Disney Infinity 3.0, Lego Dimensions, Skylanders Superchargers, and Amiibo
What are your thoughts on them? I wouldn't call them futuristic, but impressive. No medium of fiction (movie, show, novel, etc) that I know of has never predicted or toyed with the idea of toy figures being implemented with video games.
It's a concept that took me by surprise when I first heard of 'em.
Never played any of 'em and likely never will because they're a bit too childish for my taste (though I have Lego Batman 3 and like it). Just checked out gameplay vids. It's cool stuff. Kids nowadays are growing up with awesome games. Not that I didn't enjoy my Gameboy and Pokemon when I was a kid. Just sayin'
