(Ninpou: Mitsudo Shifuto)- Ninja Arts: Density Shift

Description: The user performs the Ox → Monkey → Hare → Rat → Boar →Bird → Ram hand seals, then he touch the surface of water or earth. Causing the denser parts of that solid to shift upwards, switching places with the current surface. Changing the landscape, thus causing the Earth to react naturally. When dense earth for example the core switches with swamp of the under world, everyone would be able to move about freely. While under the surface, the swamp would still be there. For Earth's counter part water comes in contact with this jutsu, the temperature drops dramatically. Causing water to harden into ice, and for storm/hurricane clouds to form around the battle field.
Note: Can only be used once per battle
Note: Can only be used on Earth and Water substances
Note: When used on jutsus, it only works for A rank and below techniques
Note: This jutsu cause absolutely no damage to anyone.
Note: The user's hand specifically needs to be in contact with water or Earth for this to work

How does earth crack provide with defense except the fact that small amount of water can sink in the crack ?

Genuine question ._.

Pros:
-Best defensive technique against Swamp of the underworld.
-Good against water specialist as we can just freeze (or w.e.) the lake/river and thus stopping them from utilizing the water.
-Good when someone is underground or underwater.

Cons:
-Usable once :(
-Works on A-rank and below only >_>
-Need contact with ground/water when activating the technique.

Ques:
-Explain me the line "for storm/hurricane clouds to form around the battle field."
-Lets say you're underground and there is swamp on the field. I then use density shift so that swamp may go downwards and rigid part would come upwards. So in the process of swamp going downward and rigid part coming upwards there is matter shifting which is somewhat "arbitrary". And since you're down the earth, will you be torn apart because of matter shifting abnormally?

How does earth crack provide with defense except the fact that small amount of water can sink in the crack ?

-The temperature drops
-The air pressure intensifies making it easy to pick up gusts of wind
-the clouds can be used to use lightning jutsu or wind jutsu

B)Don't use this jutsu underground that's instant death!

A) Lets say I switch the swamp with rigid earth, then also thick thunder clouds will form? Or only in case when we switch water with ice?

B) That's what I'm trying to say. If my enemy is underground, then this technique is best against him. Right?

Pros: Can pretty much make any earth based jutsu useless if you word it right. Screws naras and reduces the excuse of "I notice the clouds forming"
Cons: Long string of handseals

pros: no hand seals long range, negates water jutsu to an extent and attacks at the same time
cons: only be used 3 times per battle, crack only extends to mid range
