How did Komtasu even find her voice nostalgic? Unless his gourmet demon is related to Frohze's. This chapter offered great exposition as always and cleared up many misconceptions about the back channel/world of spirits. Each chapter is nicely expanding upon the civilization of Area 6 and it's theme of slavery. It's kinda messed up, either you're killed, forced into slavery or put up for soul trading. I wonder what purpose Chako's storyline would serve to the overall plot... anyways I'm hyped for next week.

It's a manly series where characters (Toriko) hunt ingredients so he can add them to his full course menu. If you're a fan of other manly series like fist of the north star or JoJo's Bizarre Adventure then you'll most likely enjoy Toriko as it has many inspirations from those series. The plot comes more into fruition after the TS but before that it's more adventure oriented.
