This lady went and got her son from the Baltimore riots. Sure, maybe she shouldn't have hit him so much but she wasn't hurting him and these were extreme circumstances, the boy was there with his face covered so he was planning on doing no good.

Some people are saying she shouldn't have hit him and maybe that is true but she didn't hurt him. This wasn't staying out too late, he could have been killed.

I can't get the videos to display, why not?

Wait aren't you the one who was against beating your children?

OT: Anyway, I agree she did a great thing.

Eh, it's not really right. Her cause is good I suppose, and the situation very uncommon. I doubt anyone knows how to approach this situation correctly.

Dunno, I don't particularly care. Don't see her as a hero but it happened and it is probably VERY CLEAR to the kid that he was in something very serious and possibly about to make a huge mistake with his life.

I am against it, very much so, however this wasn't using violence as punishment it wasn't premeditated, this was a reaction of shock and horror and it wasn't over being out to late or dinging the car or not doing your homework, he might have been killed, I understand her reaction to this.
