How was it unnecessary and forced? Law being a D. Has a huge meaning behind it. This is the reason why Law is allies with Luffy now as opposed to being a Donquixote pirate, this is what Corazon died for and most of all this is why we will get to see Kaido soon.

Jaguar being a fodder has nothing to do with his last name. Being a D. Doesn't mean that you have to be a future PK contestant or anything.

Law being a D. Has been hinted at and now we've gotten answers to alot of questions.

Not all D do that. Those who died smiling are those who lived without regrets and are happy in the way their life turned out. Look at Law's past and the way he is right now. He's been through alot and he aint happy until DD is murdered.
