Totsuka no Tsurugi & Yata no Kagami

Hello everyone

This thread is not about the power of Totsuka no Tsurugi & Yata no Kagami!

In an MS Sasuke vs Itachi thread there was a point i was wondering about.

My thesis was (Susanoo vs Susanoo) , that Sasuke could go for distance and shot arrows until Itachi would run out of stamina for using Yata no Kagami too much and then couldn't use Totsuka no Tsurugi to seal him.

But my thesis about fight tactics doesn't matter.

Some Itachi fanboys just trolled around bla bla bla etc.

My Question is:

Do you think that Totsuka no Tsurugi & Yata no Kagami use a lot of chakra? ( My opinion: yes, a lot)

Is there any manga proof? (My opinion there is no evidence or counter evidence)

What do you think?

There is no evidence that they do. . . . Itachi might have low Chakra, but he has excellent chakra control. In his fight with Sasuke, Sasuke had run out of chakra before Itachi. Many people overlook this.

No, Totsuka no Tsurugi is the opposite of Kusanagi no Tsurugi

And sasuke uses the Kusanagi even if he is barely hurt.
Therefore I think No Chakra

Sasuke vs Itachi, he was far too weak from his illness.

Itachi vs Nagato, he had unlimited chakra.

I think it's down to character preferences.

There isn't really evidence so we can't confirm a yes or no. If someone does, they are guessing, or fanboying.

I don't like to be involved in debates or versus threads that involve Itachi, Sasuke or Minato -- I hope the reason is obvious. However on to the actual thread topic - do the Totsuka no Tsurugi [TB] & Yata no Kagami [YM] need a lot of chakra to sustain? There is nothing that implies this. Itachi does have a sub-par chakra reserve but possess exquisite chakra control. I do not believe that the TB & YM need much if at all any chakra to sustain as Sasuke possess the Sword of Kusangi [The Original Form of the Totsuka according to Japanese Mythology] doesn't need or hasn't noted to need chakra to sustain it from my memory. In addition, they are just weapons like a Kunai or a Shuriken. The chakra might be to hold them, but I believe they're self sustaining.
