Shima's creativity never ceases to amaze me. This cooking match was very entertaining and having them cook on a balancing seesaw was awesome to test their speed/precision. The characterization given to Yuda was excellent and seeing the mistakes he made in the past has formed him to what he is today. I really hope Shima takes this direction of giving the characters nice backstories. This is the type of backstory that I want the four heavenly kings to get. A backstory that gives us insight why the character has that personality and what was the cause. Favorite moment of the backstory:

Im glad I picked up on Toriko coz its rare to find a story that can still give u good chapters in main character absent arcs.

That Yudq back story was cool and i say makes up for that so needs a grooming mane of his which is weird he shld have kept the hero look of his youth.

i can't wait to see his dish when done and those other battles which i wonder if are all gonna be to the death or is there gonna b some can revive the dead type dish down the line coz i doubt it can end five to none.

He was preparing his work space, so yeah adjusting the gravity space.

It showed all five emitting aura, which would speak about the outcomes of the battle. Although, it won't be easy at all. Maybe one of the human world chefs will lose their souls because the judges have to test out the food for them to pass.
