Yamamoto without Zanpakuto (just Kido and pre-release sword) beats young bankai Toshiro.

There's really too much difference. Yamamoto really shits on him badly with Shikai. And with Bankai this is not even a fight

Toshiro at his age is already Captain class something these other captains could never manage. Its quite possible if he was Yama's age he would be able to fight him to a close battle.

So yea as weak as Toshiro is right now (among the weakest Captains) he has a lot of potential.

I think rukia would be a better match for his bankai as it doesnt rely on water. If rukia was a genius I would really like to see that fight and I currentely think her bakai has more potential than toshiro but we shall see soon.

OT: Cant really say for sure but i still gotta give it to yama his defense and offense are hard to match in bankai and more importantly his ultimate attack seems unstoppable.

Well Old man yama was the Captin Comandir for 2100 years and plus his acadamy trainingband how old he is, hebwas who knows how old, and Toshiro is top in his early 100 top, and at his age he is a captin, the older the shinigami gets and trains the stronger he will become it takes time.

If both are of same age then it will be a close fight but yama winning.
If both grow in age with yama being 2100 years older then yama negs toshiro..
I really like toshiro.he has a lot of potential to be no.1
But yama will always be the strongest captain for me
