Instead of new transformations I would prefer to see other new interesting abilties.
Tien was always cool for his great arsenal of abilities.
Solar flare, multiform, tribeam (that is risky as it uses lifeforce and is considered lot stronger than the kamehameha), multiple hands technique.
Roshi back in dragonball showed his Thunder shock surprise technique.
Also he knows drunken fist.
Dragonball super seems to be more about abilities than dragonball z anyway.
Look at Hit with his time abilities, invisible ki attacks, vital attacks, energy clones,
that Winny the Poo like yellow bear from uni6 who didnt take dmg,
Magetta with his lava and heat,
Lavender with his special poison,
Buu is a truckload of special abilities too.
Bergamo in the next episode will have something special too.
Also the base forms and normal ssj forms have become more important.
On top of that we have SSJblue to enter god ki.
New abilities would be more welcome than transformations imo.
Especially for Vegeta.
At least Goku has instant transmission, spirit bomb, kaioken, solar flare and evil containment wave.
Vegeta is just hand to hand combat and energy waves.
