Looks
Toriko is an extremely muscular and exceptionally tall 25 year old man with somewhat messy blue hair reaching down to the back of his neck. He has three scars running from his left ear to just under his left eye. He has strong, angular facial features and somewhat catlike eyes. He is often seen wearing an orange jumpsuit with a blue shirt and boots and it's his most commonly preferred attire.
Personality
Toriko has a personallity of rugged manliness, eating heavily, drinking, showing off, and displaying a wild sense of enthusiasm only towards what interest him and rarely towards what interest others. Many define him as a glutton. He also has an obsession with perfection when it comes to the food he serves.

Background Information
[History
Not much is known about Toriko's past, however it is known that during his childhood he, along with four other children named Coco, Sunny, Zebra and Rin were young starving orphans living alone in a poverty stricken nation. Toriko was the strongest out the group making him the 'leader'. He would be the one who goes out to search for food.Everything had to go through him. The rest of the group accepted that at a young age, but as they grew up, they realized that they should be their own man, and not have their lives be kept under control by their friend.
The group disbanded with each man living their own life. Toriko knew he couldn't survive on his own without any money so he joined the nearest ninja academy and enrolled on a course hoping to become a stronger ninja and bring his friends back home.
As the years went by Toriko mastered the basic five elements along with hand to hand combat. Toriko knew he was getting close to his goal to bringing his friends back, but had a long way ahead of him.
It was when Toriko was training, when a hooded man asked for his name, Toriko was confused, by the man wearing gloves in weather like this, the man asked him if he wants to bring his friends back.
Toriko was shocked, wondering how the man knew about his past, he told him that by joining his hidden clan, his goal would become easier. Toriko accepted his offer and became a new member of the Bartholomew clan.

Toriko carries around a large number of ninja tools consisting of smoke bombs, seals, scrolls, kunai, shruiken etc. Cell utilizes them to the maximum when in battle.Toriko also carries a dual katanas and a foldable fan on his back. For extra protection,Toriko always wears a gas mask with an eye shield that blocks out concentrated light which protects him from sudden flashes and gases. Torikohas been know to always come into battle prepared.
