Totsuka Blade vs Kamui

If Itachi was able to defeat Obito with his invincible Totsuka blade... then why didn't he seal or kill Obito in order to save Sasuke himself?
It was never stated that the Totsuka blade was as fast as the materialization of Susanno.
Obito with one MS and a normal sharingan wins after a tough fight, Obito with two MS destroys Itachi within seconds.

Nagato couldn't dodge Totsuke Blade because he couldn't move due to his immobility.

The Manga never stated that Totsuke blade is fast.

Not to mention, Kabuto was basically fighting for Nagato. If Nagato was in control and had killing intent, things might've ended differently.

Well, Totsuka Blade is used as an extension of Itachi's Susano'o which is composed of Chakra.

It's clearly stated what tosuka is made of... it's an ethereal spirit sword that exists out side of Itachi's chakra. His chakra/susanoo is a case for the scabbard lol but I dig it

Being composed of ethereal matter doesn't imply that it's not made of Chakra. The fact that Itachi manifests it when he uses his V4 Susano'o suggests that it's composed of chakra, not to mention that ethereal matter is highly composed of Yin Chakra or in other-words, mostly consists of Spiritual Energy:

Totsuka Blade does not work if it does not hit. The question isn't if the Totsuka blade works against obito, it's if Itachi can hit Obito at all. He was able to react to JJ Madara, who is faster than Itachi, so there's no reason to believe that Itachi can hit him.

Lol he had bz as a part of him and bz solo'd Godara so he makes a huge difference not to mention that Obito still had rikudo senjutsu as stated by Godara so that's why he evaded Godara first strike because Godara forgot about kamui once he realized it he quickly deduced the mechanics behind kamui and knew when and how to hit Obito to the point where obito said he couldn't go to the other dimension because madara's jutsu was too fast so kakashi helped him to get an opening to run to the other dimension...

Black Zetsu isn't a powerup. It(She?) was trying to control Obito, so if anything Black Zetsu was making it harder. Next, Madara is still much faster than Itachi, there is no reason to think Itachi can attack Obito fast enough to prevent him from warping.

Like I said: I dig what you're getting but totsuka exists separately from Itachi's chakra no matter if it's made of its own spiritual energy/chakra just like any sword it is used an as extension of the self yet it exists on its own apart from the wielder to a degree.. It's simply more than just an extension of his chakra albeit I agree for the most part.

On a side note: I'm glad he didn't give either to Le Sauce or else he'd be uber op with madara onward soloed in lieu of duo seals

I was making a point that the obito you referred to as being to fast for Godara to counter wasn't just because of his own power he did have rikudo senjutsu still as Godara explainedso my point stands ms obito however does not and could be countered as he has been and itachi avoided kcm Naruto who was the fastest in the Manga upon his introduction even being faster than ftg as mention by Ay so itachi is pretty damn fast...he is the fastest least moving shinobi ever

Btw, I've noticed that when Totsuka stabs, there's a lag before the victim gets sealed away in the genjutsu. Not like that matters since if it does manage to stab and that said individual escapes, he'd still have a hole in his chest. Ha

Was JJ Madara moving at 1/1000th of a second or Faster?

You would have to prove that first.

Madara was fast but he wasn't moving at Light Speed.

If you watch Gai vs madara you will see that.


So unless Obito has evaded a Light Speed attack you can not say that he could evade Totsuka

kirin < ay < kcm naruto < 1ms obito < 8 gates guy <=> juubi madara in terms of speed. rsm naruto and sausage fit in there somewhere but its really not that important.
