the totsuka blade also known as the sakegiri blade is a spirit weapon known to seal whoever it pierces in a world of druken stupor for all eternity from this information we can as well say the totsuka blade is the most powerful weapon of sealing in the narutoverse but I would like to know if this blade can seal a bijuu. thoughts

"Oh, but the databook bla bla bla". The databook has made mistakes before, and the most important thing is what is in the manga. So we don't know what the real extend of totsuka blade is.
I believe that totsuka has a limit. I think that it can't seal giant amount of power/chakra. Basically, maybe it could seal shikaku but not kurama. Or maybe it could seal kurama but not the juubi. The thing is, we can't know for sure.

No, people just overrate this itens because they belong ot itachi. It's more likelt that they have a limitation, besided, the databook has made mistakes before and what really matters is what is in the manga. The statements were made by a character, so they can be true or they can be a hyperbole. It's more logical to accept both possibilities or to consider some logical but unknown limitation than deny all the other possibilities just to say that itachi is invencible.

It's funny because most the time... something is said in the Databook OR in the Manga.. however!... Everything that has been stated in the Databook AND manga has been true.

It makes little sense (and is way too convenient) that a technique that has no known consequences, i.e. Totsuka blade, is capable of sealing something that Shiki Fuujin, which takes the users soul and makes it suffer for eternity, is unable to. But that is what Itachi (or Oro or Maybe Zetsu) said so we have to take that as fact. But then again, Itachi also said that every Jutsu has a weakness. So who knows...Kishi.

Also, maybe what Minato meant by it being physically impossible to seal a Bijuu was that the Beast would be reborn, so that is also a possibility. Just my opinion though.

Not everything. The databook has made mistakes before. There is a difference between a character showing a power/feat and a character stating that another char or thing has such power/feat. We don't know the extend of totsuka's powers. Kishi wouldn't make something invencible. Even the kyuubi chakra, that we once thought that was almost unlimited, showed it's limitations. I acknowledge itachi's power, he is strong, top 15 or even top 10. But he is not invencible.
