i don't think thermodynamics is applicable in Bleach.........Reiatsu trumps all.....doesn't matter what your ability is superior reiatsu wins......Aizen showed that to everyone.....yes Toshiro's ability is haxx point conceded but wait for the next chapter to see the catch...i am sure there is a particular limitation like it was with Ichigo when he turned into Mugetsu.....not exactly the same but a limitation nonetheless. I also think that absolute zero is rather figuratively used to describe Toshiro's powers rather that giving it meaning in technical terms

Is Toshiro's new power actually at Absolute Zero? If it's not, then there's no way it can beat Yama's Bankai. If he can't reach absolute zero, that means he isn't actually removing energy from a system entirely, which is what would be needed to fight Yama's Bankai.

Toshiro's Zanpakuto is all about controlling Ice and water, rather than strait up lowering temperatures like Rukia's Zanpakuto.

the argument is that if his bankai is at absolute zero. based on logic, something that should never be applied to fiction, it would be able to defeat yamamoto's bankai, regardless of how hot yama can get his, due to the weird and wonderful ways that temperature works.

the counter argument is that toshiro's powers are based on Ice and not Coldness, and therefore is not at absolute zero.
