what you must first know about me before discussing this thread is that... i hate my family.
i say that with great dissatisfaction, because i have tried to deal with them. unfortunately they are all crazy, ignorant, self-absorbed, and manipulative (varying between persons).
now to the main topic. my father is no exception to being distasteful. and he is some what belligerent; though not violent. although, i think he has an inferiority complex and yearns to 'prove his manliness', if there is a fight he could win (without legal ramifications as well). he is actually the kind of guy who is kind of (oh, how do i put it) 'greaser like'. sort of subtly cocky, but not when he is arrogant, which is more blatant. he is a bit goofy. and will spontaneously shout stuff like; "whoa there'a". sort of like an old-timey southerner; minus the word 'sonny'.
anyway. he has started saying that he probably has tourettes. but it doesn't seem like his belligerent torts are tics. and; besides his goofy outburst, its only during topics and conversations. problems. and they're not always important. like once when my sister (who was a bit of an unconscionable spender) asked to buy a dollar fifty song for her cell. he went off.
so what do you guys think? is he just taking advantage of a medical problem, or does it sound like he really has tourettes? if you can think of anything for me to describe to help paint the picture, let me know.
