Yata mirror can block the meteor, its pretty simple.

By these classifications, yata easily blocks it by changing its properties. To answer your pointless question, if the rays or some shit were used to attack, Yata would block it.

another point:Itachi activated Susanoo,Kirin destroyed it!!!that's why Itachi was shown down 1st and then he stand up and uses Susanoo again,just like Madara vs 5 kages,he was able to use it every time...a perfect susanoo may have cooldown but not a small Susanoo!
Itachi traped Sasuke in Tsukuyomi and he was sure he won and then he was shocked when Sasuke stopped the genjutsu!
