The totsuka sword seals people in an eternal genjutsu, and I saw this theory about the reaper sealing people that she reaps in a genjutsu, so is there any plausibility to this theory that the totsuka sword seals people in Kaguya's infinite tsukyomi.
Itachi is the only person who we know of that used the sword, and he is an uchiha so Indra might have had this sword and used it to seal and torture those that opposed him, his and his grandmother's ways were very similar thus it is possible that Kaguya create the sword for him.

They're not related. Totsuka and Yata are pull ass things to make Itachi look strong.

Both Genjutsu have one parallel~ the way of functioning. Kaguyas Mugen Tsukuyomi and the Jutsu of Totsukas cucurbit are a "dream-like" Genjutsu, however, that's all. The Totsuka no Tsurugi is a sword without firm form and consists only of spiritual energy. Maybe Indra created it, maybe Kaguya, who knows.
