be used in multiple ways. Whether marking positions or attacking an opponent or even deflecting their ninja tools. Like kunai they can be atatcked to wire for multiple purposes and charged with chakra to become mo' powerful.
