| Looks:Law is a slim man of a relatively tall height. He has faint shadows right under his yellow eyes, and his mouth is usually seen in a smile. He has dark blue hair, a majority of which is obscured, save for his sideburns and small black goatee by the northern-style fur hat that Law wears, which is white and has spots on the bottom and along the rim. Originally he was seen wearing a black-sleeved and hooded yellow hoodie with his Jolly Roger out on the front of his chest and the sleeves rolled up. Law also sported a pair of jeans with odd markings on both the knee and ankle areas, similar to the ones on his hat, but darker in color, and a pair of dark, pointed shoes. He still has a pair of small earrings on each ear. He has many tribal-style tattoos on his arms; on both of his hands, are the letters D, E, A, T, and H tattooed in black on each of the back of his fingers. Originally in the manga, his left thumb was not tattooed, with the letter A missing. Later on all of his fingers were tattooed complete with all five letters. He also has a black cross on the back of both of his hands. On his chest, he has a tribal-style heart tattoo with his Jolly Roger on it. He has simpler heart tattoo on his shoulders and his Jolly Roger tattooed on his back. As a child, Law had his fur hat and his faint shadows right under his eyes, but wore a blue lab coat with a red tie, dark blue shorts and green shoes. After finding out his true nature for Dark Release, he lost the fur rim of his hat and replaced it with a thick bill, turning it into a rather spherical hat resembling a Wool Skipper. He also now wears a yellow t-shirt similar in appearance to his old sweatshirt with a black jacket over the shirt. He now sports the black jacket with the word "Corazon" printed on the back without his yellow undershirt. He wears black boots under his original jeans and still sports his gold earrings. |

| Personality: Law is an extremely laid-back character, who is nearly always seen smiling (although not with a huge grin.) The only times he is shown not smiling was when he is incredibly shocked, explaining something to other people, frowning in deep thought, or deeply embarrassed. However, he hates being ordered around. He is, however, capable of knowing when he and his immediate friends are in a pinch, and is not above resorting to forging brief alliances with rivals for survival. He speaks in a politely sarcastic manner. He appears to be honorable enough to refuse taking credit that is due to others. Law also appears to have a sense of honor (or at least respect for those he sees as potential rivals in the future). Despite Law's blunt and rather cruel demeanor towards others, he has shown to have some sense of compassion. Law is also very blunt when responding to people. As a child, Law was a sadistic nihilist who strived to destroy the world, citing that he did not have much time left to live. However, upon meeting Corazon, this has changed with Law becoming the person he is today. Because he murdered Corazon, Law has a deep hatred for Doflamingo and wants nothing more than to see his death, even at the cost of his own life. |

| Ninja Rank:Unofficial Sage Specialty: Wind, Earth, Genjutsu Wind-Law is extremely adept at Fuuton, it being his affinity. He can perform Wind with a single handseal. He is capable of switching between Wind techniques, as well as between wind and earth in quick succession. Earth: Law's second affinity, he is capable of performing Earth techniques faster than regular shinobi. Genjutsu: Law is also talented when it comes to Genjutsu, being able to strategically use it during battles. Weapon: Law's main weapon of choice is his sword. The sword is about as long as he is tall. However, Law is capable of wielding the sword with proficiency and in liquid movements. | History: Law was born in Kirigakure, but soon moved to Kumogakure. As a child, he lived with his mother in a city on the edge of the country that seemed to be permanently enclosed in winter, with constant snow and ice. This caused the city to be extremely poor, with Law living under horrible living conditions. His father had died in the Second Ninja War. One tragic day during an invasion on the country, a man broke into his house and attacked them. Law tried to fend him off, but due to lack of training, was unable to stop him. After being beaten by the man, Law watched in despair as his mother threw herself in the way of a high powered Katon. She died immediately and Law fell out soon afterwards. When he awoke, he was informed that the man believed they were both dead, and fled after stealing their possessions. After learning this, Law become a sadistic nihilist. He saw no value in his own life, nor the world, and wanted to destroy it all. Law strapped himself with multiple paper bombs, and snuck into a nearby palace. Within the palace was a man by the name of Doflamingo. Knowing he was of a powerful criminal group, Law sought them out to gain the power needed for him to destroy the world. Strapped with the bombs, Doflamingo had no choice but to hear Law out. Upon listening to his words, Doflamingo became keen to him, and had his brother Corazon take Law in. Corazon was in charge of Law's training, and began to teach him Ninjutsu, with others under Doflamingo's rule teaching him what Corazon couldn't. Nevertheless, Law developed a close bond with Corazon, and a lesser, but still close, bond with Doflamingo himself.

As Law grew, his personality began to change more and more, becoming more like Doflamingo and Corazon and adopting ideals from both men. Eventually, Law began to see the entire Donquixote group as family. One day, Law caught wind of news that Corazon had died. Frantic, the then 24 year old Law went back to the Land of Lightning. While on this boat back, Law received news that Doflamingo had killed Corazon himself, effectively meaning he and the rest of the group had betrayed Corazon. Furious, Law had his goal set on killing Doflamingo and his entire group. Law sought out means of getting stronger. After a year and a half, he mastered Genjutsu, Ninjutsu and Kenjutsu. He eventually went back to the Land of Lightning. Having to go through Kumogakure, Law originally intended to stay in the city for a few days before heading to Doflamingo's palace. However, while at a tavern, Law got into a fight, and while he managed to defeat his opponent, it was clear he struggled and he knew this person wasn't on Doflamingo's level. Realizing that he still didn't have the strength to take out Doflamingo, Law sought new powers. He encountered an old man who said that Law's father was a user of Dark Release. After a grueling and lengthy ritual process, the old man fully awakened Law's Dark Release genetics. Law and the man are now preparing the spend the next six months training so Law can master his powers and kill Doflamingo.
